I don’t care that you took time to introduce yourself. I appreciate you simplifying this information for those of us who need. You’ve got a new subscriber Sir. Kudos to you!
Thank you for sharing your hard-earned knowledge in Mathematics with others, free of charge! We just have to be a little patient and appreciate every bit of it, wholeheartedly. There are so many in this world who do not have this priceless opportunity to learn mathematics in this way, taking it easy, without any pressure. If we ask them whether they want to trade places with us, they would be ever ready to do that. But, that is impossible and would never happen. So, let’s understand how fortunate we are and be respectful and grateful to this teacher for his generosity🙏🏽
what is there to show? It is simple. you just use a fraction as the exponent where the numerator is the power used and the denominator is the root. x to the 3/4 power would be the fourth root of (x raised to the third power)
Factoring the square root of 3 out of the original equation would produce a (1+4) factor. Doing this would be a great visual in what is happening during this simplification. Same this with the root 8/2 problem -- factoring out a square root of 2 gives (2+1) as the other factor.
I used a slightly different route, but came up with A SMILEY FACE!!! WEEEEEEE!!!!!! Nevertheless, your method was simpler and more direct. I learned sumpin'!!!! :-)
OK I'm old. Graduated High School in "72" As I remember my classes if I finished with an answer of 5 times the square root of 3 it would have been marked incorrect because i didn't complete the problem by not finding the square root of three without the use of a calculator. What has changed since then and now?
I have white-out. I'm glad about that. I'm glad this is not a lesson in Arabia where they smack you with a stick if you even get slightly smart about the answer. I would be bruised and bloody by now. There is always a measure of enlightenment in these lessons. There are sub processes that don't seem readily apparent at all. Turn 8 squared into into four by two squared. My intuition would never take me there. It does work.
so could the original be simplified to sqrt (18) which is sqrt (9 x 2) or 3 sqrt (2) ?? But, since sqrt 8 = +/- answer a and sqrt 2 = +/- answer b the REAL solution is +/- sqrt 8 +/- sqrt 2 = all the following sqrt 8 + sqrt 2 sqrt 8 - sqrt 2 -sqrt 8 + sqrt 2 - sqrt 8 - sqrt 2 so the answer of 3 sqrt 2 fails to yield ALL the correct answers.... and, in fact, the demonstration of sqrt 3 + 3 sqrt 3 suggested answer of 4 sqrt 3 fails this observation too.

Video really starts at 2:26
Thanks 😂
Im 11 and I wanted to learn this, its pretty easy. Thanks for the video!
Why did u want to learn this, I'm 14 and it's pain
@@AightBroBetbro fr😭 this kid finna be a genius
Wow sir thank you for this it help with my exam
You mke things so clear. Thank you!

You’re a life saver dude
You made it so clear bro..
thanks this video was super helpful!
Thank you sir, this helped me out!
I shared this video with my nephew. Thanks.
bro you explain this so simply thank you!
Thank you
Thanks for helping me acing my test❤
you took the first 3 min of the video giving us your dang resume and then took 2 and a half minutes to tell us one simple thing
Thanks for letting me know I could skip ahead a bit 😅
Simple...yeah...simple..
😊😊❤👏👏👏
You never thought to fast forward? Do your part
Another way that you can represent roots is as fractional powers. It would be nice if you have a video (haven’t checked yet) showing this.

Gracias 💗
thanks.
3root2
Bruh my school has me cooked thank you sir for the vid helped me out fr

3√2
OK I'm old. Graduated High School in "72" As I remember my classes if I finished with an answer of 5 times the square root of 3 it would have been marked incorrect because i didn't complete the problem by not finding the square root of three without the use of a calculator. What has changed since then and now?
sqrt 8 + sqrt 2 = 3 sqrt 2
and that is sqrt(18)
I have white-out. I'm glad about that. I'm glad this is not a lesson in Arabia where they smack you with a stick if you even get slightly smart about the answer. I would be bruised and bloody by now. There is always a measure of enlightenment in these lessons. There are sub processes that don't seem readily apparent at all. Turn 8 squared into into four by two squared. So you cant add square roots that arent the same but you can in the second set of examples?
3√2 is the answer
3SQRT2
I dont know if you'll read this. But
Would (√3)³ become 3√3?
Cuz its √3×√3×√3
And √3×√3=3
You are correct 😀
Shalom
The answer three square root of 2
3 root 2 ?
👍👍
so could the original be simplified to
sqrt (18)
which is sqrt (9 x 2)
or 3 sqrt (2) ??
But, since sqrt 8 = +/- answer a
and sqrt 2 = +/- answer b
the REAL solution is
+/- sqrt 8 +/- sqrt 2
= all the following
sqrt 8 + sqrt 2
sqrt 8 - sqrt 2
-sqrt 8 + sqrt 2
- sqrt 8 - sqrt 2
so the answer of
3 sqrt 2 fails to yield ALL the correct answers....
and, in fact, the demonstration of
sqrt 3 + 3 sqrt 3
suggested answer of
4 sqrt 3 fails this observation too.
Why not square root 3 + square root 3 = square root 6
To much yappin get straight to the topic , almost fell asleep with that intro
Bros yapping for 2 strate minutes 💀
u german?
Teachers teach ... not just give you the answer!
From one teacher to another ... well gone!
U talk too much
You're very tedious:(
but not overbearing
