Glad they finally gave some agency to G2 Hel, they literally won the tournament and League placed their matches in the "League Vault" channel, which has like only 600 subscribers. It´s sad to see how little promotion this girls got, on instagram I follow the league official account, the league esports acc, the g2 acc and I only saw about 2 things about G2 Hel playing, even if you googled G2 Hel, leaguepedia didn´t have their matchlist, most of us were virtually blocked from watching that events just by the sheer lack of promotion
We did cover all their games extensively on our Twitter! Unfortunately this was 'just' a small online tournament, but we're committed to making sure to give the Hel team the spotlight they deserve 🙏

Wdym sad? Do you care about High Dia/Low masters games? Do you actively watch them? When you create a team where only 2 players PEAKED chall ONCE in their life then why would anybody watch that? Cheer for Jeon Soo-jin (cus she actually got hired by LSB) and not for some players that are basically masters.
@@darkus4711 what a sad view on the topic you have. Statistically there's far less women players than men and you just cannot expect to draw the same amount of level from the 70% of players (that are men) than the other 30% of players (that are women) it's just far less common and far less harder to find. You should be happy that women are being introduced to esports in league and not be an elitist ignorant. For example: let's say you are a drafter for an esports team, you wanna make a male team and a female team. Now you gotta check out whom of the men and whom of the women are good enough to be a proplayer in their leagues. (Obviously numbers are an example) With the 100 males you got to choose from it's very easy to just pick the ones you want for your team, on the other hand you have 40 females to pick from, it's just logical to expect a lower level cause you have less to choose from. Putting that aside, even if the G2 Hel team has lower level than the G2 team you end up looking like an ahole cause G2 team didn't win much last year in their league, while G2 Hel team won the tournament they played in. It's not about comparing them but about them playing good in their respective leagues. And your comparison with the new female asian player is just worth a laugh, you're trying to compare the level of a full drafted team to a single female with higher elo, what are you gonna do with a single proplayer? You need the other 4 players. And even if they manage to get the other 4 players you are comparing an asian drafted team to an european drafted team. Whatever you say and whatever you do korean and chinese have been dominating the competitive stage for some time and that's also statistics and just logical and critical thinking
