4:00 That’s an interesting twist on something revealed in the novelizations of season 1. In an extension of the opening narration , Aaravos mentions how humans were given the first primal stones and taught draconic words by a unicorn named Leola. He mentioned how she was “unique for her rare kind”, and held more love and compassion for humanity than the elves and dragons. Aaravos technically wasn’t lying. He just omitted certain details. Also if this means that the first primal stones were literally gifts Leola gave to her human friends, it makes what happened to her even sadder. It’s basically punishing a kid for wanting to share their toys with their friends. She really didn’t think she was doing anything wrong.
Good thing the creators confirmed that Leola was autistic. I recognized the signs, and being on the spectrum, it's nice to see another character similar to me (to an extent)
Leola is definitely autistic coded I should know I have autism as well though I’m on th slighter side of the spectrum. Leola gave humans primal stones and taught them the draconic language to cast primal magic, something the Startouch elves decreed was forbidden, Aaravos created dark magic. His freedom shows how he ate Aditi, his natural height is huge.
8:30 Terry’s words also apply to everything we learned about Viren this season. What started out as a story of love became twisted into something evil along the way. But Claudia still can’t see it and is convinced that Aaravos and Viren were only doing what was necessary.
11:56 I think the creators did confirm that Leola was autistic. As someone else on the spectrum, I recognized some of her movements during the trial as her stimming.
@LauraM96829 I just looked, and from what i can see, that's the case, It's lovely to have confirmation; far too often, the characters either are never confirmed to be Autistic, or they are confirmed but become nothing but stereotypes
I was surprised by that revelation from the 6 Primal Sources Online Advertisement posters. And other Dragon Prince fans have found the location of that book via Callum’s map to Ocean Point, Xadia where Aaravos’s original home which later be his prison was located.
@@hannahburke7328 Harrow said that it unlocks something of great power in Xadia. And everyone knows knowledge is power. I bet in season 7, the gang will find the old cottage Aaravos lived in with Leola, and Callum will use the key to open the book.
And I feel deeply, that Aaravos didn't tell the whole truth, just the part to make Claudia release him. He didn't lie, but not telling the whole truth isn't the same as lying. And Claudia... What have you done?
Can someone please explain to me how not telling somebody something unless they directly question you about it can be a lie? Withholding information is not a lie.
From what I can piece together, it seems like there is some sort of proficy that depicts everything falling into chaos, and humans having magic was the first step. I'd bet that this is one of those cases where you meet your fate on the path you take to avoid it...
Thank you for being the most steadfast Dragon prince reactor! It's been an emotional ride... Btw, The most sadistic part of Aaravos' prison? He wasn't just imprisoned submerged in his own tears & in the crater Leola's body created....His prison was placed exactly within her remains. That giant rib cage we saw surrounding the pearl in the S5 finale? That was Leola's rib cage. Someone from the Dragon prince writing room confirmed this on twitter. Talk about "twist the knife" after capturing the guy! This is why I think Aaravos (as Pharos) directed Sol Regem to burn down Katolis specifically, of the human kingdoms. On the surafce, Aaravos doesn't seem like he should have beef with Katolis (He's generally more personally invested with the Xadian politics, just using human mages & rulers as a tool to further the conflict with Xadia). But the one who figured out his 4000+ years of schemes roughly 300 yrs ago, ruined his good rep & cover by telling Queen Aditi & Luna Tenbris, and ultimately got him imprisoned, was the Orphan Queen; the founder and first ruler of Katolis. I think seeing Katolis burn was probably an act of revenge against the Orphan Queen's legacy, in response to learning his prison was placed literally inside his daughter's remains... And yes, according the TDP wiki, Leola gave humans the first primal stones, in order for them to be able to connect to the aracanums to do primal magic. I assume Dark magic is Aaravos' creation; as it seems dark magic is specifically how he telepathically connects to human mages & how he possesses & manipulates them for furthering his plans. Either way, I can't see Leola, a young child described as innocent & loved by all, teaching humans a type of magic that inherently harms magical creatures to function; much less, use it herself.
Loved your reaction. This is my favorite episode, I was sobbing the first few times I've seen it. Yes I also think she's autistic, I am as well. And if you go back to 5x9 you can see bones looking like a ribcage around the pearl. So he was imprisoned in his daughters corpse in the sea made of his tears from weeping for 100 years. 😭 I love how Aaravos was shocked and like he couldn't believe it really worked when he got out. I hate the other startouch elves for being so cruel. Leola didn't deserve that and neither did Aaravos. Also the 7th season is coming on december 19 🎉😊
To answer the question about which boy, who might have witness Aaravos killing Sol Regem in the pervious reaction videos, I was talking about the one who wanted to touch Zubiea not Nathan in f the Drakewood Earthblood Elves. I found this on an interview video from @ReelJames channel.
Aaravos is *HUGE!* 😱 Also, while I sympathize with him for the loss of his daughter Leola, it doesn’t excuse the millennia worth of pain and suffering he has caused to the people of Xadia, human, elves, or other, just to avenge her death. Side Note: I have a bad feeling that Aaravos’s revenge against the Startouch Elves will end up destroying Xadia, since killing Leola ended up causing a massive crater that would become the Sea of the Castout. I really hope we’re ready for the 7th(possibly last) book of The Dragon Prince.
When I first saw that red dragon scale necklace I originally thought that was the spell to free Aaravos, now I have a bad feeing that this is the spell to kill the Startouch Elves of the Cosmic Council😱!!!!
At 9:24 I have been in Dragon Prince fan discussions about the idea of Callum trapping Aaravos in a cursed coin and here the many reasons why this is terrible idea; first in Zubiea’s flashback when he was catch there were two lines breaking about so that how he will get out, secondly this will be his chance to permanently control Callum if he goes against the Star Soul Cleaning Ritual and let the darkness consume him forever, unless that is used against Aaravos because he always has difficult time processing Callum because he flesh bubbles up, third Claudia will steal the last Quasar Diamond to free Aaravos at the Moon Nexus, and finally in an interview video I found the creators said that this is to create speculation. The better idea for the heroes to kill Aaravos is to steal the red dragon scale necklace from Claudia and use the draconic runic spell to kill him before he uses it to the Cosmic Order.
Who is excited to see Rayla fight her two Azulas which are Claudia and Kimdeal The Bloodmoon Huntress, who inspired her to be an assassin after Rayla failed to save a sky wing elven family’s friends in the titular graphic novel?
Too me Kim'deal was an unessary creation to explain Rayla's fear of water in a cool way. She showed up as quickly as she left & had basically no impact on the story.
One quasar diamond remains. My money's on bringing King Harrow back in the final season. There is a reason they showed us that the same spell was used both for coins and for someone's spirit who's body was killed. I would have guessed Viren but they pretty much wrapped him up with a bow.
They killed his young autistic daughter for trying to help humans. Those startouched elves were deliberately trying to keep humans weak and subservient. If Aravos’ plan is to depose them, I feel like that’s pretty valid.
Aaravos’s story feels a little fishy to me. I feel like he’s telling the truth and I do feel for his pain, but at the same time it’s like he’s either only telling half the story or he really doesn’t know how things ended up the way they did.
Kind of ironic. Rayla sends away two people who's job it is to protect life. Her biological parents protected Zim's egg as Dragon Guards. Yet she brings back an assassin who's job is to take life.

