It is an excellent rendition of lathangi, where poorva bhagam kalyani highly energitic notes and second half with suddha daivatham all devotion. This type of raga to be sung with raga bhava and composers devotion in nerval.... takes the lister to the peaks. As the father, like the daughter.🙏... May your life be blessed with this great nadopasana ma which is ultimate.

Lathangi,the 63rf Melakarta ragam; It is the prati madhyamam equivalent of Sarasangi, which is the 27th melakarta. ( It is called Geetapriya or Gitapriya in the Muthuswami Dikshitar school of Carnatic music) is a special n rare one with G3 n N3 and I have listened a wonderful rendition of a song, I think the papanasam Kriti-'venkataramanaa un tiru vilaiyaadalai yaar arivaar' in simple Tamil with ragaalapana by Vivek Moozhikkulam ; Have listened the same and other songs rendered by madurai TNS few years' back. Here Sriranjini's ragaalapana with so much of vibrancy just triggered the past memory! She sang so beautifully in her mellifluous tone and hauled the song into a class layam....The Charanam is so enchanting and is being listened again and again !!! The Vinyaasam/Niraval @ 'krpajesi naa manavaalaginchi'/ Anupallavi line is wonderful..spellbound performance.........no swarakalapana, certainly due to time constraints, I believe. The percussion team did perform no nicely and gave the best support to her! Class recital !
As I keep on listening to this song from alapana till the end of the song presentation every time, I am blessed, Lord Sriman Narayana appears.
