That was an interesting watch. I lived in the area from the late 70s to 1995 when I moved away. The heart of downtown Frederick (W Patrick and Market streets) haven't changed too much but the rest has changed dramatically. The Carroll Creek project cleaned up that downtown area nicely. Some of the street you walked down, especially towards the end of your video, you wouldn't have in the 80s and 90s. I noticed that Brainstorm Comics is back downtown but in a different location from where it was in the 80s. It moved out of downtown for a while to a strip mall. Nice to see it back downtown. Used to love going there as a kid. Thanks for the blast from the past!
Frederick citizen here! I’m so glad that you made this video, showing others around our lovely city! ^^ Here’s a crab for good luck in the future my friend 🦀
My family and I fell in love with The Fred a few years ago. We finally bought a house in downtown and are so happy to join the community. When I tell my friends where we moved to I share your touring video and they all flip out about the beauty and vibrancy you capture. Thanks!!
Good video. I have a friend and his wile who love this area and they have brought me down here several times. I am surprised how not crowded it was for a weekend. Usually there are many more people. I love the architecture and the restaurants and the Fudge ice cream parlor (with the bear out front) at 16:36 is a favorite of ours.
Wow ! Very Nice. We are in Prince Frederick MD people often confuse Prince Frederick MD with Frederick MD I r ember going to downtown Frederick years ago to see bands on weekend evenings.
@@joelmartinez2668 ok, that is great. I fell in love with MD during my recent visits. I will be coming from dallas (allen specifically), TX. There is practically no crime here, so terms of that, is the area safe? What are your thoughts? I have researched and found nothing concerning, aside for an arrest of some that were planning a massacre about year or so ago. But that can happen anywhere I suppose. I am considering the bottling plant apts in Frederick located near a museum called "rose hill manor". Do you know the area?
Hi there. I can't really speak to how things normally are there, but this was filmed on a weekend...if that gives you any reference. Possibly someone else has a better answer for you.
I know this is late replying but I have only been to Frederick downtown on weekends and it is usually much more crowded including the ubiquitous loud Harley motorcycles revving up and down the street. Not rowdy mind you just many more people.
Good video , thanks for sharing , I also take landscape videos in UK and sometimes abroad .It's very helpful and interesting. I subscribed to the channel, so I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for the good video
@@CityWander Yes the problem are.houses. I dont know why But american build their houses totally different way. I cannot Pay for something from plywood . Albo Windows size sre strange...I am afraid tjat I get used to differwnt standard :(
Lovely city, but if you walked by me all fast, close and crazy like you did a few of those people, you and the camera are going for a nice ride in the air and to the pavement… Did you even say “excuse me” to those people? Walking all extra fast behind black people with a camera definitely wouldn’t happen in like East Baltimore. Lmao
Hey Top Billin'. The camera makes it look like I'm a lot closer to people and things than I actually am. We'll be sure to avoid the ninjas in the greater Baltimore area. 🥷Hope you have a violence-free Christmas! 👍💚
Did you watch the whole thing? And by heroine I assume you mean a woman admired and emulated for her achievements and qualities. I believe there are a couple in there... Stay safe! 🙂

Is IT possible to make such Tour interactively? You are walking and I am telling you: please turn left here, I want to divę to this side street :)
Beautiful city !
