It ain’t typical. She just got lucky is all. Spartans are not considered people they’re military assets and thus essentially war slaves. They’re not allowed to leave on any normal circumstances.
From halo legends there's cal-141 and O'Brien, although they didn't have any romantic hints in the eposode and she did die following a chieftain's gravity hammer hitting the side of her head and on her shoulder, the fans still ship them, with him being the regular human sized odst sniper and having a 6ft 7in muscle mommy spartan II gf.
Eeh. In both of those situations, they all fell in love before the augmentations so it's not the exact same situation. Also, they're IV's, which are basically just extra beefy humans, not the superhuman monsters that were the II's or III's. Unlike the previous generations, the IV's didn't have their emotional development cut short and beaten out of them, mentally they're normal people.

Jai and Adriana didn’t want to lose each other and decided to stay. They are still close even after their augmentation
Newer Spartans, yes. (With the exception of Spartan-I's since Johnson knows what the ladies like.) But it's harder for Spartan-II's since they were hit the hardest with the psychological conditioning. Even Master Chief shows with his stoic manner in the Bungie trilogy, but his body language still presents a plethera of thoughts going through his mind that the novels address.
I know people would be Kelly and John as a couple, but I only saw them as a brother and sister type of relationship because of how Kelly treated John. Funny though, in First Strike, Linda seemed to have the most faith in John when Fred and Kelly had doubts.
Then you also remember the entire Created Conflict is because a SPARTAN and an AI have some relationship troubles and the entire galaxy is in the crossfire.
Buck is like the perfect example of this. In an epilogue story of Halo 5, Buck and Veronica finally tie the knot in a bar onboard the Infinity, with Fireteam Osiris in attendance. Edit: Roland, infinity’s AI, was also the one presiding over it and Alpha-9, buck’s other team, was in attendance as well.
Now imagine this scenario: You're just some normal marine rookie. You're sent to some planet to fight the covenant. You are reinforced by two spartans and you can literally see how fast the fight shifted from barely holding the enemy back to outright kicking back into their ships. The fight is over. You look around and see dead elites, bunch a grunts scattered around, couple of brutes laying near a brute choppa and some of your fellow marines. You're happy that you survived and then you look for the spartans. You turn around and see how the female looking one is hugging the male lookin one in a obviously loving manner. You just watched them run about as fast as a warthog, drop elites left and right without a single shot and kick the brutes assess so hard, that for a brief moment it looks like they are dancing with it. And then you see them hug eachother like nothing of it happened. In a way, if you think about it, it gotta be the most human thing about spartans, because at end of the day, they are. Multi billion 1000 pounds humans.
@@dieguit0ohe’s had 3 main romantic interests, a girl when he was younger that I forget the name of currently, Kelly, and Cortana. Cortana being the only one that’s remained consistent, as the girl kinda sort of has a rocket place in canon. There’s stuff that says she for sure exists and now works in Oni, and others that say she simply doesn’t exist at all (Have to check in to which parts are exactly canon), and Kelly changes, sometimes she’s portrayed as an interest, other times it’s just his close friend and teammate.
I could be wrong but I think in one of the books or comics that takes place within a few years after their augmentations its hinted at that John and Kelly developed feelings for each other but didn't act on it because they felt it was unnecessary, or get in the way.
They throw out the possible feelings between the two a few times. Kelly is clearly one of his three love interests, granted the other is an AI (That is the more consistent romantic interest then all funny enough) and the other is a girl from John’s childhood said to NOT be any Spartan, but someone who just…stayed behind (But then they fight on whether or not she exists, and or what she’s doing)
Spartans can love other spartans but only in a siblings type of way. A siblings relationship is the best relationships you can get and I'm grateful to have one
Over all, yes, as I'd bet all the Spartan IIs love each other as siblings since they've all known each other since they were all six years old, and even somewhat normal military actions tend to forge sibling-esque bonds and affection in conventional forces. After all, I'd bet that Buck loved the other members of Alpha-9 like they were his own sons.
The thing about Maria-062 is that due to the muscle augmentations targeting *all* muscles on the human body to operate with 3 times of the strength of the human body in a non linear way, but explosive meaning her muscle strength may have Ben multiplied 3000 fold, master chief in the novels was able to there chuck vehicles at enemies to slay them ,her pelvic floor muscles may have become similar to spring locks one wrong move or Maria sneezing could set them off So her *leg lock* would probably crush bone if done with non measured strength But what can I say high risk high reward even if it means the very risk of having your pelvis Turing into flour

Spartan-IVs make sense not to have feelings for each other but also still maybe, cause they don't have augmentation so they were either prone to falling in love or they were so dedicated that they didn't.
I feel like the lack of new weapons would be less of a problem if some of the existing guns like the Plasma Pistol were actually useful, because then there would be more variation in weapon usage

Maybe, but more than likely they wouldn’t have. Going by the writings, yeah they really had no crazy interest in it. Even then they foresaw Kelly x John if anything…which they like flip flopping on funny enough (But to be fair they do that with another of Chief’s possible interests to, Cortana is the only one that remained consistent)
There's also Naomi-010! It's heavily implied that she and Vasily Beloi have feelings for each other, and even Staffan (Naomis father) seemed to catch on.

