Semporna Heroes @ Pulau Denawan

Throwback of our food aids mission to Denawan Island. Denawan Island located at southeast of Semporna and is the last island with large population of 350 families between Malaysia and Philippines border.
The population of Denawan is 17% Malaysia Citizen, 26% undocumented sea gypsies and the rest consist of Bajau and Suluk illegal immigrant and stateless children.
Towns located at any country border often facing immigration problems and worsen by complicated history and ethnicity roots that established long before the artificial border created during colonial time.
