INDY JAMMA JONES Got my beach bunny’s at the opening in Venice and I absolutely love them! I’m a total beginner but so far they have been everything I could’ve asked for!
I have the blue sky beach bunny skates. I wanted to know how do you clean the skates because in the beginning when I got them I fell a lot and there all scratched and dirty
Hey Indy! I didn’t order any of the Beach Bunny skates but I did order the Pineapple Moxi skates almost 3 months ago. UPS said it was supposed to arrive last week Thursday and I’ve been checking the status on it every couple of hours every day. The skates have been stuck in CA since then. Is there a reason why it’s taking so long to get sent out for delivery to my house? I’ve been patient and I’m really looking forward to finally receiving the skates so I can skate in my own skates!
Girl Of Fire I know. I love pastel colors but they would look weird on my warm skin tone so I'd prefer if they had some warmer colors to choose from as well
I’ve had the peach beach bunnies for a couple months now (first skates) and they’ve been amazing! I’ve never had any squeaks but the toe guards don’t stay in place and I think I’ll upgrade my wheels soon. The current wheels work well on track type terrain (like a tennis/basketball court and roller hockey rink) but are very bumpy on regular pavement
super true nonetheless Tried skating in my driveway and I was an inch away from a butt slam in 10 seconds lmao XD But its a process of getting used to the diff. terrains but diff. wheels might also help too :D
Yes I agree! I transitioned from a sidewalk to street pavement and -- WhoA. Not great..lol. yes, obviously it will feel different. But not that bad. Did you change your wheels, if so, which ones for softer transition.. thankxxx
That's really up to you. The main differences are that the Lolly has a leather boot (less break-in time) and a nylon plate (light-weight and more flexible, so they're easier to control) while the Beach bunny has a vinyl boot (much longer break-in time) and a metal plate (which many skaters don't like because they are a bit heavier). So, it's really a personal choice as to which you prefer. I love the feel of the heavier skate so I refuse to get any with a nylon plate. In time, you CAN get used to either. For you, it may just come down to the color options. The Bunny is only available in 3 colors while the Lolly offers 9 color selections if the boot/plate combo doesn't matter as much to you....
I've had my beach bunnies (peach blanket) since march 1st and i've loved them ever since! the wheels are pretty good but i do want to end up switching to the radar energy wheels for something a bit better. the glitter wheels are basically great for starting or for just temporary use. i did use them at the skatepark, rink, and for outdoor skating and they've never really failed me. they squeak a TON and i've never known why until now! thank you for that! the toe guards don't work too well because tightening them or keeping them in place is super difficult. but i don't really ever use toe guards anyways, so it's not a huge loss for me. and the boot is so durable you probably wouldn't even need them. my laces are already way shredded up but still work! there are lots of scuff marks on my skates that i'm proud of because scuff marks means you're working hard! overall the beach bunny is a really good skate and i get lots of compliments on them wherever i go.
@@lae6630 they're great! harder to move around in at first but still much easier than concrete so beach bunnies are perfect! i still love mine. can't wait to upgrade to lollies though!
@@lexiesaunders8495 the glitter wheels are pretty good for all purpose skating. im so lazy i dont even change them for the park since they're pretty versatile. i pretty much mostly skate on concrete so the glitter wheels are fine for that.
Back in my "younger days" I used to be on skates all the time! I'm now 48 and thanks to your channel I'm inspired to get back out there. Just ordered my Moxi Beach Bunny skates. I think these will be great for me to get back into it. I'll upgrade later. Thanks so much for your videos. #MoxiMomOnWheels
Ditto that! I was 32/33 when I hit the rink after a 13 or 14 year "break". My youngest was 2 then, and steady on her feet when walking at that point so we hit the rink as a family to prepare for the upcoming "school skates" (most of my older ones were in school by then, school skating parties happen once a month here, it's been a tradition in my area since before I even started attending school). That muscle memory is there, but it does take a bit longer for some to gain it back. Skating is like riding a bike, though. Eventually, you'll be right back to where you were as a teen/young adult. Roll on! :)
Same here! I was in skates all the time growing up and really want to get back into! I’ll be 40 soon! But I’m in relatively good shape and hope I will pick it up again quickly to minimize the amount of falls!
