Hello! I would really appreciate your help, i.e. info. My plotter (it's a TM200) keeps trimming like 3 inches of roll paper before each print! So if I print, let's say, one drawing in 10 copies, it will waste 3 inches of paper before each of those. Is this normal behavior for imagePROGRAF machines?
It sounds like you have one of the trim settings enabled. If you tap the "plain paper" icon on the home screen, then go to "paper settings", then select "trim edge first" then select your desired setting. It should probably be "auto" or "off" but it sounds like you've got a preset engaged.
@@amplifycan Development: No, that is not the issue. It was set to "off" and it didn't work (I tried other settings and got the same result). I figured out that the "Borderless printing" setting causes this issue. However, turning that off produces another issue (a mini border which I have to trim w/ scissors...which is a mission impossible in the case of massive bulk printing). Conclusion - it is bad either way. Other plotters have borderless printing option without paper waste.
Hey Cameron, The 120 and 320-series inks are the two size inks that machines accepts. I have received calls in the past about issues very similar to this, but the actual inks were 102 and not 120. The 102 inks were for older model Canons and do not fit the TM305 machines. Verify that the inks you have are Genuine Canon PFI-120 series inks and let me know, please. Thanks, Derrick
Can u pit cotton canvas in there for printing ?
This video should be titled as "How to PARTIALLY set up and use your Cannon TM305."
