Both of your boxes strangely don't contain a UPC code while the bottom of mine does. I also didn't see a batch code on your original box or at least you didn't mention if there was one. I would ask if it's possible that the fake one was actually how Versace packaged it before 2012 and maybe it's not fake. but you would know better based on who you bought it from. The one difference I noted that you didn't mention is that the writing on the one you say is fake overlaps the box design whereas the logo on the original box is cuts through the box design.
Fragrance Tattoo do Versace colognes have a certilogo or CLG code attached to them like their other products? On their website it says Versace products use this to determine fakes, but it doesn't specify that colognes use these. The codes would say "CLG XXXXX" or something like that apparently

The logo on the front. The Versace Man logo on the shiny portion of the bottle is perfectly centered with the rounded rectangle. It’s probably about 3/16 of an inch from the top and the bottom of the rounded rectangle.
I noticed that. Many times during editing some parts get cut out. This was one of them.

One thing I immediately noticed is the pattern on the box. The real one has very organic looking light blue lines, with varying thicknesses throughout. The fake just has ovals drawn with lines that have the same thickness throughout. Immediate dead giveaway.
Through your video I noticed the difference in the VERSACE font, which served me as the giveaway. Thanks!

These are great videos! I have both Versace Eros and this one, and they are my favorite! Funny thing is, I bought them at Walmart. Through watching these vids, I discovered mine are NOT fakes. I'm pleased to know that.

The bottle I have is legit real and the box looks is similar but has differences. Writing on to the back is both above and below the decorative line. The real one always has a light baby blue bottle. The cap is plastic but requires the least effort to open. The smell of the real lasts 3 days on paper. It's completely gone by the 5th. Your real bottle is pretty much the standard for authntic bottles but the box has differences. I'd say, the box has different versoins. I'm not sure how many but as I mentioned, mine has slight differences.
plot twist the fake is 50% concentrated and smells better than the original.

Just bought this…omg loving it so much…it falls into the summery and citrusy category but has one different thing which i dont what that makes it different than other citrus frags..u gotta try it to know it..definitely worth it..somehow i love a lot of versace frags despite them being a bit cheaper than other designer frags..i love dylan blue and pour homme so much

Just purchased a 30ml from a discount store from my local mall. Pretty sure its real, only thing is it has that half-circle cut in the inner white box. Everything else checks out.

Where on Earth do you get your fakes from? So the two things that I took away from this video that'll help me determine a fake from a genuine product is the font and the tube inside the bottle.
There are different fake manufacturers, this one looks a certain way, other fakes may have something else that is not right. Watch for every detail.

It sucks there are so many fakes out there. I just bought eau fraiche from amazon. 2 sprays on my neck and hands and now 15 mins later the scent is literally gone. Is it supposed to be this weak/light/faint or might I have got a fake?
If it does not last long on your skin it does not mean it is fake!
Eau Fraiche is a light scent, it is ment for summer. If you are not happy with it you could return it if the seller's policy admits it.

How much original Versace perfume?
I got this fragrance from the internet it has all the original characteristics but it smells a lot like lemon. So I'm not sure

Well the fake one also the bottle isn't as clear
I just bought a fake Versace Man by accident. The bottle and packaging is very convincing, but lacks the batch code and some of the other markings it should have. Smell-wise, it smells almost entirely of alcohol and little to no fragrance whatsoever. There is a faint lemon-y smell, but it resembles lemon scented furniture cleaner. I purchased it directly from Amazon, so buyer beware. They must have gotten duped into buying a shipment of fakes.
Regardless, they were happy to refund me-- they are probably aware of the issue at this point. In the future, I'll be spending more $ and only be purchasing from a reputable retailer.
Even if a fake smells good, it much likely doesn’t last nearly as long. As he said, its unregulated so who knows whats actually in it as well.

Shay #93 I did not use any barcode scanner. I can not know the outcome of using it.
I think the barcode on the fake is just copied/pasted from the authentic so it should check out all right if using a bar code scanner, but once again I can not know because I never used it.

be careful! they make fakes with the box design that looks exactly like the original now! the only visible difference is on the back side, where the text placement on the fake is still the same as the old fake design.