Omg i am in the same position i used to skate lots when i was younger and im now 47 and have just got some skates its a bit touch and go but i am getting there any advice for the older skater please im only 2 days into wearing them. Thanks
I am actually waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. I saw some girls( might have been your crew) on the Long Beach bike path wearing cool skates and decided to try these out!
I’m planning to ask for these skates for Christmas! I really want to get onto skates because you guys have inspired me so much!!! Thank you so much for this video!!
i’ve been skating with thrift store roller derby skates for the past 7 years and since i’m finally old enough to get a job i’ve decided to buy myself a good new pair of roller skates. i’m really really excited to get a pair of skates. right now i’m deciding wether I should buy the lolly or beach bunny but I think i’m gonna get the lolly since i’m not a beginner

If y’all have some questions I can try to answer some! But so far I’m in love w them and totally was worth the money if ur into skating, they’re good for free skate and park skating in my opinion, I got toe covers and wheels to, all from NeonSkates.ca
I prefer the style of the Lolly skate but I want a vegan skate and prefer my skates to not be stiff. I’d totally buy a faux suede lolly if they had that.
I'm stalking this video because mines will arrive Wednesday and I'm too stoked! I've always said that I would own my own skate but life always happened and now that my kids are older, I'm free to do me and I'm so ready to get it popping!! So I finally decided to buy my own skates at 40 and I've rinked my whole life in rentals and I think I'm about to fall in love with skating in a deeper way..its about to go down yall!!!! And I finally did it so it's super fulfilling to know that they're on the way. And I wanted the lolli soo bad but why not save something for later...
I juuuust got into skating. I've spent a lot of time at the roller skating rink lately, and I decided to order some beach bunny skates! I'm excited for them to come in and to learn new tricks and become more comfortable skating!!
So did Estro Jen on the Moxi Roller Skate channel. It's really informational and it comes out after they started carrying two more colors in beach bunny and their imported boots started being made in Cambodia instead of China (I don't think where they are made matters)
I got my beach bunnies (periwinkle) about a month ago and almost havent taken them off since. I was nervous about getting quad skates because i had only ever used rentals before and had also been inline skating religiously with a pair of my moms old skates for the past year (there was a little bit of a learning curve going from in-lines to quads but it took maybe a day to get used to them). As of now I've only been skating in my driveway and down the road (though im hoping to go to a skatepark soon), and so far have had no major problems. One thing I have noticed which may just be because my skates are a bit big (I got a size up to put in insoles but I havent needed them because theyre so comfortable) is that if i lace my skates too tight at the bottom, the tongue will slip down. I also noticed the squeeking wheels when i first got my skates but it kind of went away after a while. I really dont regret getting beach bunnies instead of a new pair of in lines, theyve been really fun!
@@equuleusp3150 the learning curve isnt too bad. I think the hardest thing was learning how to stop but after you learn that, it's all fun. Your center of balance is different too because wheels on quads are shorter (shorter front to back) than in-lines but you get over that after the first few skates. I totally recommend quads!
I really want to start skating on either inline or quads but we dont have a skate park and the streets are very bumpy. Do you have any tips if I should go with inline instead of quads. (Since you have tried both)
I have had mine for about six weeks I think? Mine are the sky blue ones. I only skate a couple of times a week and I'm still working on getting the courage to go outside, so they still look pristine. :) I love them, and I get compliments on them almost every time I go to the rink. They aren't super common here in Australia, and I haven't run into anyone else here in person who has a pair. I couldn't justify the cost of the Lollies yet, and while I'm not exactly a beginner (returning to skating after a couple of decades away) I'd never owned my own quads, and I had owned some quite stiff iceskates and some inlines, so the stiff ankle feels just right. I had noticed the lack of edges, or rather my coach had. :) they are better with loosening the trucks a bit, but I might look into changing the bushings some time. I'd also noticed the squeak from time to time- again, that is better with loosening the wheel nuts a touch, but still there, especially when you are trying to lean into those edges. Thanks for the review!
