they're called impulsive thoughts, not intrusive thoughts. Intrusive thoughts are the really bad ones, like killing your mom or some shit. Impulsive thoughts are ones that are bad, but a lot more tame, like shoving a bar of soap in your mouth.

As someone who quite likes trains, for someone who is indifferent to trains, Jonk sure has given a lot of thought as to his position on trains.

I can't say I agree with Mingus, but Sandwiches is a good dog name. I've already determined that my next dog will be named Tomato
Now I'm thinking of a dachshund named Bratwurst for some reason.
I'm concern for Gabby and Jake if they ever have kids on account of what Gabby names her dogs.

I've figured out the ultimate curse for their kids. Gabby comes up with the name and then Jonk writes it down on the birth certificate, those poor kids will be doomed 🤣.

1:39 Honestly, Gabs is bang on the money when it comes to pet names, they can have normal names, like "Buster", they can have a goofy/cute names, like "Mingus", "Spots", or "Snoots", or they could be named after a food or object, like "Sandwiches" or "Poppy" (R.I.P Poppy, I only knew you for six years 😞)

The name mingus reminds of a ross noble joke, he knew someone with a dog that had that name the issue was he has a strong Geordie accent and mingus sounded like mingers which local women did not appreciate.
basic rule on naming a dog or cat: 1 syllable, 2 at most, and nothing you would be opposed to yelling at the top of your lungs in a public area

I had a guinea pig named Melanie Ginger Mustard (She was ginger and white, and the Melanie part came from a Barbie character I believe), so I dont think I can ever judge anyone on the pet names.

Jake doesn't track with trains, he is stationary on the subject. Don't try to railroad him or hump him into another consistency on the subject. Just leave him a buffer.
I am quite surprised that nobody referenced the fact in Jake's liking about trains how he said he wanted to be called Douglas as a child because of the character from Thomas The Tank Engine.

I was just thinking about a book I read quite a number of years ago called The Edge on the Sword, whose main character is Aethelflaed.
