Exactly the video i was looking for. Shaded just appears darker and colors overall more darker and muted. Non shaded looks more colorful and warm.
I'm so glad you did this very-well done comparison. Thank you. I noticed that the shaded color RL8/29SS seems to be blended more evenly but darker than the RL8/29. I always assumed that the shaded colors would be lighter. Thanks to you, I have a better idea of these colors. If I had my druthers, I would go with the RL8/29. Would you do a comparison with the Ginger Brown color RL5/27? That color seems nicely blended and lighter than RL8/29. Thanks again. Great review!
Hello Patricia. RL5/27 Ginger Brown is a warm medium brown blended with light caramel brown. It has coppery auburn highlights. RL8/29 is medium brown, medium auburn, and light auburn with coppery gold highlights. Ginger Brown is slightly lighter. Since Gabor and RW are made by the same company do you think the Hazlenut and Shaded Hazlenut would be the same as the colors you have shown here? Also what would be darker the Shaded Hazlenut or Sunlit Chestnut? And how much darker?😁 thank you for your in depth reviews and especially the outdoor lighting and your comparison videos.

Which color is closer to Belle Tress mocha with cream?
Hello Chantelle. Mocha With Cream is a rooted color, therefore, Shaded Hazelnut (since it is rooted, too) would be the closer match. Mocha With Cream has a very dark ashy brown root. Shaded Hazelnut has a medium brown root. Both are warm colors.
Would you happen to know if shaded hazelnut is a match for Jon Renau 6/33 raspberry twist?
