Y’all did a GREAT job! The only criticism I would have is to investigate together. Especially in an old house that has those floors cause u could hear the girls upstairs when the guys were downstairs a couple times. To keep the contamination down, next time don’t split up. Instead, send in different people to investigate different parts of the house alone or send in 2 ppl together to investigate one room at a time. But for your first residential investigation, y’all KILLED it.......pun intended lol! Wtg!!

I’ve experienced the smoke alarm in the bedroom at night. It only went off once and when I sat up in bed there was a fog settled at the top of the room. I thought I was going crazy. It’s nice to hear such a similar story.

Construction on haunted houses always makes paranormal activities get more and more intense
I helped do construction on a home from the 1800s in Cavendish, VT and upon breaking into a cavity around the chimney we found old shoes,etc so old they felt like iron. As soon as we did that we had major poltergeist activity, it was so bad we put everything back and nailed it shut. Things promptly calmed down but I heard the new owners have had a lot of trbl.

I’m trained in interviewing techniques. All of these paranormal investigators need to learn how to ask the right kind of questions. For example, when they ask “Can you tell me your name?” it implies ability. The ghost/entity could simply reply “yes.” As it allegedly takes a lot of energy to communicate, the investigators need to ask the questions that actually get the information they are seeking, for example “Tell me your name.” The simple act of leaving off the “can you,” changes this question immeasurably. Another example, “Did you die in this house?” If the ghost answers “no” (or even “yes”) you need to prompt for more specific information. Simply ask “Where did you die?”
TL;DR don’t ask yes/no questions when you will have to follow up with more questions.

I watch a lot of paranormal videos and it seems like most spirit activity ramps up at around 3 am.
THAT IS SO FUNNY THE SPIRIT SAID TO THE LIVING MAN HES CUTE.

Concerning the clips at the end: We can rule out cats and dogs as all animals were removed from the home for the purpose of the investigation. Also, no animal droppings were ever found in the room and the owners even had an exterminator come in after we discovered the noises. He found no evidence of any mice or rats.

I think, because I felt this way lol, the spirits were frustrated because you stopped using the spirit box. Why? You were getting answers so much! Then it was like a noise was heard and you stopped. Did the homeowners get freaked out? Why would you stop when the communication was so great! I think the woman ghost was getting cheeky and fresh when she said 9:12 "He's cute" then the male spirit was getting fresh when he said 11:19 "In the bed" and then 11:30 "That's it woman!" rofl. I have a very sneaking suspicion he did NOT die in the bed or was saying he did to tease her. Too funny! But man... more spirit box was needed. Those clicks and bangs were eerie at the end. Doors opening and shutting could be portals. I wonder if a spirit was trapped there for whatever reason and another was going in and out trying to coax them back into the light. (Been binge watching Rescue Mediums) check that show out!!! Great video! And you guys are cute! rofl!

I used to live in a house where when we were all in the living room we all used to hear a loud crash like a shelf had collapsed. It happened a dozen or more times but nothing had ever moved.....weird. We also had many things disappear only to reappear a few hours later. There were 5 of us and we all experienced it.

Real estate agents are obligated by laws in their state to disclose any potential of haunted activity, any murders suicides or suspicious deaths in or on a property to all potential buyers. If their real estate agent did not do that and the listing agent did not share this information that clearly even the neighbors know then those two agents are liable
Is that a nation-wide law in the U.S? Or is it state by state?

I grew up spending time in a house on the Oregon coast, haunted by the original owner. I had another set of experiences in college. In the late ‘70’s I started investigating with 4 of my friends. So I activated investigated from 1979-2013. I am now disabled, and can no longer go on investigations. I still research, and analyst video a audio recordings. I really enjoyed your still, but what made me sub was your genuine reactions. I look forward to catching up on all your past vids, and new ones to come.

I watched Part 2 first and couldn’t believe what a beautiful house. When they are old and rebuilt or remodeled it always seems to stir spirits up. I’m going to watch this now.

