Remember first time playing this and how I was stunned by that falling Stuka set on flames. At that time, the sound, immersion and music were just perfect. They still are upon this day. Every time I replay those great missions, I wish we had a good quality remaster with cutscenes and perhaps even extended gameplay.
I hope I can forget all about COD1 and CODUO, so I can enjoy them for the first time again. Few games can bring me the same feeling like I felt when I played this mission or the B-17 mission
brings back so many memories ( good ones ) of how call of duty tried to make there games as intense as possible and with good missions....especially the mission in Sicily when you destroy those gun emplacements ( they got the idea from the guns of navarone i think? )........anyway nice videos...iv'e looked at them all ind they make me wana install the game again ;) thanks for the video :D
THE ONE AND ONLY KERMIT I like too how the new call of duty's have that whole stating the obvious shit like "check those corners!" -bitch we been checkin corners since Call of Duty the original- Just rehash the same shit over and over again no innovation, no balls, no imagination.
+Troy Baker Well in all honesty, the classic Call of Dutys did take a good amount of ideas for levels from movies, but the level design was amazing despite this.
back when COD was good. funnily enough I still have this on a copied disk...somewhere. anyone remember those gold discs from early 2000? I had to have my uncle copy onto those. that or a no cd. we didn't have any other way back then. now you have steam. but to me, steam was foreign. then came half life 2... ah memories
Can't remember how I got through the whole Russian campaign. If nothing else it gave me huge respect to the iron will of the people who actually fought, lived (or died) in this horrible meat grinder of a war to defeat tyranny.
Communists were just as bad as nazis. However, the Russian people still paid the highest blood price against Hitler, and they deserve the credit for that.

The Stuka crash at 7:44 was done so well, especially for a game back then
11:16 switching to your pistol is more faster than reloading.

7:59 true
I highly doubt a pack of TNT could lay a scratch on one of those elephant tanks.
No comrade he is using Stalin mode
Wait is that Vassili the one you play as in call of duty 2? It would be awesome if it is so
Siege at kursk was easy. But the assault in kharkov is very hard
Why haven't I ever heard about these DLCs or the fact that call of duty even had DLCs
@Long live Old Europe nope united offensive is 100% an expansion pack for the first cod
Why do you people insist on calling expansion packs DLC like the term is synonymous?
How to take more bullets for pssh gun that kept in that box, even the op didn't take all
how to download???
