  • In this video I share two puzzle hauls I made at the local OP shop. Some great little finds. I then walk through the puzzles I completed in 2023 and at the start of 2024. Lastly I share some ideas for the future and enter my puzzle collection into a spreadsheet. (yes, I am getting that nerdy over puzzles.)

You certainly have a varied and interesting collection. Not surprised you are not a fan of puzzles with dark areas. They can get rather eye-bogging to do, also for me, I avoid puzzles with vast acres of sky, sea or greenery. It is a good idea to have a list of your jigsaws so that you can check you are not buying one you already have. I've done that with mine and I have just over 1700 puzzles listed. Bear in mind that I have been puzzling for many years and have plenty of time at my disposal to do puzzles. Great to hear that your daughter likes to do puzzles. 😃

Thanks for your comment. Yes, i am learning more and more about what i want to avoid. Although some puzzles have been a surprise for me, as you will see in an upcoming video for my first 2000 piece. Think im up to about 200ish puzzles atm. Looking forward to expanding my collection 😁

Hi I am in Sydney, I was wondering what op shops you go to and where you are, because the ones around me either don’t have any puzzles or have some that are really not good and prices from $3 to $15.

Im up in the blue mountains. I go to the cancer society op shop in katoomba. Almost permenantly selling all puzzles for a dollar these days. Some good. Some not to my liking. Generally i find a number quite regularly.

Sorry I shouldn’t be bothering you with these questions. I’m gonna ring them up and ask her to donate. Thanks again.
