Love how pros can give straight to the point tips in less time than a typical "scratch" UA-cam golfer can get through their intro and over the top explanation.
Neither of you guys need to work together your doing great by yourselves, but it would be nice for us fans to see a collaboration, but what ever happens just keep rockin it!
That fact that you admit your chipping is not the best on tour, shows how real you are. Thank for taking the time to do these videos on your busy schedule
I literally paused the video, went outside with my 56, laid the heel in the grass and popped the ball up so pure. It came out perfect and had a ton of spin. Thank you for making this. I’ve watched 100 videos about pitching/chipping, this one and Phil’s is the most helpful!!
The technique tips out of the rough were unreal. I love the fact that you are one of the only pros to really explain "the secrets". These tips are amazing
Dude I’m busy with my little life. I can’t imagine your schedule. Thank you for carving out some time to make these. I’m a fan and it’s very much appreciated!
I think your the best thing for golf in the last 20 years so keep up the great work. I see nothing controversial about you and think your simply changing the game of golf while we watch. I'd love to see a clip about what hardly anyone knows about teaching in golf, and that's how your hands work through the shot. How much grip pressure on the club. Does the right hand, left hand or both hands work totally together. How does the release work with the right hand? Do you make it happen or let it happen on it's own by just turning fast? Anyhow, your the best and we never miss anything you play in.
agree, he has added excitement to the game, and I enjoy watching him on tour. wish the cameras spent more time on him. frankly, very few give a damn about most of the other players on tour even when they are in the lead. .
Hand release and feels, from listening to all the top pros, varies. Some don't even bring them into the equation. Freddie Couples, all right hand. John Daly all left hand...Jason Day, no hands all body. I think all can work, with a ton of practice
And to add to compexity...what they say one minute and what the do in actuality, God only knows! I say hit the green and evade the need to chip ever haha
Gee, someone that actually understands and knows something about the swing. I think your right as I see Mickelson actually loses contact with his left, our right at the end of the swing. It comes down to push or pull to some degree. thanks@@mattaitken888
I loved this video! No UA-camr/golfer ever does “lessons” while using one-length clubs, which is what I play. It gave me a lot more confidence with my one-length snakebites. Would love to see a “how to hit your one-length clubs” video. I can’t break 85, and would love to see more of this content!
The tips like the ones in the rough and the bunker were great. Keep em coming. I think there's a lot of people that are interested in how you play all these shots and the philosophy around them
Bryson DeChambeau, I'd like to see you play the same hole with different clubs, different shot selection and strategies and then explain why a certain strategy is better over the others under different circumstances.
Bryson: Hits 6 degree driver, "ok on to the next club", - hits 8 degree driver, "ok onto the next club", hits 9 degree driver, "ok guys that for watching tell me what you want to see next" i would love for him to actually do this a troll hardcore golf nerds ahaha
I like that idea. I just can't get past the 1 length clubs. He's the only person using 7 iron length wedges and I really just want to know the benefit of doing that. Yes swing plane won't change be let's be real it is when it comes to these shots.
Love this, FINALLY a tour player engaging properly in content! Would love to see something on grip, how it changes (if) position on handle etc. Keep up the great work 🔥
This was amazing! Can't remember an instructor or player talking about drawing and cutting chip shots. I appreciate Bryson's willingness to open up and give out some great tips on how to play the short game.
I’d love to see videos like this for the rest of the clubs in the bag, irons, woods, putter and driver. This is has been my first summer and fall playing golf regularly and I’ve been trying to replicate your swing to remove variables, so far it’s going well. Keep up the awesome content and keep crushing it on tour
You’re the man Bryson! Caught you after watching you hit some great shots at Southwind and asked for this video. Thanks for being so great to your fans, can’t wait for you to kick Koepka’s ass
Great to see players at your level passing on their thoughts when it comes to practice. It would be nice to learn who the real Bryson is away from the tournament environment. Thanks for sharing.
Right along the same lines I teach my students; right across the board! Anatomically sound and proper use of club and bounce! Great job Bryson and team! Same technique as Jason Day and Steve Stricker too; so you are in great short game company.
This is one of the most open and honest information sessions from a champion golfer that I have seen. I think the super flop requires a very open club with the club a little upright (closer to the ball) then a quick wrist hinge on the take away. Down swing allows the club head to over take the hands to produce a control flick under the ball. Much practice needed to nail it off a tight lie.
Bryson, I see you got a little trickery, flipping the club in your back swing. This was one of the best short game videos I’ve seen in a while…and I love that it wasn’t 30-40 minutes long. Also, I like the idea of a course vlog talking through every shot/situation you find yourself in. I’m sure 18 holes would be a big ask, so maybe just 9-holes. With everyone pulling you in all different directions, it’s really cool that make time to do these videos and even ask us what we want to see.
Just seeing someone with such a good understanding of golf, talk about it and the process their mind goes through before a wedge shot. Thank you Bryson.
I really appreciate how you teach in a way that’s easy for us to get that “aha” moment. Also, thank you for keeping your videos clean. I have three kids and I feel comfortable having them watch your videos as we all work on our game with your help. We are all big fans. Thank you again. GOD Bless you.
More tutorials, please! The grip, the grips, the full swing, checkpoints, putting, variations, feel vs. real, common mistakes, etc. I'll watch that all year!
Thank you for taking the time to produce such an excellent video! As a 4 handicap whose strength is putting and chipping I play with a lot of people that struggle around the greens. My observation is that chipping and bunker play is very stressful for the average mid to high handicap golfer. This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on chipping and bunker play. You explain things very succinctly. You go through the What, How and Why of different shots around the green. You have a talent for teaching and I would love to see more of these types of video from you. Despite your reputation for hitting the long ball a video on putting in particular would also be excellent as you are an outstanding putter. The other skill that really eludes the average golfer is a partial wedge shot, less than full swing yardages. I’m subscribing to your channel with the hope that more videos like this one will be forthcoming.
I love the way you explain the best way youve found to hit shots. Been playing with my friends and starting to really get into golf and watching the Tour
