Adjusting the tension of the Dye Rotor Hopper

  • Just a quick video on how to take apart the dye rotor and adjust the tension.
    Turning the screw in will increase the tension needed needed to stop the motor from running, thus increasing the speed of the hopper.

    Thanks for the video.
    Do you know if tightening the gear shortens the life of the rotor?
    Also, what is the rotor capable of feeding at max tension? (In bps)

    if dye could only just lighten up this loader design, and somehow come up with a antijam system, this would be on top of the market. being able to have light tension with the capability of 35-50bps potential makes this the best loading teh ive ever used. i say this because i noticed i never get paint breaks ever since i lightened up the spring tension. the spire 3 and IR i cannot say the same. for whatever reason once in a while i get paint breaks every 500-1200 shots with the spires, probably breach bounce chops, but the rotors amaing capability of keeping a perfect stack and flow of paint prevents this.

      bcove90 rotors are great I have never had a problem with them
