Splendid. Great work. No less than mastery.
Would have liked to see how you trimmed the vertical excess off the side of the wall in a straight line
Hey Spencer. Great video… can I ask do you ever use a wallpaper hanging brush… rather than a tough smoother it’s softer on delicate papers. A great one over here in the UK is by a brand called Hamilton. Absolute quality brush about 8 inches wide. 👍 take care buddy. Marc
Edit upon further watching this video I did see you use a brush. But the one we use over here is natural bristle and very thick. Takes air bubbles out a treat!
@@MarcGray1990 your brushes are far better than the one in this video I was trained on smoothers and I’m addicted to Them sir.
Love your video, do you have to prime the wall before applying the wallpaper adhesive or can I just apply it over a painted wall?
Prime first with pro 999
At first I was with you I used the rechargeable batteries for a while but they started dying out real quick with the laser levels and I found it cheaper and much more efficient to use disposable batteries, I just make sure I recycle them though.
So I'm getting ready to try this myself and watching you has been so helpful. But I am only doing half the wall at the top around my tub. The lower half of the wall around my tub will be a foam tile. The 3d picture is a leaf and branch picture on silk cloth paper. So it seems from watching you that I don't spread the wallpaper paste onto the wallpaper but onto the wall. And I wet the wallpaper with a sponge.
The wallpaper paste I bought is SureGrip brand and it says heavy duty adhesive. But instructions say to apply liberally to the back of the wallpaper. Will I have better results spreading it on the walls first or on the wallpaper? Also I have to go around a window and I'm not sure how to be consistent with matching up a 3d picture when I have to cover the reveal of the window. Do you have a video on how to continue a 3d picture around a window, any help would be appreciated.
I thought this deserved a separate comment, but you should point out that there are many types of smoothers and that some are made of hard plastic which will scratch murals and then you have the soft plastic ones like the one your using that minimize scratches as long as you keep it wet.
Great point !