I usually have to speed videos up to 1.5x but for this one I had to slow down and rewind!! Such goooood game in here for us amateurs! THANK YOU BRYSON for this incredibly informative video 🤩
Great video. Thank you so much. I am looking for all of your instructional videos. I have been studying this game for 30 years and read the Golf Machine at least 3 times. Super excited to try all of this!
I'd love more videos like this. Tips from a pro, quick, simple and easy no over analyzing just good and down to earth. I never liked golf or even wanted to play it till I watched you play this summer. I started with a cheap set and now after a few months I'm making progress and I went with cobra for almost all of my clubs. I went with the one lengths and I'm loving them. I had my first few lessons and my instructor was blown away seeing someone use one lengths. During the middle of our lesson he ended up calling a local college's Cobra rep as well as some local players to come and look at them. Man everyone here in the south is fan of yours love the videos keep them coming.
I started golf this year been playing for 5 months now. Love watching it as well. For some reason, I jumped on the hate Bryson train and im glad I have found this UA-cam channel and got to know what this guy is like... Loved watching you at the rider cup and I can't wait for more of your content as well as watching you on tv... As of now, cobra jumped up to my list as well I just picked up one of the new putters today... Keep it up Bryson prove Al tw doubters wrong.
This was great the way you explained it got right through to probably most at least amateur golfers weekend warriors. Thanks Bryson your videos have helped me tremendously this year
This exact type of video content is awesome. Anytime you breakdown your thought process on any shot type is valuable. Too often we amatuer golfers overthink and end up trying to shape a shot in a way that makes no sense. Your processes shave strokes and save us all from the aforementioned issue. I personally try to keep it simple and your insight helps tremendously.
Thank you Bryson!!! I have learned so much from watching your vids. I also, want to say that I have done your challenge from the red tees. And I have to say that it has helped my game tremendously. One other thing, I don't remember the name of the name of the video in which you were explaining to a kid how to practice and being consistent and accurate by challenging yourself with scoring your shots, and boy oh bot, I have dropped 4 strokes in just two weeks. Your lessons are very much appreciated. I'm in san antonio whenever you want to come by brother. Let me know!
I’m learning more from Bryson on this YT videos than any other golf pro UA-camr. Really knows how to resonate with amateurs and articulate fundamentals and the shot science of golf.
Thank you for this video and I agree with whoever posted course vlog because they are my favorite. It allows you to see how to adapt under different circumstances.
Bryson thanks for being so damn real! I’m most interested in learning how you think. I struggle with consistency. Love to know what you read on the mental game, what your swing thoughts are, how you deal with pressure, what you focus on, what the conversations are that go on in your head.
Bryson thanks a million for posting this!! I had to keep rewinding your shots and watched them multiple times!! I like how candid this video is. You are one of my fav pros after Tiger n Phil:) my ideas for new videos is more short game tips. And how Shd an average golfer like me warm up for a round ! Dubai is as it is hot enough. But a basic 15 minutes warm up. Your putting warm up. Do you use the mirror? How you read the greens? and putting techniques.
Thank you for making the videos. It’s so great for amateurs to learn from one of the best players in the world. Good luck in your season and bring home the green jacket next year
man breaking down all aspects of your practice would be awesome. The simplicity of this video really helps a new golfer like me and showing each ball lie helps so much too. Not many people show all the ball lies.
Great video!! just started golfing a little over a year ago an instantly adopted your methods (single length irons, single plane, jumbomax grips) just makes the most sense for consistency. would love to see similar videos for driver, woods/hybrids and irons. I know consistency with driver is a big one and just trying to make good connection every time, while adding speed. Then hitting irons in different situation (off tee, off fairway, rough, up/down hill, sand). Love your content and love what you're bringing to the game of golf!
My apologies on the comment 2 years later. Just started watching your first episodes after your newest video with Phil. I loved watching this training with Bryson. I learned more in 10 minutes than I have in the last year.
man keep doing you!! Love your attitude. Dont change for anyone. Would love a complete series tailored to the week golfer with tips how to lower our score. And or tips on good practice tips. ETC thanks and God bless!! Happy Thanksgiving Bryson!!!
Love to see tutorial on iron game. Hitting it pure, spin control, hitting it with loft, keeping it low etc.. Appreciate it! Look forward to seeing more videos.
Hung on every word! This is an area I do not have a lot of practice with and want to get better. Great content!! I usually love your dude energy just hanging around the house/workout videos but this one is def a new fav!!!!!
Have always been fascinated by your approach to reading greens and the amount of thought you put towards it. Would love to get a deeper insight into that !! Love the vids man
***Love to see Some*** escape shots*** from bad/terrible lies. Under trees, plugged lies, high grass… Using the heel more in the wedge game was a great tip, thank you!
Dear Bryson, Loved the video. Really want to understand the science of putting golf balls. Buying the book this weekend. Please keep putting information coming. Distance control and slope gradient etc. Thank you for sharing.
Like what you are doing and how you do it. Keep showing the simple techniques of all parts of the game including putting and equipmrnt for people who just love to play golf.
Bryson you are awesome! I have been working on my short game forever. Can you elaborate on the stance and alignment and take away as in cutting or inside to draw the ball for the run? I found I had to weaken my grip to get the face to stay square in the chipping, but the left shoulder and straight arm is the key as you have shown. Very helpful... thank you from all of us. Also, thanks for making golf more exciting in the post Tiger era. BTW I am a big fan and reader of the Hogan mystique. I also note for example you appear to play the ball when chipping off your back foot as we all did in the olden days. Great success to you!
Awesome video!!!👍💪 As an amateur that was very informative to me. The bunker tips really hit home with me. 1. I’d like hear your thoughts on equipment (swingweight, shaft pureing, balanced golf balls (saltwater test) , etc….) 2. id like too see more detail about speed training and any new ideas you’ve come across. 3. More detail about your putting.
Drop some video ideas here! Would love to know what you all want to see from me.
Just keep being you and doing stuff like this. Thanks for the bunker tips I learned something new and appreciate you sharing.
Friendship in the tournament?
It would be interesting to get a pro class on how you read greens!
Love the video bro, would love to hear your tips/process on how you read slope and judge speed of greens
Something like a step by step on how to hit bombs and bulk up would be great
Bryson, you should do a course vlog and talk about your thinking behind every shot

