I personally always loved Federer, but Djokovic for sure earned not only best tennis player of all time, but respect for everything he has done for the sport.
Djokovic gave his all but when his injury from the previous match with Alcaraz began bothering him, he knew when to stop. I hope its not too serious and that we'll see him in Dubai....
I have always been Fedal Fan but i have a grown to have massive respect and love for Nole. Great Person. Has done unimaginable things in the history of Tennis on and off court. Hope he heals and hope we see him back on court this year soon🗣️🙏🏽🙏🏽
This is why I will never go to the Australian Open ever again: such disgusting and disrespectful behaviour from the fans. I’m an Aussie, so it really pains me to say this, but we have some of the absolute worst sports fans in the world. I might not like Djokovic as a human being, but he has done so much for tennis over the last 20 years, and he deserves all the respect in the world. If he’s injured, people can’t expect him to play. For him to be able to play a full set while injured is courageous and definitely deserves respect. The Australian Government needs to step up and take away people’s rights to boo players. In fact, they should have done it a long time ago while poor Adam Goodes was getting booed everywhere. I hate to say this, but Australian sports fans are disgusting and flat-out disrespectful. If they don’t want to show respect to the players who play for them, then the fans can kiss my ass.
As I read these comments, I realize that people's mentality has not changed for the better. It reminds me of Gladiator fights, and the audience chants: Kill, kill! Thumbs down, the loser should be eliminated. Humanity has not progressed, only in technology that we cannot keep up with. Real progress is in respect and love for each other. Zverev taught everyone a lesson today and showed what a real human being is. Let's follow his example.
What do you mean? The guy was in pain, he did as much as he could. He played for an hour and a half and then decided to prioritise his health which should be paramount anyway. Such an idiotic comment.
@@lejlasalihovic5481 lol have some respect for the fans Who spent hundreds if not thousands of their hard-earned cash to watch. He was moving fine yet still quit the match...
He is a 24 slam champion, so when he walks out he has plenty of attention already. Only one seeking the attention is some crybaby because no one ever gave him attention

No.. you don’t want your last memory of your favourite slam getting booed by the whole crowd.. pls come back next year
It would be more respectful if he walked over without setting foot on the court, he would have earned more respect that way
