One of the best reviews of any RV I've ever seen. Clear, concise, & honest. Thanks for that. I came close about 1½ yrs ago to buying a ShowHauler Super C. So I'm familiar w/ a lot of the things you talked about. There certainly is a lot to like about the Super C.
I dont normally comment on videos, but this was great. We are considering an RV similar to this, and your video does a great job of discussion PROS / CONS that I had never considered. Great job, and thanks for taking the time to do this.
Solve your fueling problem by stopping at truck stops. The truck fuel islands have a master and slave fuel delivery so you can do both sides at once. Flying J even offers RV discounts and laundromats.

I am very late to the game watching this video, but just had to comment how terrific it is. You hit all the points I hoped you would, for the perfect amount of time, and the camera work was awesome! Perfectly positioned in every room to show the layout and details. Great teamwork! A very pleasant, entertaining and informative video to watch. Thanks very much! Happy trails!
Go to the truck island of a truck stop for fuel. All big rigs have dual tanks so they have a pump on both sides that allows fueling both tanks at once.
I love this Class C. I love the look of it as well. I have been looking at them to decide which way I will go. Unfortunately, most in this style is only in the 30+ ft range and I do not want one that long. Thank you for sharing. This is beautiful and you give some excellent example of what works or doesn't.
Thank you for the great video. Especially thanks for showing us how usable the rig is with the slide in. For traveling purposes Walmart and the like frown on overnight stays with the slides open so this is an often overlooked issue and pretty important. So thanks for bringing in the slides. I assume the master bed is still usable with the slide in.... Just found you so looking forward to seeing the modifications, especially the swivel seats. I too prefer an oven and cook top combo, don't quite understand why so many manufactures are switching away from this but I'd gladly swap out a drawer or two in favor of this add on.Thanks again for sharing. Safe travels.
thanks for the walk thru... We bought a 2015 earlier this year and love it. Ours has a few changes in just the two model years, but really like the second bathroom door.
Thank you for the video. For those of us considering a purchase of a Seneca over the next few years or so, this kind of impartial review is extremely informative. As far as your issue with having to fuel up with diesel on both sides of the rig, my experience has been that just about all truck stops have the pumps on both sides to fuel both tanks simultaneously. I always try to use Pilot/Flying J because I have their Good Sam Pilot Card which lets me pay right at the pump and never have to go inside. I know from my observations, that all of their stations have the pumps on both sides. Anyway, loved your video, keep em coming. You've moved the Seneca up on my list of Super C's.
Whoever is cleaning that beast does a wonderful job. It still looks brand new. Great video. I expected more negatives with jayco but then again this one is a bit older.
Outstanding video. You really did a great job covering things and it's good that you mention cons as well as pros. The Seneca is very impressive and it seems that the manufacturer has listened to their customers and to people like yourselves that spend a great deal of time in their RV's. Well done.
As a war veteran Desert Storm 1990 - 94 and former long haul CDL Class A Tractor Trailer Driver, I recommend Pilot, truck stop's, or Loves, there the best choice in the aftermath of the collapse of the Flying J Truck Stops. The discounts are fairly rewarding.
@@TheKuhlOdyssey I did crane work on a home the owner, or one of the owners, of the Flying J chain owned. It's the most expensive home in our county by far! Then he got divorced I understand......
The big difference in freightliner up from the General Motors or navistar etc is air ride. I love super Cs for towing durability etc but if you have standard truck suspension it will beat you to death and jar all the pretty stuff off the walls. With air it rides great!!
Thank you for showing these class Cs with the slide in so we can see the space. Been thinking about stealth living in a big city with one of these trucks and you never see these things closed off. Boondocking in a city like NYC at times seems only possible with closef sides
I have a Renegade Super C and I only fill up where the semi trucks fill up since they have two gas pumps not where the normal RVs pump. We've never had a problem doing it. Great video!
