Very nice ride with great scenery. Love the trestles. Going to take a lot of time & money to fix the Creeper from Damascus to Whitetop especially with winter setting. Whitetop may get 4 to 6in of snow Thursday thru Saturday morning. Thanks for your time. 🙏👍
Glad to see this video broadcast to your audience. All the more attention right now, the better. Loved the drone shots giving a cool perspective and was glad to see very little shaking from the bike in the footage. Well done! Keep 'em coming. My opinion is that the top portion of the trail from Whitetop to Damascus is even more scenic, but both are incredible and easy rides. Great for families.
Yes, I agree with you. Once they repair the trail from white top, I’ll try that section as well. Apparently it may not be open for a few years because of flood damage.
I rode that once about 5 years ago in the spring❤ after seeing this which was a great video I need to get back out and do it one more time in the fall😊
Thanks for the content, I grew up in Johnson city and fished most of the same places. Im sad to hear about the trail. I took my wife there and we done the other half. I now live in Mississippi and miss the mountains dearly.
Appreciate the video. I've always wanted to check out the Creeper, but was concerned about how tough it would be. Your video makes it appear accessible - not to mention incredibly beautiful - so I'll probably give it a try before too long. Also, glad to hear you're doing work for Tailwaters - stayed there a few years ago for a weekend trip and it is a jewel of a place to stay, especially for anyone coming to the area for fishing.
Agreed, Tailwaters Lodge is a very special place to stay. Great location and great Fishing. I hope you enjoy your trip to the Creeper Trail at some point.
Loved the video. I’ve wanted to ride the creeper and now I want to even more. Maybe this coming spring 😊. Also would love to see more bike trails as well as hiking. Thank you
that was interesting. I've heard much about the creeper trail, but never made it there to scout it out. It was nice to see what it was all about. I was going to call Blue Blaze to see if the had e-bikes, but closed for the season now...
They used to do a lot of business driving bikers up to Green Cove and letting them ride back down the mountain to Damascus. I’ve fished every inch of those streams on both the Va and Tn side. Just got to the Helene portion. Very sad. I knew there was a lot of damage through there, but haven’t been through there yet.

Yeah, the bike shop owner said it will take several years to fix the trail.
@MichaelKaal-TriFisher Maybe they can take a few curves out of 58 & straighten it while fixing the Creeper. Lol Miracles happen. 👍🙏
@@billdye3530 fingers crossed 😂
Thanks for showing this gem of a bike trail. It’s on my bucket list now !!
Your welcome. It’s a very special place.

I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I will definitely do more just like it.

Yes, he did mention that they have e-bikes available. And he plans on ordering more.

Yeah, from what I could tell there was a lot of damage. Beautiful area though.
Should open to ebikes
Yeah, I talked to the store owner at the bike shop and he said that they are currently getting more e-bikes.
