- We finally did it. We jumped off Bloukrans which is the world's highest bungee jump bridge. We laughed, we danced, and then we felt utter terror and fear until it was finally time to take the big leap. We hope you enjoy this short, fast-paced vlog of what the Bloukrans experience is like.

For those that don't know, Bloukrans Bridge is famously the world’s highest bridge bungee jump, located close to Nature’s Valley, along South Africa’s Garden Route. In this video, you get to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush as you bungee jump from the top of the bridge, at a height of 709 feet (216 meters), over the stunning Bloukrans River Gorge.

Lesmaine, I mean it is quite a fearful experience but I think repetition helps you overcome fear. As a matter of interest, would you want to attempt to cure your fear of heights in any way?
Absolutely Stunning Mark, I would love to have done that myself but when I got there I was told I can't do that as I am an Epileptic & it would kill me instantly & they won't be held responsible for that. I was sad but fully understood it from there point, so I just had to watch friends jump 😢😢

Heights have been a big fear since childhood. I am from Sydney, Australia. Step 1: Make fear your friend. Step 2: I climbed Harbour Bridge, Sydney. Step 3: I did an 18, 000 ft skydive in Auckand. Step 4: Bungee Jumping from Bloukrans Bridge my next attempt to face my fear.😊

Holy moly - I like the calm little zip line to get to the platform.... That's about as far as I'd get 🤣
Donna, that zip line can also turn the screws in your tummy, especially when you look down. Would you ever sky dive?

I did this jump in the early 2000s and I will never bungee jump ever again.
