the dedication of these girls just to cover BINI song is very difficult for them but they push it because they appreciate BINI. And I loved them already❣️..

Filipino language is voted 'sexiest language / accent in asia' from an international travel website. not surprised why a lot of non-tagalog speakers love the sound of it, in loves songs, pop, rap...or even movies. even songs like 'da coconut nut', 'rosas pandan', 'paru parung bukid' and other filipino folks songs are used by choirs from around the world as their competition piece. so guys go whisper in your partner's ear now in a low, whispery tone...'mahal na mahal kita'...

To be fair hindi proper Filipino yung examples sa replies. Diyabetis/Dyabetis like Diyos saka Pipino for Cucumber.
Sorry ayaw ko sana maging grammar police. Natrigger lang yung inner teacher ko, babagsakin din ako sa filipino.

Filipinos are great impersonators. They can easily sing any foreign song once learned. Pronunciations eill not be a trouble

what is interesting is that Gehlee and Elisia are coaching the girls not only in the Tagalog parts of the song but also in the English ones.

Its refreshing hearing Tagalog from a foreigner's perspective! 😊 Details that we don't even think about are brought to light by those learning the it! Like intonations and repeated sylables. So cool! 😊
Tagalog is a mixture of Spanish, English, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Malay etc. Highly influenced by our conquerors... 😮

    • @kasa-ysayan
      @kasa-ysayan 3 місяці тому

Saying Tagalog is a mixture of those languages is very misleading.
Tagalog vocabulary has loanwords from English, Spanish, and Chinese. That's for certain. But Malay, Tagalog, and Indonesian are from the same language family. That's like saying French is a mixture of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.

Awww I wish you'd reacted to one of the fancam versions of this video instead, especially on the first day in Manila. I think you can only truly appreciate the humor of this BTS with the audience laughing and chearing in the background with you 😂 Either way, ty for this video. Your reactions are always so much fun to watch. Mirrors my own humor as well 😁

    Nawawala means disappearing
    Ang means the
    Pangangamba means troubles
Kapag means when(an event not a time)
ika'y (or ikaw ay) means you (ikaw) is (ay)
    Kapiling means together
    Kapiling na means already together
So the sentence saying (kapag ika'y kapiling na) is not a fully proper Tagalog because of the absence of some subject but it is a common sense for most of us that when we say (when we are together) we understood that it means you and ME and not only you because if it's only you then it is (alone) and not (together).
Kapag ika'y kapiling na means When we are already together/ when i'm with you.

We Filipinos also have difficult words that even we find it hard to pronounce or understand. So we understand the non-native and appreciate their effort to learn the language.

You are right Pierre, with the repeated syllables in tagalog 😆
We love to repeat syllables that we even adapt it to common Filipino nicknames, example: Jayjay, Macmac, Lenlen, Totoy, Junjun, Nene and tons more 😂
