Love listening to you and watching is such a special treat. Please Chelsea just keep being you - you add so much freshness to our lives! Can’t wait for the next fabric line reveal!
Getting audiobooks from the library and putting them on while I'm doing piecing or quilting REALLY pumps up my reading per year. And as a trained librarian, remember, audiobooks definitely "count" as reading!
erica arndt has bloopers she shares and it cracks me up. i would love the outtakes/bloopers. I appreciate the sharing of your goals. very inspiring and i need to revise my goals and be MORE INTENTIONAL-thank you Chelz.
I LOVE Beachfront The colors the prints and the quilting are all so awesome together. I've been in a four month lull lately. I think this quilt might just bring me out of it.. Thanks so much for sharing it.
I'm a beginner quilter and am loving your podcast and youtube videos. You inspired me to set up some quilting goals for the year. Chelsi, if you have already heard of the Miracle Morning its an amazing story and an inspiration for creating a morning ritual!
Good Evening Sherri , Chelsi and Billy, What fun this show was, I kept smiling all throughout your discussion. You all did really well at achieving your goals. Way to Go! I found that so inspiring. Thank you for sharing, it really gives me directions for my quilt journey and how I can make improvements to reach my goals. Again, thank you for sharing, 🥰 Chris
Ok y’all this was outstanding! Keep up the great work, it’s amazing what we can accomplish when we set our minds to it 👏👏👏 Thank you all sooooo much for the encouragement and inspiration! That also means your peeps that post as we can all learn from and help each other❤️😀
Hello! I hope you had a cheerful day! I was visiting my grandkids and all 3 of them tired me out in a happy way! I hope you have a gentle and kind week ahead! Thank you for sharing your video and your talent.
I have been doing the 10 day challenge and it is helping me to not only quilt everyday but working on sorting my scraps. I didn’t realize I had so many things I can cue right now!
Fall Quilt... Thank you so much for doing this... FAll is one of my favorite seasons, espeically for quilts, table runners, place mats, as it reminds me of family getting together for Thanksgiving. And now days we all Need to give thanks more . It's so refresheing to get away from christmas stuff everywhere (which is to commercialized for me) and halloween, which is on the dark side... and we have way to much bad in teh world as it is... I LOVE FAll, Thankgsiving, and all things that bring joy and great memories, crisp clean air, and cuddling in blankets in front of a fire.... Thanks so very much Chelsi. and how about some log cabins with leaves..... : ) hint hint..
The Quilted Forest in Forest City Iowa does a similar "wips" system by listing projects to do and numbering them & picking a number to work on. It really makes sense!
You can set up an Ipad or laptop stand and watch podcasts, videos, etc. while you're on the treadmill. My daughter turns on the fan to make it even cooler and she sings while she's listening to music, It's actually pretty comical.
I think taking apart a new quilters quilt is such a sad thing to do. Fixing a blatant mistake is one thing but the other imperfections are part of the journey. I can look at my first quilt and one I've done recently and see the growth I've made and it makes me happy.
I noticed that you have been blogging more, Chelsi. When I first found this pod cast I looked up both of your blogs to subscribe. I am glad you are blogging more.
Oh my goodness - new fabric line - I LITERALLY cannot wait; super excited!!! It's going to be a LONG 2 weeks boo. Love hearing about mid-year goal reviews - it sets the tone for me to actually set goals at the beginning of the year and get into the tracking habit; maybe next year I'll actually set goals at the beginning of the year lol - and who doesn't love a pretty printable? You're an awesome group and I'm always left feeling refreshed, renewed, and refocused at the end of each podcast - thank you!
Thank you all for another great podcast!! Thanks for the inspiration for getting my WIPS finished!! It’s seems so hard to spend that precious time to work on something old (kinda)!! Looking forward to the next podcast already!!
I put all my otter stuff I’ve collected in a binder with a page listing them in front and I pick a number and that is the next one I do. Lol. As I buy them I add them. I now have two full binders. I do the same with kits that are in totes I made a list of them. I do a pattern then a kit. :)
Chelsi ~ You are more than welcome to send me one of your WIPs! I’d be happy to finish any quilt you have started! I love all your patterns and fabrics! Also, I look forward to hearing about the new fabrics on the next episode!! 🙂
I’m currently working on “Magnolia “ while watching/listening today. I’m sewing up all the triangles to use in a different project. After your show about goals, I have been doing so much better with a sewing routine. Thank you for talking about having different types of goals! (Game changer!) Chelsi, I LOVE 💕 💕 your Magnolia pattern!!!!!! It’s coming together so quickly.
Hello ladies & Billy - This is probably off topic but, I am making my first flannel layer cake quilt. I am putting it together while listening to you all. I watched your tutorial, Sherri. Thank you for this. The only social media I do is UA-cam so photos would be nice to see on your podcast. I love reading I always have. I am a one book person! ;0) I love the t-shirts. Talk soon
Sherri, the first quilt on the ladder behind you what is the name of the pattern please? Chelsi, your Beachfront quilt is lovely. The fabrics are real summery.
Hi from NZ, watching on replay. Love it as always. Thought for Chelsi on her WIP's - pick one & set the timer & work on it, even if it's only 10 mins at a time. Of course you can work longer lol.
So enjoying your video. My eye keeps wondering begind Sherri to the 2 quilts on the ladder. LOVE them! Could you tell me the pattern names and the fabric lines used in making them?
I'm interested in those quilts too, but I don't think Sherri & Chelsi answers viewers question. I asked them about patterns before but never received a reply. Sad really as people like us help their business grow.
I'm so excited to see your next collection but also waiting patiently for my Emma fabric to come. I think I have most of your collections and just ordered more patterns last nignt. How fun!!
Im always thankful to gwt to watch this live. It iz so sweet to watch mother and daughter and son working so nice together. I enjoy your family business and how you all have lots of memories that you make during these along with so much information And tips. I always need info and tips. Im still kearning even after a few years I feel like im learning to slow but eventually I will catch up I hope
I’m so glad you mentioned the Facebook post. I have been waiting a while to be let in but it still say membership pending. Hopefully someone will let me in soon.😊
I also like to walk & ride my bike for exercise. And, I live in central Florida where it is hot and humid. I found walking exercises on UA-cam, and love the walking videos by Get Fit with Rick. You should check them out before buying a treadmill. He has over 2 years worth of videos with step counts from 1000 to 10,000 steps. Also these videos have a large selection of music preference. Guaranteed to start your day with a smile
Chelsi , girl same with the wips. Can I challenge you to do one ? just one and I will do one, maybe my boyfriends quilt I have been working on for 3 years🙈🙈🙈,lol. But I do have a few others as well. Here’s the challenge Our deadline can be end of August? Whoever fails has to buy the other coffee?? I’m so far away it would be a gift card in the mail but you get the idea . And if we both win and finish , then maybe we do it again , sometime ?? R you in??
My Guild has a yearly UFO Challenge that is similar to what your friends do. We pick 5 UFO projects and number them. To sweeten the Challenge, you put $50 in the pot, $10 for each project. A number is drawn and you have 2 months to finish it. Finish the project to get your $10 back + a ticket to win the unfinished pot at the end of the year. I won this year's pot: $160! A second ticket was drawn for a matching amount gift certificate from our local quilt shop donated by one of our Guild members.
I have a few thoughts and questions! I listen to your podcast during my walk (I’m in Phoenix and yes it’s hot even at 630!). Then I come home and watch the you tube video while I eat breakfast! I just love your stuff. Chelsi, maybe your daughter would like a pillow or something from you WIP box! Billy, would you link your video? I saw the pillowcase video and have been waiting for the next one. I must have missed it somehow! I can’t wait to see your new line but I’m still waiting for my Emma order to ship!
Just curious, when you guys are working on multiple projects at the same time do you work on one project a one day and project b the next or run them all together?
I'm like Judy Thompson who posted 3 hours ago. She said, "I’m so glad you mentioned the Facebook post. I have been waiting a while to be let in but it still saw membership pending. Hopefully someone will let me in soon.😊" Please, Let me in your facebook posts too. I don't do instagram! - Vicki Young
Hey Chelsea you could have kept the shelves empty and been like, "want to know why these shelves are bare? I have cleaned up those shelves for a new line coming soon." like a teaser vid. Im sure it would get a good buzz.
Hello everyone , i have a question : If i want to write something to Chelsi how i contact her? I don't want everyone see it , just some personal stuff . Can you guys help? Thank you so much .
Absolutely love how we all are so different and unique! I think this is one of the reasons why soooo many people quilt as there are so many choices of fabrics, projects, (paper piece, hand, Hawaiian, etc). And I just want to add, that we have four boys and my favorite ages with each of them were their Teen years. Three of which now have grandchildren of their own.
Love listening to you and watching is such a special treat. Please Chelsea just keep being you - you add so much freshness to our lives! Can’t wait for the next fabric line reveal!

