Watching you brings back the best memories of my two boys-and I was pregnant with my third like you, they were about the same ages as your boys when I was pregnant with my daughter..I remember doing all the things I could while working full time. I wish I could go back in time and relive these days . I’m literally tearing up watching you..I lost my middle son at age 19, 3 years ago. I live in the past so much and I hope I get to do it all over again someday. Maybe that’s my little piece of heaven that awaits me beyond the veil. I’m here for now to help my other two through... I find your channel so soothing to watch. God bless!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. We lost our daughter Shanna 5 years ago October 8th...she was 37. We were in the process of adopting our daughter Payton. The adoption was finalized just 9 days after Shanna's death. Payton is 6 now and has been a blessing but we miss Shanna so much. We're older parents but she keeps us hopping.

Here in Hawaii we call mother in law suites "ohanas". They are the perfect rental for young people. Often a friendship forms between the tenant and landlords given the closeness. I can totally envision a farm hand staying in that cottage. So beautiful!

My goodness Lisa… You amaze me with your energy level this far along in your pregnancy. I love seeing how your children all dive into helping …even little Daniel was helping the milk COME OUT FASTER by lifting the jug….LOL!!! Whether that was a “welcomed” help or not…HE enjoyed it! If you're looking for a sit down video idea, could you talk about how you and Luke evolved as a couple? I would assume you had the "natural itch" as a younger person, but did you ever see yourself as a homebirthing, mini-homesteading, homeschooling family? What conversations did you and Luke have while dating? How did the two of you get to this place together? I would assume it was a desire on both of your hearts.

Hey Lisa! I know you love to ferment for nutritional purposes. Have you ever soaked your rice overnight? Much easier on the gut and decreases the antinutrients. Just put the amount of rice you want in a bowl with enough water to cover and add a tablespoon or so of an acid (vinegar, whey, yogurt, you choose)! Tastes so good when you cook it the next day with bone broth!

You are inspiring! May I offer some advice, your cutting board slides a little when you chop all your delicious food. One way to stop it sliding is to put a damp towel under it. Happy chopping! With love from Australia
Even a damp paper towel will stabilize the cutting board, works for me!
I appreciate your tip. I have been using a piece of the rubbery shelf liner and think the damp towel will work much better for me.

Your new sidewalks are going to be so pretty!🌸 I used to make kefir from farm fresh milk when I still ate dairy. I have water kefir grains in my refrigerator right now to make coconut milk kefir, but, I don't know when I'll get to it, lol. Seeing you make yours is good motivation🌸

I had to laugh about those little fingers just having to touch the pouring milk. I know it can be kind of annoying, but looking on, it’s so cute!! And also about the tape… If my three year old gets ahold of some tape, he literally tapes the house all up, lol.

I think had you not spent so much money on the gables and roof extension for the door? And close it up and reopened where the original was you could of put in a nice set of french doors which would of brought more light and opened the house to more space,that being outside !!!!!!! could of put in an extended roof the length of the cottage put in a small flag stone patio put in an outdoor kitchen the possibilities are endless I mean a wrap around porch lol. At any rate I myself would of been looking to put in a set of french doors =)

Do you have a video showing your office area? I'm very curious about the cabinets that enclose your computer! We have no extra rooms for an office / desk / homeschool area. Our desks are on the wall parallel to our dining table which is open with the kitchen and it all just feels chaotic.

I found a You Tube DIY water purifier that’s so reasonably priced…..it would make a nice addition to your cottage with maybe a little tea and coffee cupboard for visitors….especially using her idea you can make it the size you would like…..check it out….I’m making one for my art studio for my daughters when they come to paint…👍😀

I’ve been watching your channel for awhile now. I love it:) I was wondering, maybe you have videos on this, but could you show a day in the life with time stamps? We have a farm too and I’m currently on a morning milk schedule. I have six kids too with #7 due in the spring. I feel I’ve worked out a good schedule... but I’m still struggling with the time. I feel I’m always getting breakfast finished too late and my milking chores too late. I catch up at supper but I’m just curious the time frames you might have set for say: breakfast, milking, school, meals... I tend to get overwhelmed sometimes, especially when I’m not feeling well, when planning our schedules. I’d love a video showing that but that’s ok too if it’s not something you want to share:) ❤️❤️

I usually get the refined coconut oil. It doesn't have any smell or taste to it.

I think she said that they don’t get enough cream to make butter. They use the cream for cooking/coffee, etc.

You found a diamond in the rough with that builder! I'm in Northeast Ohio and I'm having a terrible time finding quality craftsmen. I'm 27wks along with my 4th, so I'm quite limited in my capabilities for now. Anyway, everything looks amazing! I can't wait to see the finished touches!

Oh, as you spoke to us I could see your bedroom in the background on the first floor. That’s great for when your seventh child arrives. Will make your life so much easier and serene. Thank goodness 😅 you have so much accomplished before the baby’s arrival. Everything looks lovely. I know children can get in your hair and can be quite a handful that we don’t get to view. But, compare to other children I see on UA-cam who are being raised with so much child psychological jargon, your children actually are quite well-behaved.
