I know this is really old please help me, I took my reel apart to fix my spool tension knob, fixed the knob now my button to cast keeps slipping when I disengage it by reeling it and then I have to open it to reset it and it works until I put it all back together and try to use it. It’s a cs400
Hello, I have a Corsair 400A and this is my problem…. When I push down on the thumb bar, it snaps into position about 80% of the time, just like it should. The spool goes into free spool and all is well. The other 20% of the time, I feel resistance about halfway down. The thumb bar then springs back up, not allowing the line to release off the reel. Any ideas? Many thanks, Steve
Hei Steve. sorry for the late reply. what you describe I have not experienced personally so it is difficult for me to come up with a solution without having opened it to see for myself. perhaps it is solved only by a cleaning and lubrication, may also be some parts that are starting to wear out. I hope you find a solution to this problem. I’m sorry that I can’t be of more help.
Great video I watched the whole thing I have a 301A A lot of small parts Still afraid to open it up all the way Maybe I'll have to watch again
Obrigado por essa aula, muito bem explicado nos mínimos detalhes...
Great job with small pauses between parts, slower and more deliberate movements to highlight what is being done.
