They recreated the ancient Egyptian 'judgement of the dead'. Osiris (the green guy) is the god and judge of the dead. The dead man's heart is weighed against the feather of truth. If he's been evil and the feather weighs less than his heart, then Amemit, the crocodile-lion eats his soul. They obviously know their shit. I'm impressed.
Finally a Shokran reaction! I've been obsessed with them since i heard their Exodus album. Their #arabiacore style is so refreshing to hear! They deserve way more attention

Since the release of their last album they are touring everywhere and having nothing but positive feedback, and they're taking the metal world by storm. Definately a big recommandation, and I guarantee you're gonna love their music video "Believer" *wink* which was croudfunded btw!

This is one of the albums that you actually have to hear as a whole, because only then it unfolds its whole force ;) If you haven'T so far, check out their 2012 album Supreme Truth too (although it's slightly worse and they had another vocalist) And if you want to relax while listening to a 100 minute concept album, I really recommend "Odyssey to the west" by Slice the cake, they're pretty similar to Shokran, except for the middle eastern sounds.