I do the same, just don't like that they sometimes charge more for fuel at the truckstops due to their locations. It is much easier for sure....and much faster pumps
I have a 2008 Seneca on the Chevy chassis, with the Duramax Diesel would not trade it for anything. Love it!! Hope Jayco builds this option on the new Silverado 5500 chassis. I would consider updating with this chassis, Don't miss out on the possibility Jayco.
I originally had a 2005 Seneca on the Kodiak, it was amazing as well. Really just went to the Freightliner to deal with all the extra weight once we started to fulltime.
Excellent Job! And gorgeous coach! I have a Tiffin Phateon 40’ now. Being an over the road truck driver/owner for 30 years and familiar with the hoods and cabovers, I wish now I would have looked at these before I bought my class A. The ease of engine maintenance alone is enough reason to choose this over a class A... I am all in with my Tiffin so I will probably never own one like this. But my advice to anyone looking for a diesel motorhome, do your homework on all styles before writing the check!! Don’t do like me and buy the first one that trips your trigger.
If you force air through the TV compartment and into your living space, you will simultaneously reduce the temperature reading on the thermostat, prolong the life of the components in the TV, and gain a small heat source for the winter, which would regain some of the energy lost through heat produced by the TV. You would want to be able to vent the exhaust outside during the summer, as not to elevate the temperature of the room, causing the A/C to run unnecessarily.
Awesome review! I wish most folks had your same style in their reviews. We are in market now for 25’. Super c is awesome but too big for us. Just wish the new c class units I’ve seen weren’t made so poorly. Yours looks awesome!
We were looking at the 2018's with the S2RV chassis and was getting very excited until we read on almost the first page of the owner's manual that full-time RVing in them was not supported for warranty purposes, most disappointing to say the least considering we see quite a few of them come into the campground we currently manage. Now we are also considering the Valencia which has the same chassis with somewhat similar specs. We wish they were both a bit shorter for backcountry parking, but quality coaches in the shorter sizes are near impossible to find these days.
I do not think any RV manufacturer supports living in the units. They are meant to be "recreational vehicles". If you ask any one of them, they will say they are not made to be lived in and I would be willing to bet they all mention it be a warranty issue. The Velencia is also a great unit, a bit more of a hit on the pocketbook though.
Fantastic rig and review, sir! After near fifty-years of fighting the big city way of life, I'm considering tossing in the towel, selling out, purchasing a semi-new coach and going into a full-time super-C setting myself. I'd like to spend my remaining time here on this rock while seeing the land around it while I still can; before I'm too damn old to see it. You placed highlight on some things that I haven't considered, ... so thanks for doing this video regarding the pros & cons of things from someone having experience. I'm not so old _(least not yet)_ *haha!* that I can't still watch and learn, ... Cheers!
Amazing video review Sir! We're saving up for a 37FS (family of 6) and this is by far the most informative review we have watched to date, thanks! We're stealing the microwave storage idea, lol! My wife and I laughed after you revealed your idea, because we just shove our bread wherever we can (and rarely use our microwave)! Thanks again. Going to check out the solar mod video too, because it is on our list...
Very good job on delivering some good information. I currently have a class A. I would like to hear some of your opinions on how a super C handles compared to a class A. Sway, cornering ect.
Interested in your comments about the table size. Wondered if you considered a new table top that would fit over the existing table that would be wider. Giving you more space on the table, and allow you to be closer to the edge of the table
+Bruce Watson putting on a new tabletop was definitely a consideration. Couple of things steered me to the free standing table. One was the ability to move it around and use it is different positions. I also wanted a place to keep my laptop and office supplies that was easy to use. The drawer in the writing desk works perfectly. The main thing that deterred me from that idea was the weight. The "dream dinette" is held to the wall with about 10 sheet metal screws. I was very worried that the extra weight of a new top and using it as a desk would pull it from wall causing big problems.
Thanks for long term review of your seneca, we will be going full time in a few years and are considering what to buy when we sell our house. right now we have a travel trailer for being a weekend warrior. anyways new sub thanks!