I've been skating on my K2 inline skates for 30 years and am about to order beach bunny quads. This will be my first time on quads in 3 decades!!! Not getting any younger, but, skating will always , always , always be my heart!!! LOVE your channel Indy!!!! Rock on!!!
i saw this video before getting my own beach bunnies and i was kind of concerned about how fast it looked like they got worn out, but now that i've been skating my own pair for about a month, i want to tell everyone else not to worry! indy is obviously a very advanced skater and skates a lot, but for beginners these skates are super durable. and the vinyl boot makes them very easy to clean! i love these so much!
I love my beach bunnies! I got them about two months ago and can’t stay out of them 😋 My bearings started to get squeaky a few days ago and hearing your review about it answered all my questions. Thank you!
I have a pair I inherited that were gotten pre 2003 and haven't been worn since then, but the girl was a motorcyclist and the only issue I had was deterioration in the inside heel guard thing and I somehow poked a divet into the toe, but it doesn't go through the shoe.
my beach bunnys just arrived and I'm so in love 😍 i never had skates before, but as a child i had blades, and now that i knew that i wanted rollerskates i got my moms blades out of the cellar and tried skating in them, but it's such a different feeling, i feel much safer on the skates that on inliners, plus the beach bunnys are so comfy 😍 they give me a safe feeling around the ankle, and there's no wobbling to left and right, i feel like a queen on these 😍❤️
Eyan here - I bought periwinkle sunset haven't had chance to skate them , thank you so so much for the info , I am 42 and skated as a kid trying to relearn good safe skating and have fun and exercise more , I am started in the rink hoping to get outside shortly after. Thanks again your videos help me so much !
Samee imma have to get a job or something I’ve been using RIO skates for a while and tbh they’re good but not really comfy and my feet start to hurt within an hour so imma save up for moxies but I’m stuck to either get beach bunny or moxies also I’m so scared on accidently buying a wrong size because I’m from the UK not USA and what if it turns out to be too big 💀
I really apprecaite how you break down every aspect, I used to skate in line as a kid and I want to get back into skating for ive been binge watching your content and even though I dont understand every detail it makes me feel confident in your knowledge
I've skated inlines and figure and wanted my own pair of quads. I was going to get the lolly because they were so comfortable, but I tried on the beach bunny and I felt more secure because of the stiff boot (just like an inline/figure boot). Half price and better boot imo. The bushings do completely suck though, and Imthe only experience I have with that is through longboarding but it's only a few bucks to change them to something softer so I think even if someone wants to go the cheaper route and buy the beach bunny, replace the wheels and bushings, they still will not be paying as much as they would for the lolly and have something just as good!
I’ve had the bunnies for over 6 months. I’m a skate hop at sonic drive in and they’ve held up well! I love the wheels!! Because at sonic it’s super slick inside and outside it’s concrete.
Wait a sec I know this comment was four years ago but I have to ask: Sonic makes workers supply their own skates???? What if you don't have any, would they supply you with a pair, or is it just optional to use your own?