This is a classic example of a retcon.
I do not view this revelation as retcon, because we saw Leola’s bones in the Season 5 finale.
She wasn't doing anything wrong.
Fun fact: Leola was voiced by Jason Simpson’s (Viren’s voice actor) daughter, Ridley.
And was named after Erik Todd Dellums's mother.
Good thing the creators confirmed that Leola was autistic. I recognized the signs, and being on the spectrum, it's nice to see another character similar to me (to an extent)
I Too Am Autistic And I See Small Parts Of Me In Both Claudia And Leola.

I Said It Before And I'll Say It Again, Claudia Is More Blind Than Sol Regem And The Celestial Elves Who've Been Wearing Blindfolds Their Whole Lives.
11:56 I think the creators did confirm that Leola was autistic. As someone else on the spectrum, I recognized some of her movements during the trial as her stimming.
It Was.😢
I definitely saw the possible autism traits in Leola
She even flaps her hands when she's scared at her trial
Another reason to hate the Startouch Elves for killing her.
The creators did confirm that she’s autistic.
Yes that is one of the many autistic traits, because I am autistic.
@@milliegoodwin5389 I think the creators did confirm it, and I guessed it on my first watch since I’m also on the spectrum.

3:00 The Key Of Aaravos Is Literally The Key To His Spell Book. 😮

Season 7 dec 19 🎉🎉🎉
A Week Before Christmas! 😆🎉
I hope we’re ready.
Merry Christmas to us!
Who is also excited to see three more seasons of The Dragon Prince if the creators can get more fan support and the green light from Netflix?
@@spencerpalmer4961 Me! I hope season 7 does well enough so Netflix will greenlight arc 3.

It Makes Sense Why Aaravos Did All This From The Past Few Seasons, Because Of What Happened To His Daughter.
I hope the Startouch elves are given every single ounce of karma they are owed for killing an innocent child like Leola.