Hi I watched this video in the U K and I am really envious of your RV although it may be a little to big for our road system but none the less I would love to have one , great video by the way 👍
Great review. We are on our 3rd C. We now have a 33' Forest River. On a E450 chassis. It handles better than our smaller C's. But it is still fatiguing. Can do about 3-4 hours driving max. Compared to driving your smaller C how is driving your Super, handling, hills, maneuverability etc? One thing you might consider is putting the Tv above the fireplace on an arm. It Gives you a better viewing angle and may solve the heat problem on the thermostat side. Did you consider any of the Nexus or Dynamax products when you were looking at your current Super C?
The Seneca drives very well, no problem with long days. Although I try to not do more than 2-3 hours in any move days anyway. I have recently done a couple of 8 hr drives and I felt fine upon arrival, no fatigue or anything. I did look at the Dynamax, just a little to far outside what I wanted my budget to be. Nexus floor plans really did not work for me.
Great walkthrough! My husband was wondering if you guys have any video of the under bed set up (how the under bed storage looks/functions). We have a similar set up under our bed in our 5th wheel, but no storage, he'd love to make his own like yours. Thanks!
I don't have anything with the underbed area. It is really just an all open area. The only thing down there is the slide in mechanism, the rest is just open space. The sides of the storage are attached to the floor and the platform slides on top.
Probably way too late but... As a truck mechanic, I have installed many crossover lines, install a valve on each tank (Ball cock style not a tap) in case the line ruptures, use a 1" angle between the tank saddles and attach the line to that, 3/4 braided fuel line works great. that way if your transfer pump fails you will not run out of fuel with the passenger tank full... The cost is minimal and there should be taped ports at the ends of the tank that you can remove the plugs to install the valves and that will keep the crossover 1" above the bottom of the tank for Clarence.
I just got used to using truck stops. A cross over line would have been amazing. As a side note, the new Senecas have a single fuel tank, totally fixing the issue.
Thank you for a very fair and balanced Freightliner/Cummings Jayco Seneca review. I currently am I very satisfied 2008 Jayco Seneca owner who is ready to move up to a new or newer Freightliner Seneca. Since you have owned both versions (Kodiak and Freightliner) I am hoping you can compare their mountain pulling performance. My Kodiak performs well in the mountains (I-70 Co. through Pa.) and on paper looks stronger than the Freightliner version. Kodiak: 26,000lb. GCWR with 330HP = 79 lb./1hp. Freightliner: 33,000lb. GCWR with 340HP = 97lb./1hp (I don't have torque figures for both of them). Any real world experience going up OR downhill that you can share with me would be greatly appreciated.
I actually think the Kodiak climbed the big hills better than the Freightliner does. You can feel it is heavier and it shows on the long climbs. On the steepest hills, I normally stick around 45mph, I don't really like to push it. My Jeep Rubicon also weight close to 5700lbs, which is considerably heavier than my old Liberty that was only 4400lbs. That being said, I am not disappointed in the Freightliner, I think it still does well and does not seem to be working that hard to climb.
Thanks for the very descriptive reply. My gut told me that the lighter Kodiak might have the edge in mountain pulling as you confirmed but it's also reassuring to hear that the Freightliner climbs well enough to not be a deterrent from buying a newer model.
Most Truck Stop Fuel Island have DUAL Pumps. One Main Pump & Satellite Pump. You can Fill Both at Same Time. You Got a Killer M2 Freightliner. I Drive a M2 Business Class Straight & Flatbed Truck
I REALLY hope you figured this out by now, but honestly how in the world is the gas tanks an issue? Go to the truck stops, almost all trucks have dual fuel tanks, the pump is set for a slave pump on the other side. You can fill both tanks simultaneously from the one credit card swipe. It is beyond easy. PLUS they are high capacity high flow pumps so you can fill both tanks in about three and a half minutes. (Same size tanks on my truck, so I know the timing.) Good luck. I hope you do not take this as condescending, it is not intended that way.
