The phrase they don't make them like this anymore just doesn't apply to Grace . I don't think they ever made them like her. I feel so lucky and thankful to witness her already incredible career. Thank you sweet Grace.
She’s so happy and in her element when she sings. I love watching her grow and mature as a singer. She played that little technical difficulty off with class. Her unreleased song is spectacular. And she’s so awesome with her fans.
This is like when she was on tour and singing The River and the tambourine was a dud; she very calmly and humorously said, "worst tambourine ever" and calmly carried on. People don't just love her because she's a genius.
What a professional, charming performer, even flyng into the face of technical difficulty and approaching her audience like she and they are just hanging out. Mad props.
@@SJLtalentpicks Feedback loop. The mic (it doesn't seem only hers) picks up the monitor speakers that give feedback to the performers, sending the signal to the monitors again which are picked up by the mic, which sends it to the monitors... you get the picture. Adjusting that loop to have quite the right amount of attenuation is the job of the sound technician. Not so much a problem anymore today, when they normally work with earpieces for monitors.
@@HotelPapa100 Correct. And I recognized that feedback loop, too. I personally also have some experience on that job. Did you hear Grace say she didn't think she was a very good actress? Argh! Does she really think they'd let her star in a film that rises or falls based on her performance if she wasn't any good? Well, Grace will never get a swelled head, that's for sure.

Watching this for the umpteenth time and just realized I don't miss Grace using the ukulele. When her hands are freed up and her body sways to the music she is truly mesmerizing and I think playing the uke would interfere with the mood and passion of the song. For her new stuff, anyway which is very sophisticated and light years beyond what any 15 year old should be able to write. Well, 14 when she wrote it, actually.
It's 2020 and people are still whining , " I miss the uke" I love Grace with the uke but , love where her music is going right now and most of her best performance are without the uke in my opinion
Valerie, beautiful music, the pace is wonderful and the artist has a charm-filled footprint with an impeccable voice and good interpretation, congratulations and “success always” !!!
I'm grateful to have heard Grace sing you'll get bored live with Florence + the Machine , not many Grace fans have had that opportunity , it's sad the hopes of it being on Letters EP have disappeared but ,just maybe she'll break it out again someday before it ends up with 12 Stars forever.
É incrível ouvi-la ela sempre se esforça para trazer coisas novas, mostrar algo diferente, sempre com muita determinação, dotada de um equilíbrio musical e um jeito que é só seu de cantar, parabéns e" sucesso sempre "!!!
@@Calers-gu1ib , You are right, Grace does not sound like any Pop, Folk, or Americana, music you hear today. Grace makes her own category. It has early rock, singer-songwriter qualities but with a modern feel. Maybe we could come up with a new name for her music. Remember 'The Jimmy Hendrix Experience'. Maybe we could call Grace's music 'Unexplainable Grace'. All I know is that I love her music.
Two wonderful songs, two poor performances by the sound tech. It was unclear why nobody stepped in right away to clear up the feedback loop. That was a super long time to leave Grace hanging. I loved the way she handled it with her usual aplomb. The second song, the first time she's performed it, seems to have great potential but I couldn't hear it well at all.

One minute and 27 seconds from start of the sound fail to the time when a sound tech appears on stage to start to fix something that should have never, ever happened. ?!? How is this possible? Grace handles it with humor and starts kibitzing with the audience. And then the sound is screwed up on the next song too. It's three days later and I'm still dumbfounded.
@@donjones4719 That is a fair assumption until we hear a reasonable alternative. There may be one and I think fans should hear what it may be. Until then, I am still pissed. Grace is not a goddess but she deserves professional services at all times. This not an amateur hour.