I find it very hard to believe in a Southern state, like South Carolina, they know nothing of the homes history. Southerners know the history of EVERY PLACE in their town.
Funny you should mention this, we just got word that the tax office cannot find any records before 1980, just like us. They even said how strange it is that they can’t find anything. We’re telling the truth. The history of this home has been erased for some reason.

What you just have to do now is find that little towns older aged gossip/busy body/town historian (in Southern small communities and towns, they are all one in the same). They WILL absolutely know the history of the house/land/ families that owned it, last lived there, probably who even built that house. This is just to damn interesting!! I'm hooked for sure! Please, keep us informed, and be careful! There is some kind of powerful darkness that is able to "mask" information. Sage yourself, and do cleansing rituals!

I really feel like they have a combination of a residual haunting and something that is attached to something they brought in to the house. I noticed some ornate wooden masks. Did they go to Africa or the Amazon?
My thought too, when they first looked into the house the wooden mask caught my eye too, and my thought was, are you serious. This mask should not be there. Normally I Iook at masks and think nothing of it but this one should go for sure.
I felt the exact same when I saw that mask.
Those masks can be very dangerous with attached spirits. Get rid of them!

Hiding in closet, not giving a name, making you chase it, making many sound during night...not good signs..
Don't be afraid, just be smart and get a removal, for the safety of children and health.

There are some demonic tell signs with the 3:00am waking up.. And the repeated fire of the fire alarm, three times. These spirits can lye about who they really are and play roles. This is a dangerous game. They could bring the entity back home with them.
When I meet a psychic who has won the lottery or one who has invested really well, I’ll believe in psychics. So far I’ve only met broke psychics, most divorced. If they could actually see the future, how didn’t they see that they would end up divorced or broke? Nostradamus is the only one whose actually predicted future events and he even got many predictions wrong. Even a broken clock ends up being right twice a day

Sound 16:40 maybe when she asks how many ghosts are here? I don't think it's a huff I pretty sure it's saying ONE BUT it's whispering it or that's just how the recorder is picking it up. I'm listening thru very good and loud earbuds and I hear everything and it's what it sounds like to me.
I've never heard a portal/ghost box with so much echoing feedback. I'm curious why you chose that device? Seems there are others that are a bit clearer.
We built the device using the same parts that all the other portals use. They sound different according to how much reverb and white noise you use each session.
A few things leave me skeptical. First of all , I know ghosts exist for I have encountered one. But good grief for an investigator to say I am freaked out makes you wonder about your experience in doing so. Also ask your questions THEN be quiet , have respect. Spirits need energy to respond.
Investigators do get freaked out too.
This is only their second ever episode on this channel, so they’re learning as they go and juggling new balls. Having watched more recent stuff I like them so far. No one is perfectly, robotically, calm all the time, it’s exciting at times, tedious and frustrating at others.

Even if this was their 100th encounter, I believe that the adrenaline rush would still continue with each investigation.
Moderately haunted is how I would describe this. Nothing extreme jumping out but a few different subtle to moderate incidents that let you know they are there. I dont consider the silverware to be extreme, it was just startling, but non-the-less, considering everyone was a room away, I would consider that likely paranormal. The clips at the end show moderate audiable paranormal activity takes place. If I had to guess, I would assume it's a mix of residual and intelligent. I didnt hear anything that gave me red flags (seems like spirits who just liked their home).
Does the spirit box only work if the lights are out? :). "That was real clear, whatever it said"! Lol
It works any time of the day. We had amazing results using the portal.
The clips at the end were freaking scary.
Spooktaclar investigation ... really felt this one as we had a recent similar experiences on an investigation.
All in all, you can make that «spirit voice box» say anything you WANT to hear or anything you THINK you hear. It’s like looking at the clouds and seeing shapes of dogs, fish or whatever else.
That’s why we don’t like to tag everything we hear because everyone hears things different. The responses we respond to are definitely what’s being said. And most people don’t realize that it sounds much different in person than when we play it back

At eleven forty eight there was a light anomaly in the doorway to the right of Jessica. Three or so lights went from center of doorway up and it did this twice. Enjoyed both videos pertaining to this particular home. Should look into the true history of the home and tell the whole story, that would make for a great video!