Just don't like that I pay more for the fuel. Truck stops are more expensive about every single time. Convenient to fuel quickly and using two pumps, but it burns me to pay more.
The Kuhl Odyssey That is fair enough. I have personally only rarely seen fuel more expensive at truck stops. I have had good luck in the past. They have been easy, convenient, and the best price in most of the towns I visit. I get it though, ten cents a gallon adds up, especially if you had a pair of 150 gallon tanks. But even then it is only $30. So o guess I get over it.
Hello and thank you for the review. I found this video interesting to say the least, as my wife and i are looking at either a Prevost 45' or, going with somethng along the lines of a Renegade Super C, and or Haulmark Super C. Trying to figure out in my mind about pulling a trailer, with a Jeep in it for travel once parked, and what's required as far as licensing and the what nots. Also, getting insurance on it, as i will be the main driver. Alot to think about when getting one. As i watched, i wondered why you did not get the factory to place a cross over pipe into the fuel system to stop the trouble you had with the little pump? Also, noticing that your no small fellow, no pun intended, with the bed slid in, what problems are you having getting into and out of bed? Your video adds to my thoughts about the layout of living room, and having guests come in and stay for awhile, and just how that layout should be handled. You give alot of into. that gives people something to think about. Do you pull a trailer with this, or, is it single. As this will be our first rv, never having owned one, here in Texas, it will require a class a being both truck and trailer will be over 26,000 pds. where to get experience driving mine, and then taking the test, which will be easy, as logic mixed with a little experience should make driving easier. All and all, well done. Thank you for the great video. SCOTTISHXPRIDE, TEXAS.
Man I do like the Seneca's a whole lot but looking at the prices for this rig I don't think I will be able to afford one of these without having a payment. I am currently living in a fifth wheel which I really like and I am comfortable in but it is too big for me (38 ft) so I am looking to switch over to a C or A and have been looking around.
Fifth wheels I think have a much more "homey" feel. My Seneca is also WAY big for just me know, but it is paid for so I have no plans to change at the moment. One day I would like to go much smaller, really would lean towards a small C of even an overland type rig to allow me to get even further out in nature.
Class C could probably work better but an Overland vehicle it is too small for me. I want to be comfortable. With that Jeep of yours a smaller C would be perfect. I do understand that it is difficult to change once your rig is all paid off.
As for your fueling needs, just pull into truck fueling at any major truck stop/travel center and you can fill both tanks simultaneously and with greater speed than the automobile diesel filling area. Im a semi driver so I know how having tanks on both sides of the vehicle is. You might piss off a trucker or two but they'll live.
I assume the RV quality adds to the resale value, as well as the purchase price. The features, collectively, add long term dependable value, which, to me, is a big plus. My brothers older RV, came complete with recommended travel routes, with repair shops being the key focus obviously, as most trips required a pit stop or two along the way.
Excellent video. Love the Super C's. We currently have a Forester 3011DS. Now considering full time and looking at Supers. How does your Super drive. Tracking, ride, wind affect, and overall driver confidence. Although our current C handles better on the road than our others, I still find myself becoming pretty tired after 150-200 miles. Comments on your driving experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
+HDLowrider I really like the driving experience. I previously had a 2006 Seneca on the Kodiak chassis and it was okay. The Freightliner is amazing. Very little effect from the wind, tracks very well and I can drive for many hours with no fatigue. All that said, I have not driven a class A for long distance, so cannot really speak to how it compares.
Thank you. That's what I thought. I've driven some class A's and I think you would need a tag axle to get the same driving experience you do with the Super C.
Thanks for the great video, and for all the others in your series. I'm about to purchase a 2016 Seneca 37FS. It has about 6, 000 miles and seems to be in great shape. Any advice?