Country Threads chicken Scratch in Garner, Iowa also does it.
As always what a great podcast. I love the 10 day quilt challenge. I think it is a good way to get the sewing juices flowing. Thank you. ❤️❤️
Love all of your podcasts
Sherri, you mentioned an upcoming log cabin and I’m hoping I didn’t miss it. Love your podcasts!

I am keeping up with the ten day challenge, making a block each day. Thanks for the motivation!

What a motivational reminder idea. Thanks for sharing.

Try water walking! I go to an indoor pool that is used for lap swimming and water walking. Three times a week, 50 minutes, 2 miles. I really enjoy it.

this
is off subject but have you thought about offering a small planner book again. The big one is hard to tote around
Chelsea, see if your daughter likes one of your WIPs and teach her!
I thought maybe that's where the conversation was going! Yes, since they may not be Chelsi's style now, Harper might love one!
Hey Chelsea you could have kept the shelves empty and been like, "want to know why these shelves are bare? I have cleaned up those shelves for a new line coming soon." like a teaser vid. Im sure it would get a good buzz.
Chelsie do you have your one you tube videos?.
Hello everyone , i have a question : If i want to write something to Chelsi how i contact her? I don't want everyone see it , just some personal stuff . Can you guys help? Thank you so much .
I’m dating myself here, but what is “blogging “?
Why are new fabric collections so "secretive?"
My name is Delepha Agee and I started your challenge and I've did started doing the BH Block 1
Chelsea enjoy the time when your children are at school. They will soon be teenagers.. uggh
