Mam... Restriction endonuclease breaks only phosphodiester bond... So when RE acts on the palindromic sequence of nucleotides to break it and give blunt ends or sticky ends and separate the sequence then at that time hydrogen bonds also breaks na so how RE breaks the hydrogen bonds..??🤔🤔

Hydrogen bonds are not broken, they are separated...
But the hydrogen bond is still attached from one nitrogen base.