I had a 2005 Seneca and it had a bad problem with giving off fumes from the inside material and manufacturing process. If left closed on a hot day the fumes would burn your lungs and eyes. I used to run in and put the exhaust fans on and open the windows and run out while holding my breath. It took 10 or 15 minutes to clear out the bad air. I noticed the same smell on a newer unit at a RV show. Have you noticed any VOCs smell in your unit.
Wow, that would be terrible! I purchased mine already two years old, I did not notice any offgassing at all. It must have all finished before I took possession.
Another plus for the Super c is it is easier to find a shop to work on the mechanicals. Hard to find shops to work on pushers, so they discourage owners by jacking up rates for repairs.
With the internet it is possible to work from just about any location. Many have found jobs that allow them to work remotely. While some may be retired, a great many of us still work to support ourselves
Really liked this video - well done. Researching the Jayco Seneca (bunk model). Learned so much and appreciate the pros and cons and such great detail in what to consider. Can I ask your opinion on diesel vs. not - it used to be known that prices were cheaper, any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks again for taking the time to share :)
Glad you got some value from the video. As far as the super C goes, I have been happy to have the diesel engine. The extra torque makes long uphill climbs bearable. I have friends with gas engines and they often disconnect their tow vehicle and drive both vehicles up steep grades. While I still climb steep grades slowly, I am able to run at low RPM and the engine does great.
Loved your video, Is the bedroom useable with the slide in? I was hoping your video would show that. Also, with the refrigerator so close to the passenger is it noisy going down the road (containers bouncing around in refig?) Is the cab area noisy/hot because of the engine?
+Moira Jones the bed does go about 6" under the closet when the slide is in. I am 6' tall and can still sleep in the bed alright with it in. I have never really noticed and noise from the fridge, it all seems to stay pretty solid in there.
Did that thermostat in the bedroom really read 87°? Must be a dry climate lol... great looking rv, I've got the wifey on board for this I can't wait to start traveling again
Wonderful video!!!!! Would like to see a video on driving your RV..... husband and I are wanting to start living our retirement adventure.... neither one of us have ever drove an RV... any thoughts suggestions....
We are just getting ready to. It a class a motorhome. We like the big window... we are both retiring and taking to the full time nomad life style. "A bit scary". Did you ever want a class A ? Will this feel sturdier and seem not so cheap?
I have looked at many class A units, and for some reason have always just been drawn to the class c. I think part of me just likes to feel of the truck when I drive. Really just a personal preference.
Looking at RVs and I really like the Class C. Though I keep reading how the overhead bunk ends up leaking. Have you come across this and do you do anything to avoid these problems?
This is my third class c, had a 1996 Coachmen, 2006 Seneca and my current 2013 Seneca. Have not had any leak issues. I do keep a close eye on my roof and make sure to fix any gaps in sealant or areas I think could become a problem.
Awesome video... Can the couch fold out into a bed? This is the most helpful video; pros and cons (as opposed to dealers only telling positives)... Great job
You mentioned gravel roads and boondocking off road. Is 4x4 capability something you would find useful in comparison to an otherwise comparable Super C?
Old video but I'm glad I found it since I am interested in Super Cs.Have you had any problems with the interior construction? Things like upholstery, cabinets or wall panels? When I heard the intro music I thought I clicked on the wrong channel.
It really came down to my past experience with Jayco (we owned a 2006 Seneca from brand new) and their customer service. I was happy with how they treated me and felt if was worth the loyalty. It also did not hurt that the Seneca was still considerably less expensive than the Dynamax.
Does the passenger side fuel tank empty before the driver's side tank? Or do they more or less empty simultaneously? If the passenger side empties first, then one can stop to fuel up when half-empty and not have to bother with the driver's side. I understand this will not always be convenient, but could improve things for you. I just purchased a new Seneca 37FS and I haven't had time to test out this idea yet.
