Bummer this ended on such a sour note. Obviously can't control weather but the previous rounds were SO good that you would have loved to see a final that was able to actually happen.
sekt life is bananas i tell you
I'd take it in a heartbeat. It's the day after Christmas and we have about 24" for the season in CA. Some resorts aren't even open yet. Thus I'm watching snowboarding on the internet instead of snowboarding.
This competition is the best ever what can see in snowboarding. Great runs of all riders, Travis unbelievable skill, semifinal run of Thorstein was beauty. Thanks guys. Great.
Of course no one can control the weather, but still it would be great to see the full runs of both Thorstein and Travis. And not for the evil pleasure of seeing the "gods" suffer, but I really think it can be quite educational to see how these amazing riders are dealing with difficult conditions. Please NST release the footage.
Wait, can't you just go to the natural selection site and rewatch the recorded stream?
@@XxManzanitaPR nope. It is edited out. You can see both final runs until the first fall in the upper part and then suddenly the rider is down by the finish..
Shame that a beautiful competiton like this is decided on such an awful day, couldn't it be postponed with better weather? Maybe not...
Awesome riders and venue though...
for real that flat light on run 2 is unfair to both riders and the competition
Natural selection doesn’t wait for good weather
I think they said that if they postponed the competition, they had to be there a full week more, for some reason.
I think if the weather would’ve held Torstien might’ve come out on top. He was on an absolute tear. His front seven, the huge switch backside three. I think he would’ve laid all on the line that final day.. still an incredible event and legendary riding..
lol at the end of the day they both win. Most of us would give anything to go down that one time and to them that's their job. There was no loser
Can this commentator stop talking for 2 seconds? Especially while the riders are talking right before their runs.
Yeah seriously, I’d way rather hear the riders before and after the runs than the announcers adding their meaningless fluff
The American lady was very annoying, but the British commentator was great though.
Especially the man was so annoying
Still sad it had to end this way..
Also Rice has been riding here for many years, and picked the spot himself. i feel like this is a bit unfair in a competition.
They should of made a TIE as with those conditions , it is not a fair competition
absolutely
Shame that condition wasnt like in semis, but anyway most epic competion ever, blast!!!
Nice!!
Got the AK state flag FLAPPIN 🤝
so sick
Torstein needed that Magy traction
these commentators are brutalll
Can’t see because he’s not wearing oakley 😂
where tf you get these announcers bro. ffs. coming from an alaska heli homegrown, i have to mute these commentators LMFAO
love the comp and everything you guys are doing, don't get me wrong. Get Danny to announce lol that would be a gem.
