I'm gonna give this a try, we've been burning a lot of candles to cut down on the amount of hours per day that we have our electric furnace running. Thanks for the video, saved to my favorites!
you can put anything in the water even just some food coloring to make it last longer without having to worry about changing out the fresh fruits. It you are going to run it for a long time you can use a small metal piece to hold the wick instead of the plastic so you don't have to worry the plastic gets to hot.
i have a serius question. how long does it last? i do have to refill the oil right? or not? I dont understand how it can last forever? (beside the wack)
This candle will need more oil. All of these candles do, but only small amounts. The oil isn't burning, it's the heated fumes of the oil. This candle also needs more wick and plastic added.
about a month. If you don't want to deal with changing it out you can just add food coloring or decorative rocks etc. Or just leave it plain water. Thanks so much for your comment.😁
you can use also a thin tin such as a tea light tin or soda can topper. You can also cut the plastic to cover the top completely if you are having trouble with sinking.☺
Doesn't the wick burn down till it's melting the plastic? What do you do when the wick burns down? Doesn't all the oil start on fire? Besides that, I don't know how in the world, but some oil must have gotten on my brand new lighter and now it doesn't even work 😑
so sorry to hear about your lighter. yes the wick will burn down to the plastic and you can pull more wick up or replace the wick with more wick. If you are going to leave it a long time and not watch it you can change the plastic out for a soda can top or other small metal that you can connect your wick too.
@@SolarGirlHomestead shud the metal can top be imersed in liquid? Hw much of wick shud be beneath the metal top? Also wud i still need to replace the wick with metal top?
@@drayesha you can put as much wick as you like underneath as long as you dont mind it showing in the candle. You would just need to pull the wick up ever so often as you are running out.

Hello, I have a question Can you use baby oil?
never tried it. Let me know how it works for you☺
I tried one but the plastic melted and the wick fell into the oil and went out.
I made one too, but my wick and plastic kept sinking every night.
Nice
thanks so much for watching😊😊
Does this candle smell? Are the fruits inside just for decoration?
the essential oil makes it smell but not from the fruits to much.
You also may put in, CINAMON STICKS and CLOVER in another glass
Can I blend it instead of slice it?
🤣good one!

What if the plastic sinks in the oil?

Don’t the oil eventually burn away?
Yes but very slowly
Can you say please, what are the minimum ingredients required to make this FOREVER candle?
Thanks and may the sun forever shine upon you. 🙂
I'd be willing to bet it will only last for 3-4 billion years.