Just feel the need to point out that, for humans(in this particular conversation), asexual does NOT mean aromantic. A lack of sexual attraction does not always mean a lack of romantic attraction. I would say it's entirely plausible that if Spartans were sterile or asexual as a result of their augmentations, they could still develop romantic feelings and/or relationships.
Master Chief and Cortana are the only human/ai romance I approve of simply cuz they’re both probably incapable of having a normal relationship with anyone else and even if Cortana is a bit of a messed up individual Chief deserves to be happy and I can’t imagine him ever being able to open up with anyone else in the way he was with her. Despite Cortana’s questionable actions, I do believe she’s redeemable if 343 decided to put in the work. What they did to her in Infinite was honestly just disgusting. Especially now that we know for a fact that she was manipulated by the gravemind thanks to Halo: Epitaph. I hope she comes back at some point but not too soon as all the past three games had her at the center of the plot and I feel like we all need a break from that first if we’re ever going to take another resurrection seriously.

That's absolutely Chief and Kelly. You can see the 17 which is more than likely the end of 117 obviously and the other spartan has EVA on for the helmet which Kelly wore. It's all just a guess, educated that it may be, but I'm pretty confident in my assumptions.
Y’all are just gonna forget that one of the augmentations literally completely removed sex drive in the majority of all Spartan 2’s and some of the earlier Spartan 3’s. (There were some that only had their sex drives suppressed by medical injections.) Or did 343 Retcon that as well. Your Spartan 4 can reproduce no problem they just need to take off their armor. There was no augmentations done to alter anything.
I don't think the Gen 1, 2, or 3 augmentations have a generic component. Even if they did they could have been applied to just the somatic (body) cells and not the germ (reproductive) cells meaning they would not be passed on to offspring.
Yes, but only the members of project: Orion, also know as Spartan-I. Such as Sargent Johnson. And those of the Spartan-IV program, as both of these projects used gene therapy. However, the children of the Orion project are known as Spartan-I.Is. The genetic birth upgrades include: Enhanced immune system, incredible memory/intellectual prowess, boosted strength/ speed. Though it's yet to be confirmed, Spartan-IV children might receive a bump in life, it would not be to the same extent, as the gene therapy in THAT program is far less important then it was to Orion. They could receive a minor boost in all the same categories, receive only one of the perks of being S-IV.I, or receive a minor boost in one of the perks. It's a total crapshoot man.
It did with the Orion program (Spartan 1s), their children had a notable enhancement over other kids. Tho not enough to be super soldiers themselves. I would imagine a child born of the Spartan 2s or 3s would be even more enhanced given how much more the Spartans were altered themselves.

They was brainwashed and that means that their mission was everything, all, an absolute, a dogma. Something like breathing or even more absolute. And naturally their members saw themselves as brothers and sisters. For what concerns the sequent programs, it could be true for Spartan IV, but still rare for Spartan III. Really professional supersoldiers. I mean, stuff that will put in shame even our Special Forces. They're not usual humans. You know that.

You're just some normal marine rookie. You're sent to some planet to fight the covenant. You are reinforced by two spartans and you can literally see how fast the fight shifted from barely holding the enemy back to outright kicking back into their ships. The fight is over. You look around and see dead elites, bunch a grunts scattered around, couple of brutes laying near a brute choppa and some of your fellow marines. You're happy that you survived and then you look for the spartans. You turn around and see how the female looking one is hugging the male lookin one in a obviously loving manner. You just watched them run about as fast as a warthog, drop elites left and right without a single shot and kick the brutes assess so hard, that for a brief moment it looks like they are dancing with it. And then you see them hug eachother like nothing of it happened. In a way, if you think about it, it gotta be the most human thing about spartans, because at end of the day, they are. Multi billion 1000 pounds humans.

