@@TheIrek666eh, I think he always looks weird with his weapon manipulations (specifically when he’s at high or low ready and aiming). On the other hand Max Thieriot (who plays Clay) looks great handling his rifle, like the real deal. Tbh, everyone does but David Boreanaz. Good actor, though.
Because of the episode you guys did with Tyler Grey, I started watching this show - in less than a month I watched every episode from all six seasons and now it's one of my favorite shows ever. Thanks for giving a guy like Tyler a platform to share some of his wisdom with those of us that haven't earned it. He seems like a genuine dude. By the way, have you guys noticed how much Tyler Grey has been appearing on other people's UA-cam channels lately? He totally blew up after you had him on
The skydiving device is called AAD (automatic activation device), and it requires a certain velocity at a certain altitude, and, unfortunately, a line-over might still provide enough lift that it slows the skydiver just enough that the proper velocity to trigger the AAD isn't reached- it's like a perfect storm situation. Also, most AAD simply open the reserve, so even if it went off here, might still be a deadly situation and wrap around the main while spinning like this.
Guys you'll probably NEVER hear a lot of people vote for this because it was back in the 90's or late 80's but y'all gotta check out the TV show "TOUR OF DUTY"! One of if not THE BEST war TV shows ever!
Awesome episode and glad y’all finally did this one. Pistol CQB was a sight to behold and it holds true for even future episodes. Kudos to the actors that train to look the part and the writers for giving an awesome show that is easy to digest for everyone
I don’t know why but yours is the only channel that I actively go out of my way to support by all the UA-cam stuff like liking a subscribing to buying bucks book. You guys do good things and always stay humble and real. Appreciate you
I'm former Australian Army, wasn't freefall-qualified but we had AADs (Automatic Activation Device?) for our static-line chutes too. My understanding is they work off of velocity/inertia at a given altitude. They have a small explosive charge that servers the closing loop of the reserve which is spring-loaded to deploy the pilot. I remember an AAD deploying inside the aircraft during descent on my first training jump. One of the other students had an issue and did not jump, a stooly (stool pigeons, cadre that aren't instructors but assist) didn't jump either as a consequence. For whatever reason his AAD deployed as they were descending, I remember it being a pretty-big deal at the time. Didn't witness it myself, just the aftermath.
I watched all 6 seasons on DVD, and... SPOILER ALERT... all 6 of them are good, not a single episode is bad, there's no boring filler or stupid stuff! By today's standard that's quite the achievement. 🤗

