@@huntersfishingadventures5324 we put ours on the table mate.....really nice flavour and a different texture, go for it next time you wont be disappointed.
Them cobia are delicious mate smaller thr better no legal size. Cause they feed mainly on baby sting rays and blue swimmer crabs theyve got this really nice seafood stick x kingy taste to them.
Cobia and other warm water fish are often caught in Eraring hot water. I've caught Threadfin trevally and giant herring in there. Cobia used to be a rare catch at your crab spot under the bridge but i doubt youll see them again.
Caught a tiny cobe on stocko years ago , thought it was a remora at first but once I got a closer look at it cobe it was ! My Mum banned me from making berley when I was a kid - I nearly killed the next door neighbour 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Have you sold your yacht yet Luke ?
Always nice to catch new species. Haha yeah Tuna oil is a pleasure after smelling this stuff 😂. Not yet I need to advertise it might go down this weekend.
@@huntersfishingadventures5324 🤣🤣🤣 Oh its very much a gag fest if you take a big whiff of it. . I use a cheap bunnings bucket. Squeeze into the bucket. add boiling water from a kettle. stir with a stick then add rabbit pellets. mix through with stick. Its really good shit. also take a burley scoop to throw it out. NEVER use your hands.
I have equal success with both, maybe I'm getting lazier 😂. I think it's 50/50 ratio bait fishos to lures fishos so I try to cater to all types of fishing. Your right though I'm due for a lure video 👍
Only my second cobia certainly not a common catch. This was Saturday mate very average day only few boats on the water boat ramp was empty. Thankyou for nit picking 👍
Unreal episode Luke. Kicking off with a Cobe was great to see. They fight good hey!
He went hard for his size on par with kings. Thankyou mate 👍

I was tempted I'm still yet to taste one. I don't think the next one will be so lucky after that write up 🤤

Luke is a true legend when he takes you out.. Throw me a msg if you ever need a deckie again mate.
Excellent UA-cam videos my bro. One question my bro what is the name of the burly I want to buy some. Cheers. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander
Thankyou mate, I catch pure tuna oil was $59 for 4ltrs on eBay. I don't think it's pure oil though very chunky
Awesome video mate you catch squid with ease what’s your trick can’t seem to master it
2.5s with scent, bright colours seem to go best at moment 👍
Fav eating fish cobia
Hi Mr Hunter, what brand fish sludge were you using? I couldn't make out the details in the video. Thanks.
I catch pure tuna oil but it definitely isn't pure 😂 was $59 on eBay
@huntersfishingadventures5324 whoa! I too buy stuff online sight unseen. As they say, buyer beware.
That tuna oil is concentrated and designed to be watered down with boiling hot water. Then mix it in with your burley.
Jesus kitchens worst nightmare, that shit smells so bad I be chucking the pot and stirrer away afterwards 😂🤣

Hahahaha give the lid a good lick for luck luke
I needed you as deckhand 😂🤣
👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣😁
Bwahaha the cat food oil!! 🤢🤮
😂🤣
you seem to be using more baits lately as opposed to lures, would you say bait has more hookups than lures

It's for cooking catch and cook I dare you.😂
Seen them on the south coast before, they're not rare in NSW
It's my second one in 40yrs of fishing certainly not common never heard anyone around my area call them a common catch 😂🤣
Cobia aren't that rare in Lake Macquarie, not that rough, I fished in 20+knot southerly last week and with white caps everywhere several days in a row

@@huntersfishingadventures5324 your welcome
Got a cobia 4kg several years ago while fishing for bream and trevally in Myuna Bay early Sept. On half floating pillie.
