Another storage auction, and I managed to pick up this stuffed 10x10 for just one dollar! It's been awhile since we picked up a dollar unit, and I'm ready for the adventure of digging in and finding out what's inside. It's actually packed so tight, we can't see much, so who knows what's hiding in there... let's find out together in this episode!

Newer subscriber here. I just have to say, I watched some older videos and noticed a big difference. You look so much younger with shorter hair and you look healthier, not just that you lost weight but your skin looks healthier.

For $1 it doesn’t seem too bad. That orange cart brought back memories of my last job in a supermarket- we called them “U-boats” and they were used to transport cases of groceries to the aisles for stocking shelves, and by the perishable departments to put into the coolers. Ours also were orange. Hopefully you’ll find some really decent stuff in the back. You’ll make some money on all of those coffee mugs, too. Good luck!
That's cool. Makes sense too, as the skinny carts wouldn't take up too much space in the aisles. I like this one. I'm tempted to keep it, but probably won't.

Don’t throw the lock away, brass is pretty high at the scrap yards, that chunk might be around a couple of bucks, add in other brass and you could have enough for a couple of bucks worth of gas! Lol! ✌🏼❤️
Poles inside might be for the metal stands that need to be put together.

The black vertical rack with "U" shaped pieces may be a cowboy hat rack. My husband has a few smaller, but similar wall mounted racks.

That cart is called a uboat.. I managed grocery/retail stores and it’s what we used to move merchandise.

Those MIRA Thermoses are between $15.00 - $30.00 brand new. You can either sell them for 5 or 10 bucks apiece and they will sell. They are worth the price.
Use that Saran Wrap on the boxes of flooring.
I googled Mira mugs and they're selling for $15-$16 apiece if they're new. I also think the curved poles might be shower rods.
You must see a video I accidentally found about a man’s ( Martijn Doolaard is the UA-cam channel) grandfather who built one of a kind locomotives and boats like the ones in your SPECIAL TRAINS LOCKER! I watch his channel for the restoration of a mountain cabin in the Alps….but happened onto a video on his channel telling about his grandfather in Europe who built these special locomotive….really you must watch it! It’s like a connection of those you found in your locker…and will give you a beautiful short background of the passion those people had to even try to build such a precious intricate thing….from scrap metals!

We call that long skinny dolly a U-boat cart. You can stack multiple boxes on them to move.

At 25:08, the black rack is a storage rack for cowboy hats used in western stores. It holds several mixed styles of hats in stacks of different sizes. Westen cowboy hats are stored with the top down, therefore the racks are for hanging them that way.
The silver piece you didn’t know what it is, is a handle for a tiered tea cake plate.
And some tiered cake plates, depending on the pattern, can be money.

It was hard to tell from the video but I thought that large metal piece appeared to have a plastic top. Reminded me of golf cart roof.
They may have been personalizing the mugs.

Hi Jack, the TI Calculator sells pre-owned for $49-$65 on eBay. If you have the cover, it sells at the higher end. Condition also plays into the price. I know you already know all this but I like to look smart or intelligent now and again. 😀😂
