I’m going through an incredibly difficult season in my life, one that in most instances I would’ve loved to move past and forget. However, it’s in these very moments that spiritual growth is happening at a grand scale. The Lord led me to this video and it was exactly what I needed. God is good, God is so good! @snowboardbum805 sorry to hear about that bro. I too went through that in May of this year with my fiancee. I was devastated and became depressed and fell into sin. Started drinking every night and smoking weed. I was trying to escape the pain through what the world had to offer instead of drawing near to and trusting in God. My prayers were mostly why God and bring her back. I failed to see the situation I was truly in at that moment. I became so focused on her and then myself that despite me praying to God everyday I had lost sight of him. I obviously don't know your exact situation but I do know your pain brother. God knows your exact situation and pain better than anyone can too! All I can say is as hard as it may be right now, as much as you may not even feel like praying or worshiping Jesus, don't lose sight of him. If anything, draw closer and closer to God during this difficult time! Don't blame God either, not saying you have, but at one point I felt the temptation to blame him knowing it was never his fault. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you! He will lift you up and give you the strength to continue on day after day. Even on your worst days when you may feel like doing absolutely nothing and wallowing in self pity or blaming yourself, don't. Instead, go to your prayer closet, shut the door, no distractions and pray! Pray like it's your last day and during prayer give Thanks! Give thanks you may say, why? What is there to be thankful for at a time like this?! Give thanks to God for all you still have. Don't focus on your recent loss, I know easier said than done. Focus on your life, your health, your family, and everything else he's given you. Every day he gives you is a gift and a sign of his love for you! Even on days you may feel like not wanting to live, LIVE! You are not alone especially during this difficult time. God is with you, he loves you so much and he's there with you now. If you have to cry, cry man. Let it all out and take it to Jesus and lay it all down at the foot of his throne. There he will meet you and lift you up, wipe your tears away and in him you will find a newfound strength! Remember, God is always with you and will never forsake you! Despite who comes into your life and stays or who chooses to leave, God, The Beginning and The End, The Alpha and The Omega, The Creator of all lives in you and has a plan in store for you life brother!
