    Hey man great vids as always and you may explain this in another one, but do you ever dip/soak your exposed screen before washing out? Does that hurt or help with finer details or you just always wash down with water on both sides to weaken emulsion first? Thanks

    Hey whats a good light source for burning my screens how many watts should the bulb be and should it be a black or purple light , how long to burn it for

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  2 роки тому +1

      There is no one simple answer to that. If money is tight you can get simple bulbs and try it out that way but time and distance of the bulb is something you will just have to test out and find the right time with.

    What kind of ink are you using?

  • @theblankworkshop
    @theblankworkshop 2 роки тому +2

    For the white tee shirts why do a print flash print? wouldn't the black be super vibrant with just the first few passes? Im only asking cause im starting off with my new press and am truly curious. Your videos have been super helpful from the start .

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  2 роки тому +2

      Great question. I can just do 1 print and be fine and it will look good but adding the extra layer of ink goes a long way. This is just a personal preference of mine. There are a ton of printers out there who would only do a print for black ink, which all in all is fine. However to me quality matters, I have tried doing just one print but the print just doesn't look as good as it would with. print flash print. When you hold that single printed design up to a light or just in the air, you will see how light can easily pass through the design. Now, try holding a print flash print up in the air and you will see how truly opaque it is. Its just the extra steps that go a long way, personal preference of mine, quality is a must for me. Do your testing! This is honestly a great question and I'm going to add this in the list of videos to make since I believe a lot can be learned from this. appreciate you!