As always great fun, thank you. The commercial is also super dope. I truly like the style of it. Oh and if you ever have time, watch the Band of Brothers episode where they go after a MG position at night. My son is in the Army 18X Special Forces Program, started February 2024.He just finished boot Camp. He won the boot camp ground fighting competition of about 200 guys. My Son wrestled his whole life since 5 yrs old and then into BJJ and Muay Thai, He was top 3 in the shooting and top 3 in the running, he won the Pugil Stick fighting. While Rucking with the platoon a guy behind him was struggling, So my son carried the guys M4 along with his own M4, and the guy hung on my sons ruck sac a large part of the ruck. At the end they gave out 3 awards and my son recieved 2 of them. He was asked to lead the platoon on the pledge. He also recieved a 98 on his ASVAB test. Straight As in Latin, Math, and statistics and all his college courses. He got his degree 2 yrs ago. He is in very good physical shape. He is now going into Infrantry school, then Airborne. etc. Based off of how well he' performed so far. He is very focused and motivated and deciplined. What are your thoughts on him making it through green berets. Based off of so far?
Im a massive Seal team fan!! And i love how much you guys love the show too. Ther are some resl bangers coming so itll be fun getting your commentary. Happy New year boys!!
These reactions can easily be longer and will still be as good to watch while not feeling like a long episode at all. (might save time on editing also and be out faster ^-^ ) The in between stories are hilarious but also the real life examples are a great add on. That there will be one for each episode is gonna be a great playlist, interested in the reactions to later episodes when they bring up more the consequences of operating to the individual. I feel like they did it as good as with the training accident to show that part.
without any spoilers, in the episode "God of War" S4E1, you get some great character development with Jason and Cerberus and damn thats a great episode and defs one of my favs, along with the followup eps. get around it!
Thanks for the book recommendation. Had a free credit on Audible to use and it popped up on the search. I appreciate what you guys do. And, thank you for your service.
12:13 I agree they explain, but so casually they make it sounds like it's everyday briefing. Everyone understands without becoming an obvious focus point for later. I like how smooth the writers were about details like this.
Thing is, also, as a cop you are mostly clearing spaces with perhaps one partner, not a team, and only a pistol, and it changes the approach. I drove tanks, so I wasn't so wedded to a rifle when I made the switch to the police, but then I wasn't sitting behind a couple of inches of armour with a big cannon on top any longer! As for the parachute, I was playing a cricket match for the HK Police, against the British Army, at the Shek Kong RAF base in the New Territories, HK, when a skydiver roman candled into the field next to the pitch and was killed instantly. It was not a pleasant watch seeing him hit the deck. Never fancied jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft and relying on a parachute to get me down!
Johannesburg is not in the "bush" . Its arguably the most industrial place here (South Africa). Sure crime is promenant in Joburg. But same thing with New York and London, innit.
Besides the obvious great qualities of this show, my favorite thing about it is it doesn’t cater to equality and women empowerment that basically every other show now does. They did such a great job showing off how badass Davis is throughout this entire series without throwing “I’m a strong woman” in our faces the whole time. It’s just such a breath of fresh air
The guys talk about "seeing the cracks" and it being distracting. This happens no matter your background. My background is Mental Health, addiction, and working with serious criminals with these kinds of issues. Thus, when I watch a movie where one of the characters has something like "DID" (multiple personality disorder), it can become difficult if they aren't portraying it realistically. (And I have yet to see DID portrayed realistically.) At the same time, I have watched movies about cops and the military my entire life wondering if such and such is realistic, would that happen? So.....when I discovered FNG's "Beers and breakdowns" I was in heaven because these are the guys who know and they have answers to these questions: Awesome !
FNG, I know you guys don't want to skip ahead, but I know you'd both love episode 15/16 in season four. It's probably going to be triggering, but goddamn that's beyond TV. It’s weird how pluralities like mobs and societies function beyond the control of all the individuals that comprise them. It’s scary what it can make us do almost as if we have no will of our own at times. I saw a video of a crowd of Indians chasing a man eating tiger up a pole, and the guys closest to the top grabbing the tiger, and it took some of them out gruesomely, but the crowd overwhelmed the marauding tiger. It never got to eat anymore of their families, that’s for sure. It was horrifying on many levels. I mean, they were barehanded, zero protection fighting a tiger that enjoys killing humans, like it was the only thing that they existed to do. No hesitation going up that pole after it in a surge of humanity, and no hesitation after a few guys get ripped apart at the top. It was all quick too.
Thank you for awesome Reviews and Hours of Entertainment 👍👍 Your always adv barebell and i was trying to get that hoodie there but cant find it… Any hont where i can get that awesome piece? Cheers
I know you're not a fan, but it'd be great if you could review "The Unit" season 2, episode 17 "Dark of the Moon". They take control of a COP and rearrange the security to protect against attack. As Green Berets this seems like your wheel house. Would love to get your take on it. Nice thing about this episode is it's a stand alone. You don't need to watch or be familiar with previous episodes to watch and understand what's going on.

Ya'll have got to do youtube Fat Mechanic, he narrates America's WW2 Anti-hero true story of Jake Mcniece McNasty, his naration is hilarious, but the true story is unbelievable but actual events, his unit was based on the movie dirty dozen.
Pistols put holes in people, rifles put rounds through people. The stopping power and accuracy of a rifle can't be matched by a pistol. Your weapons system is what's saving your life better to have twice the capacity, accuracy and stopping power if you can
My Ex and son went to Kenya twice for medical surgeries. 12 hour Bus trip from the airport to the town they were staying in. My ex said they had guys with AK-47's on the bus and in the camp where the medical team stays at. Little worried for sure. Never liked this show based off the trailers and few episodes I had watched, I'll have to give it another chance since both of you guys are saying how realistic it is.
My wife gets to sit with my bitching about how unrealistic most shows are when it comes to gunplay. She started watching this with me and was shocked I'm so happen.
You FNG guys need to comment on this friggin' video. I thought it was a fake, but there are numerous news stories out of Montgomery Alabama about it. This kinda big dude was losing his sheit on a sheriff (after causing multiple accidents). The sheriff starts shooting him at close range in the chest, and this Frankenstein MFer keeps walking through it like it's nothing...for about 5 seconds. People think guns are an automatic "off" switch, but they clearly aren't. Some other UA-camr said they needed to work on the "Mozambique Drill" (2 to the body, 1 to the head). That guy could have been all over that Sheriff if he wanted to. Perhaps it was PCP? What are your thoughts Officer Buck? ua-cam.com/video/wLFHMd3LLDM/v-deo.html
David Boreanaz has had an amazing career, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, to Angel, to Bones, and now Seal Team. Unbelievable.

The safety mechanism in the free fall scene you’re talking abt is called cypress
Once you reach season 2 🔥🔥 you will love the part where they are hunting a cartel lord in Mexico

At least one a month and they should do bonus shows on holidays or important military days i.e. June 6th, Dec 7th etc