@fragrancetattoo , I bought mine from FragranceNet and the bubble Pattern from the box are a little bit different from the one you show in the video. I wonder if each batch have a different pattern of bubble on the box or the one I have it’s just fake. Everything else that you show it on the original bottle, mine have it.
You must probably have a newer batch. In time all fragrances go through aesthetic changes, so don't worry.

lamont ealy The fake sells for $25 - $30. Sell it for 100.000 times and it's obvious why the crooks would fake it. The fragrance is very popular, the fake is very well done and can fool anyone, it's one of the best I've seen so far until now.
@@tattoofun2003 thank you for these! On the Versace website it says their products have a Certilogo code (CLG code) but it doesn't specify if their cologne has them as well. And I've never gotten a Versace colognes with the CLG code on it. In your experience do their colognes have this as well?
They even fake a casio F91W watch that cost 10 dollars original, but poor people in 3rd world countries would buy the fake for 1-2 dollar because of their wages. Also good fakes can be used to scam people in the western countries.

Your box on the original also doesn't have a UPC code which is unusual. The UPC code is on the bottom flap of mine and the batch code is engraved into the bottom right side of the flap.
Do you know if Walmart sells legit cologne? I'd assume so, just they're so cheap it's surprising!

Fakes contain chemical compounds that are not aproved by any HealthCare Legislation. You will get skin deseases, respiratory problems, maybe cancer ... and all that for beeing cheaper ? What the f*@^ ?!?!!!

Czaruje Sobie L'Homme Ultime by my knowledge is NOT beeing faked so I can not know why your's smells weaker than the one you tested. Go check the batch of the one you tested in the shop and compare it with yours, it could be already reformulated so you have the new batches, but I can not make assumptions on the reformulations of L'Homme Ultime because I do not know if it was reformulated or not!
I thought about it, but my batch code says its from January of 2016, so that's when L'Homme Ultime was released. I thought the first releases were the strongest, but it does not look like...

So, I was upset all day over this and even felt sick in my stomach. I wondered how many of the fragrances I bought since March were counterfeit. When I got home I checked all the boxes to make sure the boxes matched the batch codes on the bottles. So far, this Versace Man, is the only one in question. It seems that you have a better fake than me. On mine, the silver foil lettering that reads: this product can be sold only by authorized "Versade" retailers. After the word "Versade there is a tiny registered trademark symbol. That typo alone is all I need to see to believe everything you are reporting now. I spent $30 on Ebay for it. Because it is discontinued, I was wanting to get it for a good price. I'm glad you made this video. Here's to good health brother! -Adam Wisdom

Be careful if you buy from unreliable sources, ask for pictures first, especially pictures for the folding cellophane to the side, that one is obvious if the product is fake.
One last thing. I got caught up in the excitement of trying out new and familiar scents that I didn't think of things like this being out there. You have helped me pump the brakes on this fragrance journey. I was about finished anyway with collecting all the staple scents. Now I am gonna reassess where I am and stop buying off of Ebay. I think I have a 5 year supply of fragrance at this point. -Adam Wisdom

I buy from here and there. I take a lot of time in tracking fakes.
Sometimes I did buy from crooks that simply walk around on the street corners with fragrances inside a bag. Ofcourse they are fakes.
Other times I buy from crooks that are part of the fake distribution network, they have acces to shipments of fakes that cross countries.
Sometimes I buy from a local buyer/seller website.
I tried walking around the streets of philly to buy fakes but got offered crack instead

Did the batch code exist ? Make sure your checking and evaluation is correct.
If the fragrance is indeed fake you must report the seller to EBay and also to your local police department, they will register your claim and send it to the place of origin of the shipper.
Once again, do all this after you make sure the fragrance is fake!

Chanel is one brand that should always be bought at retail. They're very protective of those bottles.

I just bought a new one and i am pretty much sure it has been reformulate because this one does not even last for 4 hours where as my old bottle which i got a gift in 2009 was a beast, use to stay all day long... i am very disappointed another gem ruined after Reformulation

Marbert Serrano I bought this one half year ago but never had time to film this video, I remember paying for it around $25. The price for fakes may actually be the same with the one of the authentic, so it can go to $40 as well. The batch of my authentic is legit if you check it. The fake does not have a batch so there is nothing to check there. Watch out because fakes lately have a legit batch code, it's not hard to print a legit batch code on fakes at all.

I recently parted ways with Clinique Happy for Men. Very good smell when I spray it but as soon as i step outside into oxygen the smell completely evaporates. I str8 up bought 2 6.7 bottles of these ones.
I never tried the fragrance you mentioned.