It has a system called "equiflow" that actually pumps fuel over from the passenger side to the drivers to keep the tanks more or less even. If you are driving under heavy load climbing hills and such, it barley keeps up. But, once you stop, within two to three moments it shuts off and has the tanks level. It is sort of a bummer, really the one frustrating thing about the rig.
If your going to replace the one couch and put in two chairs, do that first then all you have to do is move the dining table up the left and make a larger table
hey just found youre channel, i agree that the super c rvs look much better than the class a, but they r much more expensive. If u really want an rv without slides, look for german brands :)
I have been doing that. Just hate the fact that the fuel is always a little more expensive, but I have gotten used to it. Plus it is nice to have DEF at the pump as well.
Looking at Super C's for my mother, she wants to full time RV here soon as my father passed a couple yrs ago and all the children live on separate coasts. Been bouncing back and forth between the Seneca and the GS Supernova. In your opinion, how was the handling and comfort between the 2013 model and the 2006 model you had? Thanks.
+Justin Jacobs I think the handling is much better on the 2013. I think the Freightliner chassis is just a bit more robust than the Kodiak. It handles the wind like it is not even there. I think about of it has to do with the 22.5" tires vs the 19.5". The 2006 was not bad, just feel the larger chassis handles more smoothly.
How underpowered was the Chevy vs the Freightliner? I see a lot of the Chevy Chassis for sale, but don’t think it will work as nice as the class 6 chassis’ offered by Freightliner or International. What are your thoughts since you have had both?
Great video! I am looking at a Super C for full-timing in the near future. I really want to be able to boondock and see from your videos that you do that a lot, but am curious about how difficult it is to get a rig of that size into a lot of places. Have you found that to be a problem? Thx!
I've had the Seneca into some crazy places. Just what your stomach can take! I try to keep from twisting the frame at all, so it often just takes some careful planning and driving!

Thanks so much, tried hard to cover all that I could think of.
thanks for the walk thru... We bought a 2015 earlier this year and love it. Ours has a few changes in just the two model years, but really like the second bathroom door.
I really enjoyed ours. Did sell if a couple years ago to downsize, but the Seneca was great!
I used to drive truck, and I was going to make the suggestion of using a truck stop because of the slave pump, but you beat me to it.
Grad the video at least gave you some food for thought. I tried to cover all I could think of.

Thanks for the props! It is a PITA to keep clean, but I try to do the best possible.
Hands down, the best and most informative review I have found so far
Thank you! Appreciate it.
Thanks so much, I really enjoyed making it and glad it has been helpful!
Outstanding video. You really did a great job covering things and it's good that you mention cons as well as pros. The Seneca is very impressive and it seems that the manufacturer has listened to their customers and to people like yourselves that spend a great deal of time in their RV's. Well done.
Thank you very much, hope it was helpful

Thanks again for the video.
They did take care of many of my concerns with that new chassis, I think it is a big improvement

Excellent video! We have a 2013 Jayco Embark that we love. We tow a 20’ stacker trailer and pulls like a dream, the coach is perfect us two.
I do wish I would have gone with the Embark, much better chassis
Great review! Just some of the items you mentioned made me think of questions to add to my list for any RV.
Thanks, hopefully I gave some good food for thought
Thank you for your insight. This was a helpful and practical review. My wife and I are looking at similar units. Thanks again.
You are more than welcome, glad I can share my experience
Excellent Job! And gorgeous coach! I have a Tiffin Phateon 40’ now. Being an over the road truck driver/owner for 30 years and familiar with the hoods and cabovers, I wish now I would have looked at these before I bought my class A. The ease of engine maintenance alone is enough reason to choose this over a class A... I am all in with my Tiffin so I will probably never own one like this. But my advice to anyone looking for a diesel motorhome, do your homework on all styles before writing the check!! Don’t do like me and buy the first one that trips your trigger.
Well said!
thanks for info very important things you covered no one else has the one about the thermostat thanks again.
You bet, thanks for watching!