I am taking the plunge and just ordered a pair, my family is going to be skating outdoors now since skating rinks are closed for who knows how long because of the pandemic
Ive watched this video over about 7 time because Im getting the periwinkle beach bunnys for my birthday and im so excited! One question, you probably will not see this, but if you do,how does the sizings work? Im a size nine but i am not sure about the sizing. thank you soo much for this video!♥️
Anyone thinking about getting these skates definitely go for it! I’ve had mine since June and they’ve been awesome. I wasn’t too good at skating when I started but now I’m pretty decent lmao. I’m visiting Santa Monica in February & I can’t wait to skate around venice in my bunnies :)
Just recently discovered you and the Moxi brand and I have become obsessed! I've been watching your videos on a nonstop loop, episode 2 in particular. Got to this video, jumped the gun and purchased a pair of Beach Bunnies! Super excited and just waiting (impatiently) for them to arrive! 🤗💕🎉
I love my beach bunnies for everything - dancing, outdoors, ramps etc! So comfortable they have never rubbed and people always compliment them! BUT the toe stops wore through after about 4-6 weeks outdoors so I had to buy new ones and the laces are starting to wear. Having said that - a brilliant affordable moxi skate 😊
I went searching for the kind of skates that you wear to skate yourself. So, I'm scrolling through the videos, and the thumbnail where you are hugging these skates, I knew right then I found my answer to what skates I need 😁 thank you for your videos and the time and love you put into them 💕🤟
I had just gotten my Beach Bunnies and I already love them!! The stiff vinyl boot was very supportive and really helped me when I was dancing a bit. The wheels work VERY well indoors and are only SLIGHTLY challenging outdoors, but nothing too concerning. I plan on changing the bearings eventually to Red Bones bearings, but the ABEC-5s haven’t caused any problems. I recommend loosening the trucks because it’s difficult to turn due to the low amount of action in them. They don’t budge, so loosen them as much as you can. Once I broke them in a bit, it became easier to turn. All in all, I absolutely LOVE my Beach Bunnies!!😁😁
Oh wow so the lack of edges wasn't my imagination?? I have a basic background in inline skating and ice skating, and after finding your channel I decided to try roller skates, but I constantly feel like the wheels are too wide and I fall over them, and when I lean nothing happens 😂 I thought that was just a feature of roller skates, or that perhaps the skates I bought were just bad quality (they're not Moxi, perhaps that's why I've been struggling 😂) but then I watched more of your videos and saw all of you leaning to turn and doing stuff that I'm sure would require edges and I just couldn't understand what I was doing wrong. Now I see that maybe it's the fault of the metal plate on my skates and I should try a nylon one? Not sure where I'll find that in my country, but off to Google I go 😄 thanks Indy, your channel is awesome and so are you ❤️
I had the same problem with my skates, just replace the rubber bushings for some softer ones (I went for 79A hardness), it will make a world of difference and they're not expensive.
Also, try loosening your front trucks a little bit. I found the best way was to take my skate tool out and experiment with how much I loosened them. Watch the PRS video with Pigeon bombing hills in Santa Cruz.
Dead Leaves I can't answer that specifically but I'm pretty confident in saying it will help you with anything that requires turning. If your trucks don't tilt when you shift your weight from side to side they are not doing their job properly. The only reason you'd want hard bushings is to go faster in a straight line.
OK can someone guide me. I've read that the beach bunny comes w/ hybrid wheels but the number seems low (soft) for hybrid. Should I just buy the beach bunny and switch out wheels if I want both indoor and outdoor skating? I primarily will be skating in rinks vs. outside
Have been looking at Moxi Lollys for a really long time but after watching this video I think the Beach Bunny might be better for me (I'm a beginner and I really want to do skate park stuff eventually). Plus... I've already saved up enough. YAY!
I'm so glad I ordered these! Waiting for them to come. I'm curious to know what bearings you switched to/what upgraded bearings are? I will go search the internet now...
Ellie Pewo I wear and 8.5-9 in street shoes and I wear Size 8 in both the Lolly and Beach Bunny. I can also wear the 9 but prefer the feel of the 8 better.
Yay! I'm so happy you did this! I got my peach ones two weeks or so and I love them! After the first two days they were already pretty fitted to my feet,it's so much fun and since I've started skating I've noticed two other girls skating around! Defiantly a good, cheap alternative to the lollys
I might just start with these and work my way up to the Moxi Lolly's. Do these come with the crab tool? *Update: I’m getting my beach bunnies tomorrow!!
