real talk lng, kung sa employment lng ang income. There is very little, if at all, n makaipon during the first few years if you hv mortgage. I started saving for my 2 kids' univ education with RESP. Looking back, i would still buy RESP then TFSA and once your iindividual income exceeds 65k per annum, buy RRSP to lower your tax. Try to save 20% for the house downpayment to avoid mortgage insurance which is a MUST if your dpwnpayment is less than 20%.. Now that i am retired, i realized that the best combinations of investments (in my situation) is to maximized TFSA, to have maximum 300k in RRSP assuming you also have LIRA to maximized the benefits we can get from the govt like OAS and GIS.

Kami naman po awa ni Lord d kami nahirapan sa pag aaral ng mga anak namin sa university,nag ipon po kami thru Canada saving bond na available sa work namin ,ng mag university nag student loan po sila at yong pera para sa pag aaral nila inilagay sa term deposit na me good interest dahil yong student loan nila para sa pag aaral nila no interest hanggang makatapos ,ng makatapos sila kinuha nila yong money nila na naka term at binayaran nila yong loan pero kanila yong interest dahil walang interest yong student loan nila plus mga nag part time sila pag off school kaya me sobra pa yong money for school

Other way to save is pay with debit card as much as you can instead of hard cash otherwise you will end up with many barya. Also dnt be ashamed to use coupons or vouchers. Also park some of your savings on land or "land banking" .. bili kayo mga cheap lots or farm lot sa pinas .
It’s good to pay with debit card but make sure you also use credit card and be responsible in paying it on time. This will help you build your credit score which is very important in Canada.

Honestly, not that easy. You have to be patient in applying for jobs.
