    I've never liked headless guitars but this one is beautiful. Such an amazing finish. Love the sparkles.❤👍

    Well done video, Paul! Very interesting for someone like me who doesn't have any experience with this :)

      You'd be surprised....changing strings on a headless guitar is actually easier than on a standard guitar.

    I'm having a problem with the screw tip showing off when i tune the strings again, when i first got it it wasn't showing as much, what do you the issue is?
    Thanks for the video

      Pull a string as far as you can. So it's not too loose. That's the reason why the screw is coming out.

    I must be missing something....But, it looks like you’re moving the bridge saddles when you turn the tuner thumb screws back & forth. That would completely fuck the intonation every time you change strings or tune. 🤔

      Actually I moved only the length between saddles and springs. I didn't move the back screw that you use for adjusting intonation.

    my question is even with regular tuning pegs I get the slack wrong and when I do Tune-up I can't get the intended note. How do you know how much slack to put through the nut?

    • @PaulKingMetal
      @PaulKingMetal  3 роки тому

      Measure the length of the slack just like the length between tuning pegs for a regular guitar. Nothing more. That's totally enough. For a headless guitar ....I just pull the string through, hold tight with my fingers and tighten the nut. I don't leave any room there. You can see it in the video.

    How much slack are you leaving on the string before clipping and tightening?

    • @PaulKingMetal
      @PaulKingMetal  4 роки тому

      Almost nothing. If you leave too much the back screw will go out. That would not be good!

    Do you have to give the string any slack when you thread it? How much if any? Only confusing part about this for me.

    • @PaulKingMetal
      @PaulKingMetal  4 роки тому

      Not really...if the string is too loose the screw inside the thumbscrew will stay out instead of staying in. images.app.goo.gl/9icanBcGuqEYodgq9