I waited for several months (could've bought them but wanted to wait for that tax refund check yo!) and did some research on different skates and when I stumbled across the Beach Bunny I was like "I HAVE TO HAVE THESE!" I FINALLY ordered them yesterday in Periwinkle Sunset and am SO stoked to start skating in them. This review solidified my decision for sure.
The Beach Bunny was my first every skate. It's really nice and durable; very affordable. I've had them for a year and am just now switching my toe stops (and need new wheels). I live in rainy WA, so there's not a lot of skate days. They're good skates for just cruising around, and jam skating outdoors, and the heel makes them good for beginners. Now I've switched to a pair of Chaya Kismets for park skating.
Hey Indy, I bought some beach bunny's and they are being delivered and I'm so excited. You are amazing you have made me really happy and now I have something to do with my life. Thank you so much for what you do and don't stop. Your so amazing I even spent half and hour liking all of your videos. You are amazing and you are my idol.
i've wanted a pair of lolly skates for years, but as a skater without much experience, i wasn't sure i was ready to shell out the cash on such a nice pair. then i discovered the beach bunnies, i was so excited because i really wanted moxi brand skates all along. definitely recommend for novice skaters who still want a really nice pair of skates but don't want to spend too much yet like myself when i purchased them. i've had so much fun learning in them and am really excited to continue learning new tricks and improving. also planet roller skate videos have helped me soooo much i love your channel thank u
I'm in LOVE with these! I love the Periwinkle with the Peach wheels & laces! 🥰🥰🥰 $150, eh? And the aluminum plate?! Nice! I'm wanting the Lollies but I'm gonna have to save up for them ☺️🙏🏻
I got my beach bunnies about a month ago after 3 months of savings and decisions if that was the right one and the wait to actually get them lol. I was very scared about the sizing, but mine turns out to fit perfectly. Same with the stiffness, which is just uncomfortable around my ankles, but after some uses it seems to be getting better. I do feel bad every time I get it dirty and scratched, but that’s because I’m crazy for my things lol I just need to let it go I guess. The tongue of the skates makes it a bit difficult to put it in and take it out. But other than that I really love it! Ps: the quality of the videos is looking a lot better with the new camera 😏
I’m nervous about the sizing as well! What did you end up doing? I wear a US women’s size 6, and I’m not sure what to get. I’m a total beginner so I don’t even know like, do you leave room for a thick sock, etc?
Teal Dodrill I wear a size 7 street shoes, they have a sizing chart that should help you get yours. So each size fits one and half size up, so for me I got size 6 that fits a 7 and 7 1/2. For me it fits fine with thick socks, but I also have narrow/medium feet, I personally don’t like to use because the seam of the socks always bother me even with other skates.
Simone Jeanette I do use toe covers, but I’m very paranoid of damaging my things lol I’m slowly getting used to the idea that I can’t have a brand new looking skate if I actually use them hahaha
This was SOOO helpful. I'm an experienced skater in derby, but not so much skatepark and with it being summer I was really scouring reviews to see what type of "recreational" skate to buy that had adequate ankle support (I use the Antik AR-1's which have excellent ankle support). Not only that but you mentioned about the trucks not being very flexible with edges which was super helpful especially for experienced skaters who know how to use their edges, but who haven't experienced skate park skating yet. Thanks for the awesome review!!
Omgggg i need these SO bad!!! I'm gonna ask my mom for these! Wish me lucksh! (I'll prlly let ypu guys know what happened) Edit: so turns out these were like 200 dollars, so, the answer was obvs no. But, we looked at other options, and we can preorder my size in impalas or candi girl ones! After she gets her moneys, we'll decide which ones!! I'm so gosh darn excited!
I just got the moxi beach bunny skates in blue for christmas. I love the colors, and i also love that they come with a toe guard. They are very comfortable and skating on them is rather smooth and sturdy.
Joey Sayuri Quitan Kern They are stiffer and have a much more cushiony padded tongue. I like the Lolly better because I don’t like stiff as much but some people like the support. They are both really nice skates!!! I have both!
bethstraker try going to a figure skate shop! There are plenty of boots that are perfect to use with wheels. When I get my figure skates sharpened, I always wonder what attaching some wheels would be like lol! I know Edea is vegan and I wear the ice fly. They have a line of roller boots too!
