You should feature the Kampung Sembulan water village. It is dirty, rundown and dilapidated, it is right opposite the famous Sutera Avenue complex. All tourist who stayed there get to see the famous water village that is worst than Gaza. Our state government and local council also lack the funding required to initiate any meaningful long term urban planning , gentrification and resouce managament. We are also plague with illlegal migrant issues.😢😂

This area has huge potential, yet our goverment and council failed to implement proper urban planning and resource management . This is mainly due to lack of state funding when majority of our state resources has gone to the federal government. If you travel further down the road named Jalan Sembulan, you can see the infamous water village call Kampung Sembulan. It is right opposite the famous Sutera Avenue complex, which is a famous tourist destinations and hoteliers. The whole villages is run down, full of rubbish and dilapidated. This is the first impression we give our tourists. It has been widely featured in Chinese, Taiwanese and Japanese youtuber Channel. Our new mayor and government seems not to care as always.

I hope City Hall will relocate and clean all the slums across the river...it tarnished the beauty of Kota Kinabalu especially the Sembulan River. 😢