Best video I have seen. Looking to buy and RV and this helps a lot!
Thanks so much, glad I could provide some info that was helpful. Hope to do a two year review soon!
The newer LED tv that I used did help the issue ALOT
Awesome review! I wish most folks had your same style in their reviews. We are in market now for 25’. Super c is awesome but too big for us. Just wish the new c class units I’ve seen weren’t made so poorly. Yours looks awesome!
Thanks for the props and hope you find a unit that works for you!
Cheers!
Thanks so much, glad you got some good info from the video!
Thanks for the props! I really should make another update. I have been living fulltime in it for about 2 1/2 years and still love it.
Excellent and most informative video. Thanks for all of the great details!
My pleasure
Fabulous review! Great job! We have decided on a super c... and you sealed the deal. Thank you. Robert & Heather
Glad I could share my experience. Hopefully you are enjoying your new unit. What type did you get??
Beautiful coach. Just subscribed. I really appreciate your open and honest presentation
More than welcome, glad I was able to provide the info
Very good job on delivering some good information. I currently have a class A. I would like to hear some of your opinions on how a super C handles compared to a class A. Sway, cornering ect.
I have never owned a class A, so I am no help on that front
Hi
I watched this video in the U K and I am really envious of your RV although it may be a little to big for our road system but none the less I would love to have one , great video by the way 👍
Great review.
Thanks for this video. Answers lots of questions and highlights things to look for
Thanks so much, glad to put the information out there
Great video and you seem to be honest about the pros and cons of the motor home. Good luck and again, thanks for sharing
You are more than welcome! Tried my best to be honest and cover all I could think of.
Great video, those super c’s are awesome! I️ really like the look of the 06 model you had the truck up front just looks beefy.
The 06' was also a great rig!
Thank you for a very fair and balanced Freightliner/Cummings Jayco Seneca review. I currently am I very satisfied 2008 Jayco Seneca owner who is ready
to move up to a new or newer Freightliner Seneca.
FANTASTIC, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOVE THE CRUCIFIX!!!!!!!!!!!from Australia
Thanks for noticing!
Most Truck Stop Fuel Island have DUAL Pumps. One Main Pump & Satellite Pump. You can Fill Both at Same Time. You Got a Killer M2 Freightliner. I Drive a M2 Business Class Straight & Flatbed Truck
Robert Stuart also the pumps are kick ass at truck stops fills up super quick
I do use the truck stops mostly, like the quick fill ups. Just annoyed the fuel usually costs me more.
Excellent video. Very informative and insightful on the ins and outs of really using the coach.
+Steve Davies glad you found the info useful!!
(Same size tanks on my truck, so I know the timing.)
Good luck. I hope you do not take this as condescending, it is not intended that way.
Just don't like that I pay more for the fuel. Truck stops are more expensive about every single time. Convenient to fuel quickly and using two pumps, but it burns me to pay more.
The Kuhl Odyssey
That is fair enough.
Beautiful looking RIG I just purchased my first class C dream one day to have a super class C.
They are a great choice
Glad it gave you some food for thought. Based on this late response, hopefully you have a rig by now. Would love to hear what you decided on.
Very good video!! You are very informative & brought up great ideas & things for my husband & I to consider when we shop for another RV. Thank U~!
Glad I could provide some help from my experience
I love your way of life. Thank you for sharing xxxx
You are more than welcome, thanks for watching
As for your fueling needs, just pull into truck fueling at any major truck stop/travel center and you can fill both tanks simultaneously and with greater speed than the automobile diesel filling area. Im a semi driver so I know how having tanks on both sides of the vehicle is. You might piss off a trucker or two but they'll live.
