    I’m just watching this for the first time. Over 5 + years later. I enjoyed the video. Good info. Like and a subscribe from me. I just picked up a 2015 ZO6 Blk/Blk Auto back in November 2021. What a fun car. Launch mode is a BLAST. Thanks for the info. Be safe.

    Just a hint... The manual can be very helpful. I've had mine for a tad more than 18 months now and I still learn something new almost every time I look at the manual (which you really need to download to your phone and tablet to make it easily searchable.).

    Wrong remote for the memory seat function. There are two and they must be synced separately

      Thank you for the suggestion. Yes! We will try to incorporate this into our driving portion. Please stay tuned while we work to perfect the video before we release it. Our day jobs have been taking up our time lately. Thanks for watching!

      lol, i drove one and after that i went in our Porsche dealer and hop in a few ones. For me the C7 is very close in materials and finish but the styling is just perfect for the driver; Porsche cant match that.

    This is the best, most honest car review I seen. Especially for a Corvette, by a Corvette owner. And believe me, I've seen A LOT of car reviews!
    Thank you! And keep em coming!

    you actually dont need to place it in reverse to cause the front camera to activate. Go to the home screen and you will have the option of camera's which activates the front and back. At least on mine. Also you can go into the settings menu and change the seat settings to activate the door numbers properly. All this is in the manual. The technology on this vehicle is awesome, it takes a second for the phone/voice to activate. It is a little frustrating but takes a while for you to get used to it....Keep playing you will not be unhappy. .

      Good to know we can activate the camera that way; I'm surprised the guy at Chevy told us the best way to activate the camera was to put the car into reverse. We'll be sure to take a look at the memory seat settings and re-address it in part 2. Thanks for the feedback, be sure to check back soon for more videos!

      The tech on these are so far along...well even the dealerships are still catching up. Just keep playing with it....you will find a ton of info..seriously a ton....watch your tach change with mileage also....

    A couple of FYIs... That's not a key fob holder. That's the slot where you insert the fob when it has a dead battery so you can start your car. As for the memory seats, the first thing it does is move the seat back for the entering position. If the seat is already all the way back, it can't do it's thing. Just sent your entry/exit position to a spot forward of the where you have it and it'll work every time.

    FYI, You do not need to stop to put the car in reverse and then in drive to activate the forward camera. If you are moving forward under 5mph just tap the camera icon on the display.

    Hey everyone, thanks for your patience... Part 2 is up now! Also, thanks for the comments and suggestions. We're just regular guys reviewing a car and commenting on the things we notice... we're not professionals nor do we have any affiliation with the manufacturers, so all of the suggestions about tire pressures and finding info in the manual is greatly appreciated... we're all on the same team here! Thanks for watching!

  • @bobbaird8144
    @bobbaird8144 8 років тому +1

    Also your tire pressures should be 30psi. 35 is too high unless you've gotten them really hot on the track.

      @CRASDFGH 8 років тому

      I was looking for this. that's why they lose traction. They need to be warmed and at the right pressure to get that time. also, that's on a race track, obviously roads aren't up to the same standards but you should be able to get more than half on it before you lose traction.

    Why did you get an automatic over a manual just wondering because i don't know which one I want.

    • @velocita3429
      @velocita3429  8 років тому

      To be honest you can't go wrong with either, but I chose the automatic just to make cruising around town more enjoyable. You still have the ability to choose any gear that won't kill or redline the engine in manual mode, but can swap to automatic so you don't have to deal with the pain of a clutch during traffic. We're working on a driving portion now, so let us know if there's anything you'd like to see and be sure to check back soon for our review.

  • @tven99

    is it a realistic daily driver? im planning on trading in my s class for this

    • @velocita3429
      @velocita3429  8 років тому

      Hard to say, sort of depends on what you're looking for. Probably won't be as comfortable or quiet as your S class, but isn't a bad car to drive every day. Fuel economy runs right around sticker if you're not doing drag runs, and it's pretty easy to handle if you drive in the softer modes. Not sure about rainy or icy weather (take a regular car on those days) so can't for certain say how it'd behave. Lots of fun, handles great, and sounds amazing. Biggest warning, watch out for potholes, rocks, etc.; cars pretty low and it'd stink to mess up the awesome body work. Hope that helps, let us know if you have any other questions!