Appreciate it my man!!
Rick Shiels and Bryson Dechambeau Crossover 🤔🤔
Neither of you guys need to work together your doing great by yourselves, but it would be nice for us fans to see a collaboration, but what ever happens just keep rockin it!
I saw somone with a rick mask on tonight 😉

Aren't you dead?
Better than Phil’s method imo. That messed me up for a year. This one bring me back to what I do naturally and fine tunes it.
The technique tips out of the rough were unreal. I love the fact that you are one of the only pros to really explain "the secrets". These tips are amazing
Bryson, thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to create this golf channel. Any advice you gives us is priceless.
Dude I’m busy with my little life. I can’t imagine your schedule. Thank you for carving out some time to make these. I’m a fan and it’s very much appreciated!
Agreed. He's doing this as a public service. Very appreciated.
I love Bryson but this is also his work lol. It’s content. Amazing and helpful and much appreciated content but he will make money off of it lol.
Love this tutorial. It's rare to get instruction that feels this personable and relatable from Tour pros. Keep up the good work, Bryson!

You're a fine teacher! No BS. Just the facts. Can you talk about controlling distance with wedges @ 80-130 yards (longer for you).
This was fantastic! Been following closely for about a year now, and have been applying some of these techniques. The man is on to something.
Love to see more short game and scoring shots. Please keep it simple for us amateurs.
Another week in the life video, training, feeding, tour backstage. Congrats, great channel, Bryson
I think it is great that you do the videos, I truly enjoy them and I enjoy watching your success on the tour.

I absolutely love this series. Exactly what I want to see. Want to see a putting practice!
One of the best bunker lessons I’ve ever seen! Love this!

Awesome video!!!👍💪 As an amateur that was very informative to me. The bunker tips really hit home with me.
1. I’d like hear your thoughts on equipment (swingweight, shaft pureing, balanced golf balls (saltwater test) , etc….)
2. id like too see more detail about speed training and any new ideas you’ve come across.
3. More detail about your putting.