Just when I almost gave up on paranormal videos due to being totally gutted that they are being proved to be fake I found yous so I'm happy. I think it is so unfair to do this as so many people refuse to believe in the paranormal and people work hard like yourselfs to give us proof then others just con us after all the views and time we spent watching them to only then find out they are not legit is pretty soul destroying. All my grandma and grandpa is a Christian pastors. All of my family except me. They didn't believe in ghosts, spirit and paranormal activity but me I believe it because I saw it and experiencing it. They called me a freak.

You guys have a better sounding spirit voice box. The other paranormal investigators are using the loud-scanning one, which is so annoyingly loud that in most cases you can't really hear anything intelligible out of it.

Great response from spirits. I don't know why folks are so disillusioned into thinking spirits are always creepy or evil. All energy cannot be destroyed and as we too are energy and in between lives we too are non physical spirits. Maybe these are ancestors of the family they are not yet aware of. Or previous members of the household, who's spirits could be in visitation,trapped or in the case of the closet door, it could be residual energy. Hope the family get to the NotToday of this,especially when they gave younger members afraid in certain rooms.
To me at 10:08 when you are asking the womans name i hear "Bertha" then again in the same voice at 10:20 i kinda hear "Bertha" again. Is that a common name for that area?
That's funny because I heard "Hertha" German name. Bertha also a German name, my grandmother was "Bertha".

Regarding that ghostbox, after we heard that female message states that she's here, you guys started asking for the "lady." you guys should know just cause you hear a ladies voice, doesn't mean you're speaking to a female spirit. since you guys use it all the time, you should be aware by now about how it works. They are manipulating voices in radio waves to speak reply messages to you. whatever voice they are able to find, are the ones you use. not sure why y'all wouldn't know that? that's like Ghostbox 101. lol

I want to know what that rustling was in the overnight clips. It sounded like something was rustling in the trash, maybe they have cats/dogs that got into it. Very good video and I think some good proof overnight. I think timestamps would be helpful with the overnight clips.
Emily Gately thanks for your feedback! They made sure all the animals were gone for the episode. They also had an exterminator come in afterwards and he found nothing. It is something moving around in the children’s bedroom but we have no idea what.

11:43 it is a bit separated but a male voice says "Bring it....forward." Then 11:49 another spirit answered that one and said "Ok" . neat!!! They were talking amongst themselves probably bringing spirits forward to talk. Check out Hope Paranormal. I'm so used to hearing how they work now. rofl.
We know, we have gotten the "too much talking" comment time and time again. If you’ve come here to comment about it, don’t bother, it will be removed. This was one of the first episodes I (India) did and the first residential we’ve done. We weren’t acting for the camera we just documenting living in the emotions of the moment. If that annoys you, I apologize. We have learned to talk less for future episodes.
I don't think you talk too much, its part of investigating and as you say its whats happening in the moment, that is what makes your videos so real and genuine, no stupid music, flashing lights and images of actors dressed up, paranormal activity is not theatrical and should not be portrayed as such, thank you for keeping it real.

I'm confused after watching the second video as well why no one has done any serious digging into the history of the house. If there was a death there, it's typically recorded in the house's history from some simple digging at the local courthouse or historical society. Also, how many people lived in the house.
We are trying. It’s not easy. The town it’s in had a different name at the time it was built so it’s proving rather difficult to find records.

. No offense but, old historical houses are way cool. Y'all at Paranormal Encounters should investigate Utah,,around a place called Kay's Hollow. I understand that it's actually illegal to go inside there at night. Also, if, and/or when that happens, I envy you folks. I used to, informally investigate certain sites in Missouri. I Really miss doing that. Call me weird, but I enjoyed doing that