That is what I do, just sucks that the fuel is usually more expensive
you can thank the government for the high fuel tax. bastards
Well that would certainly be handy
Wonderful review, a very nice and cozy Rv! Top
Thanks so much, glad to share
Truck stops are so much easier pull in where the semis pull in and you can fill both tanks at 6-8 gallons a minute at same time
Totally agree, just hate that I always seem to pay more to use the truck stops
The Kuhl Odyssey did you join their rewards program so you get the fuel discount at pilot truck stops they have one designed for rv owners
Thanks for the great video, and for all the others in your series. I'm about to purchase a 2016 Seneca 37FS. It has about 6, 000 miles and seems to be in great shape. Any advice?
Nothing off the top of my head, sure you will Love it. Still very happy with mine another year plus later.
What is the price range on these rigs?
LOVE ALL YOUR UTUBEVIEDOS BEEN A FAN FOR YEARS
Thanks so much. Have been absent for a while, but hope to get some new content out soon
Good point!
Am I missing something? These folks are still young people (working age). Are all these independently wealthy to full time live in an rv?
Thank You so much for such a HELPFUL reply.
Have you looked at Furion I think they are called they put them in the Jayco now they are the other RV tvs
Those Furion on very nice new appliances
Great review. Thanks!
Your more than welcome
It was a pretty warm day when I made that video! Arizona tends to be on the dry side for sure. Hope you make it out on the open road soon.
Wonderful video!!!!! Would like to see a video on driving your RV..... husband and I are wanting to start living our retirement adventure.... neither one of us have ever drove an RV... any thoughts suggestions....
Really takes very little time to get used to it. Just takes some miles.
Those 22.5” wheels. Awesome upgrade
The 22.5" are actually standard on the newer units. I think after 2012 is when they were all changed to 22.5". Agree, love the larger wheels so much
Thanks to your video, I have found the one!!! (Been shopping for over a year now lol)
Awesome, hope you enjoy it
Awesome video... Can the couch fold out into a bed? This is the most helpful video; pros and cons (as opposed to dealers only telling positives)... Great job
Thanks so much! Yes the couch had a fold out sofa bed with a mattress. It has since been removed in favor of recliners.
thank you for an honest appraisal of your unit
+USA4US you are more than welcome!
When I heard the intro music I thought I clicked on the wrong channel.
super informative thank you. Why did you choose the Seneca versus a Dynamax?
It really came down to my past experience with Jayco (we owned a 2006 Seneca from brand new) and their customer service. I was happy with how they treated me and felt if was worth the loyalty. It also did not hurt that the Seneca was still considerably less expensive than the Dynamax.
Fuel tanks are 75 gallons, or about $220+ per fill up. Or a small car monthly payment per fill up. Nice!
It is hard to choke down sometimes. But, it is my house
That would work as well
Thank you, Kurt....well done!
You are more than welcome
kirk i love all ypur viedos they are juat so great gary
Thanks so much. I hope to get back to new videos very soon.
great review..thanks...looks very nice
Thank you very much
We are on our 4th rv. Have never not had issues with our slides. Kitchen slides are the worst.
They can be a problem
hey just found youre channel, i agree that the super c rvs look much better than the class a, but they r much more expensive. If u really want an rv without slides, look for german brands :)
They do have some cool rigs in other parts of the world. Hope to someday go and explore in one of those!
Try using truck stops to refuel. They have duel pumps to fill each side at once.
I have been doing that. Just hate the fact that the fuel is always a little more expensive, but I have gotten used to it. Plus it is nice to have DEF at the pump as well.
Thank you; perfect review!
+Thansk, hopefully it provided some good info!John Coyne
Great review. Merry Christmas!
Thanks so much, sorry I am late on the response
I agree, love the looks of Super C's
It was a great rig, still miss that one
Nice RV, love it, I'm a a truck driver so that would fit me fine lol, .... what's the price tag on something like that ?
I think the new ones are in the $250k range, but used you can find them very reasonable well below $125k
Trading my 2017 Alante that is just ok for a 2006 Seneca. The '06 Seneca is built much better. Giving $60k for the '06 Seneca.
Thanks for the review of your super c.
Glad to do it!