Cortana being the only one that’s remained consistent, as the girl kinda sort of has a rocket place in canon. There’s stuff that says she for sure exists and now works in Oni, and others that say she simply doesn’t exist at all (Have to check in to which parts are exactly canon), and Kelly changes, sometimes she’s portrayed as an interest, other times it’s just his close friend and teammate.
You forget how John abandoned his post for Cortana, because why not.

I could be wrong but I think in one of the books or comics that takes place within a few years after their augmentations its hinted at that John and Kelly developed feelings for each other but didn't act on it because they felt it was unnecessary, or get in the way.
They throw out the possible feelings between the two a few times. Kelly is clearly one of his three love interests, granted the other is an AI (That is the more consistent romantic interest then all funny enough) and the other is a girl from John’s childhood said to NOT be any Spartan, but someone who just…stayed behind (But then they fight on whether or not she exists, and or what she’s doing)

Gen IV Spartans are fundamentally different from the gen IIs and IIIs. Their ability to have normal relationships is abnormal among the older gens.
Spartans can love other spartans but only in a siblings type of way. A siblings relationship is the best relationships you can get and I'm grateful to have one

Over all, yes, as I'd bet all the Spartan IIs love each other as siblings since they've all known each other since they were all six years old, and even somewhat normal military actions tend to forge sibling-esque bonds and affection in conventional forces. After all, I'd bet that Buck loved the other members of Alpha-9 like they were his own sons.

The thing about Maria-062 is that due to the muscle augmentations targeting *all* muscles on the human body to operate with 3 times of the strength of the human body in a non linear way, but explosive meaning her muscle strength may have Ben multiplied 3000 fold, master chief in the novels

Spartan-IVs make sense not to have feelings for each other but also still maybe, cause they don't have augmentation so they were either prone to falling in love or they were so dedicated that they didn't.
I feel like the lack of new weapons would be less of a problem if some of the existing guns like the Plasma Pistol were actually useful, because then there would be more variation in weapon usage

Just feel the need to point out that, for humans(in this particular conversation), asexual does NOT mean aromantic. A lack of sexual attraction does not always mean a lack of romantic attraction. I would say it's entirely plausible that if Spartans were sterile or asexual as a result of their augmentations, they could still develop romantic feelings and/or relationships.

Master Chief and Cortana are the only human/ai romance I approve of simply cuz they’re both probably incapable of having a normal relationship with anyone else and even if Cortana is a bit of a messed up individual Chief deserves to be happy and I can’t imagine him ever being able to open up with anyone else in the way he was with her.
Despite Cortana’s questionable actions, I do believe she’s redeemable if 343 decided to put in the work. What they did to her in Infinite was honestly just disgusting. Especially now that we know for a fact that she was manipulated by the gravemind thanks to Halo: Epitaph.
I hope she comes back at some point but not too soon as all the past three games had her at the center of the plot and I feel like we all need a break from that first if we’re ever going to take another resurrection seriously.

That's absolutely Chief and Kelly. You can see the 17 which is more than likely the end of 117 obviously and the other spartan has EVA on for the helmet which Kelly wore. It's all just a guess, educated that it may be, but I'm pretty confident in my assumptions.
Y’all are just gonna forget that one of the augmentations literally completely removed sex drive in the majority of all Spartan 2’s and some of the earlier Spartan 3’s.
(There were some that only had their sex drives suppressed by medical injections.)

Your Spartan 4 can reproduce no problem they just need to take off their armor. There was no augmentations done to alter anything.
That one augment only had a chance of reducing their sex drive but thats all and so far the only one confirmed to be effected by it is Naomi.

I don't think the Gen 1, 2, or 3 augmentations have a generic component. Even if they did they could have been applied to just the somatic (body) cells and not the germ (reproductive) cells meaning they would not be passed on to offspring.
Yes, but only the members of project: Orion, also know as Spartan-I. Such as Sargent Johnson. And those of the Spartan-IV program, as both of these projects used gene therapy. However, the children of the Orion project are known as Spartan-I.Is. The genetic birth upgrades include: Enhanced immune system, incredible memory/intellectual prowess, boosted strength/ speed. Though it's yet to be confirmed, Spartan-IV children might receive a bump in life, it would not be to the same extent, as the gene therapy in THAT program is far less important then it was to Orion. They could receive a minor boost in all the same categories, receive only one of the perks of being S-IV.I, or receive a minor boost in one of the perks. It's a total crapshoot man.
It did with the Orion program (Spartan 1s), their children had a notable enhancement over other kids. Tho not enough to be super soldiers themselves. I would imagine a child born of the Spartan 2s or 3s would be even more enhanced given how much more the Spartans were altered themselves.
