I was born into the sport of Hockey, physically & passionately. Biggest regret growing up, never played the sport of soccer/football. I got into in 2004, Im 40 now. THAT Celtic shirt was my first shirt, wore it on New Year’s Eve w/ a girl who a was a close friend of mine and decided to change my view on her and ended up spur of the moment, proposing to her on New Year’s Eve w/ that Celtic shirt. We were both caught off guard on that night, it was magical. Here we are, going 13 yrs & 5 beautiful kids. I love the talk, the lingos about match prepared, issued, worn shirts. I surprised you havent mentioned the VINYL APPLIED “wash tag” that is the AUTHENTIC, AUTHENTIC shirt you want to get. I could talk for hours about shirt collections. Sadly, I sold my, first it was MATCH BALLS / FIFA APPROVED collection…had over 300, 2 of each. Sold that to buy a house. Then came along w/ the shirts, that came & went out, wife’s car was bought out in cash….then it was the cleats……almost going out…I’ve mentioned Im 40 now, decided to relax and get back into the shirt game. I wished I never sold my Perisic match worn Purple/Black w/ the Euro sleeve badge purposely removed by the team 😩
I think you tubers have boosted the price up i had a belting collection at one point but I'm out of the game now as its just silly money. Middle class rich man's game now .
Alright rockefeller calm down. Its worth 22k now but the collection will go up in value every year. If he retires in 40 years it will be worth a small fortune by then. And that's on top of the money he will earn through working
@@CitrusMenace How would they get rarer? They will get older sure, but that's not the same as rarer. Some of his will increase in value sure but you can't say they all will. And the "value" is only what people are prepared to pay. Football shirt collecting is a niche that has seen increased interest over the last couple of years. It won't always be like this.
@@scottchegg828 you might be right but I cant see football getting less popular. Its been popular for decades and fanbases have just got larger. They will get rarer because over time some shirts will become damaged, thrown away, lost etc and they don't produce any new ones.

I’ve got a signed ball from the Leeds Utd championship winning team.
Tasty challenge from Ellis
Just counted and I’ve got 59 Celtic shirts going back to 1987.
That celtic shirt is class
That celtic shirt is amazing!
Compared to the big boys of collecting - he really doesn't rank that highly. Although I do love his shows.
Does anyone know what North Face ellis is wearing
MON THE FUKIN HOOPS YA BASSS 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀💚💚💚💚💚💚
Celtic
Who has a grand to spend on a shirt ?
Ellis does
Most people who pay that price wouldn’t be wearing them, simply displaying them. Also they’re a safe investment as the shirts become rarer

£22k retirement money 😆😆 I have more than that in the bank and I’m still working.

@@CitrusMenace Not necessarily. It is just as likely to stagnate or even go down a bit
@@scottchegg828 why would it do that? These shirts are only going to get rarer and more historic over the years which means the value will go up
