I'm gonna get my tapered cut at 3pm today even though my natural hair is perfectly healthy and at collarbone length. Ahhh. I'm so excited but a little nervous because people are being negative about it but I don't care because it's my hair and I really really really want this. Great video Jo! another tip: When looking for inspo, find ppl who resemble you- either they have your skin tone, face shape, eye shape, something- so you have an idea of what would look good on you.

I personally started out with bob braids for my tapered cut, at least they hid the shaved sides. The sides are now all grown and i can braid the whole head. the middle is still longer though
