How long does it take for one person to rig an Argo, trailer to water? Anyone have any experience sailing an Argo solo?

I have a Topaz Omega, which is a bigger version of Argo. It usually takes 15-20 minutes to fully rig the boat, jib+main+spi. This boats are pretty easy for solo sailing, helm+crew is optimum.

Does anyone actually own this boat? I'm liking it and can't find any forums etc

I bought a brand new Argo last fall (2017) and am sailing it NOW! (2018 summer). Very nice boat. I'm no expert, but I really like this boat! It's BIG(for a dinghy). It's fast. It's stable. It's responsive. I bought the boat in the fall and got a decent discount. My dealer, East Coast Sailboats, Hardy Peters, Kitty Hawk, NC. I'm in NY. We did the deal over the phone with no issues. . Great guy! I highly recommend him. He sent a driver up with my boat on a trailer for a reasonable fee.I'm currently sailing her in Maine on some huge, uncrowded lakes. I started a FB page titled "Topaz Argo Owners". I'd love to hear from people with experience. I have lots of questions and comments. One thing I'll say, the boat comes with very little documentation. This video, as CRYPTIC as it is, was a great help getting started. Still, they don't show how to raise the mast, furl the jib, secure the main sail tack, reefing and more. I highly recommend you try to meet with your dealer in person to get a couple of hours of instruction ... not sailing, but rigging. It'll save you hours of frustration later.

I learnt to sail in the one at East Dorset SC. Very forgiving and fun to sail. Great if you are tall.
