Hey, thanks for the video. I've already got one of these running in my house and does a good job, do you know if it's possible to run another one alongside it? For example to a loft bedroom? Thanks
Why does my Wifi extender EX2700 randomly turn itself off? Power and WPS lights stay on, it is the Router and / or the Deivice light on the router turn off randomly.
won't accept any my password i entered so many times, just kick me back to the same input password page, and it says time limit wrong password entered.
I'm glad you clarified that this range extender only extends the 2.5 G signal. That's what I need for getting a dependable connection with our Traeger wood pellet grill that sits outside our house. It can only use the 2.4 G signal, so this device does what I need. What you did not explain is whether this device shows up as a new wifi channel or whether it only makes the original wifi signal stronger. In other words, when connecting the grill that has been working with the weaker 2.5 G signal from my router, will the same channel ID be used, or do I need to reconnect to a different channel ID? I think it only extends the existing channel, which is the ideal case.
Hi! I am from Canada and am using a router from my provider. What if I do not have a WPS button on my router? What would I need to do to get it connected?
Hi there. So one question I have. Do you end up with a separate user name and password depending if you are connected directly to your router or to the extender? Or does one login seamlessly connect to either wifi signal.
Will this work in my camper hooking up to campground wifi? I spend my time 50/50 between home and work and I stay in a camper when I'm working. Signal sucks in the camper. Outside its pretty good.
Depends how good the campground wifi is - and whether you have access to that password. But yes. Bear in mind that the signal will be 2.4 ghz - so quality will depend on what you use internet for.
Video describes how to connect Extension device to router, but not how to connect phone/computer to Extension. To connect your computer to the Extension, I had to click "connect' on the Extension network (enter password instructions come up, but ignore this), and then push the WPS button on the Extension device. Then mine connected. I first read the PIN off the back of the Extension device, but this PIN did not work. WPS button was only way. Hope this helps.
You just find the new extension in your WiFi list on your device... It'll be same as your existing hub but with EXT at end. Connect to that with same password. Simple
When the exter light flashes ie the wps on mine alomg with the hub afterr a while the wap on my internet nox stops flashing and the light on my extender goes of it isnt stayimg on with a solid light like it does withbyours am i doing something wrong pls pls can u help me as im getting frustrated with mine now.
Yes that was very helpful, tried this extender on my old super hub 1 no chance seems it requires an ethernet cable i think? now installed a super hub 3 will give it another try.
I can't tell you how many times I have both green lights on my range extender but my Wi-Fi will go out, it might be a bandwidth issue idk I need to look at a video where someone takes the model I have a part cuz I'm going to try to rig up a old radio antenna to make the antennas bigger and maybe I will get better service. My father-in-law lives next door and he has his router inside of a wooden entertainment system then there is a building with a metal roof in between my house and his house so the Wi-Fi signal has to travel through all of that I know it sounds crazy but wood can mess up your Wi-Fi connection
Hi I wonder if you could help me I've got one of them smart doorbells what works on 2.5g. But keep on disconnecting from my Netgear extender what do you think it could be? Cheers

It would have nice to see the signal in your daughter room before the Ex2700 plug in and after it was plug in, I have the same unit and like your self ,live in a three bedroom house but it was not that great, It did boost the signal but not enough to call it a good signal.

In an ideal scenario you should hardwire directly to get best out of Stadia. If you do have to use WiFi then best use 5ghz. These extenders transmit at 2.4ghz . They'll work with Stadia, but not the best option. However, if your connection is pretty solid on your existing WiFi in other places of the house, it should be ok.

does this work for gaming systems Xbox/PlayStation