@@refrigeratorskates492 but there mostly just white boots only. Are u in the states? Where do u get ur ice skates from specifically? Im looking for some ice skate boots
gospelevans yes I’m in the states, i get my boots from The Sharper Edge. I don’t have the location off the top of my head, but I’m sure a quick google search could reveal that :)
I've been contemplating which skates to get and i'm not sure if i should just splurge a little more on the bunnies or get some chayas/sure-grips? Kinda hard finding good reviews..i'm hoping somebody on here can help me^^ those would be my first roller skates. If i get the bunnies, do they come with a y-tool/crab tool like the lollys? Is a toe guard included? And still kinda confused how often i would have to clean the bearings and when to change them?? A lot of questions..x'D
I just purchased a pair of these skates in Strawberry Lemonade (pastel yellow with peachy-pink laces and wheels) I’m so excited for them to come in the mail!
these are beginner skates, buuuut they are honestly really stable and provide good ankle support, i’ve borrowed my friends lollies and kept rolling my ankle since they were way less stiff so i honestly like the beach bunnies more for their stiffness. you’ll have to break them in a bit at first but they’re really comfy. i’m able to take these to the park and do a lot with them. if you’re looking for a park skate these aren’t bad (obviously not the best one on the market there’s more skates designed for parks) but if you wanna start trying more park skating i’d just recommend changing the bushing, bearings and getting harder wheels.
I think I might be getting a pair of the beach bunny skates but if I do I will be zooming around my neighborhood 😂love your vids!they help me when I have questions about roller skating oh yay 2 likes 🤗 wait no 3 yay

you should do a beach bunny vs lolly. i’m so torn between which one to get
That's really up to you.
Unfortunately I have to get the Bunny. I'm Broke.

Roll on! :)
Aww!! You are never too old! Stay young and active!! Go girl 😉💪🏻
Me too xxxx
That flip was so badass, haha.
I’m planning to ask for these skates for Christmas! I really want to get onto skates because you guys have inspired me so much!!!
Thank you so much for this video!!
Delia Rose OMG SAAAAME WITH ME!!!🙀😸
Saammmme!
rosie doodles same❤️
Did you get em
i’ve been skating with thrift store roller derby skates for the past 7 years and since i’m finally old enough to get a job i’ve decided to buy myself a good new pair of roller skates. i’m really really excited to get a pair of skates. right now i’m deciding wether I should buy the lolly or beach bunny but I think i’m gonna get the lolly since i’m not a beginner
I am literally getting a job at Starbucks to buy lollys, $175 down so far 🌚 lol
Have you bought them yet🤔😀😀😀

Aww, true commitment!
Yes I did!! I’ve had them for a few months I LOVE them
If y’all have some questions I can try to answer some!
They have vinyl lollies now
gospelevans I don’t think they have. They carry vegan Jack boots not vegan Lolly boots.
Have you looked into the sure grip fame?

I'm stalking this video because mines will arrive Wednesday and I'm too stoked!
I've always said that I would own my own skate but life always happened and now that my kids are older, I'm free to do me and I'm so ready to get it popping!!
So I finally decided to buy my own skates at 40 and I've rinked my whole life in rentals and I think I'm about to fall in love with skating in a deeper way..its about to go down yall!!!! And I finally did it so it's super fulfilling to know that they're on the way.
And I wanted the lolli soo bad but why not save something for later...
It's never too late to skate! Glad you're still able to do it.
I juuuust got into skating. I've spent a lot of time at the roller skating rink lately, and I decided to order some beach bunny skates! I'm excited for them to come in and to learn new tricks and become more comfortable skating!!
How well did they work at the rink??
Malae Caldwell amazing!!!
That's incredible to hear hun and so inspirational! Thankyou so much
@@savannavink did you change out the wheel or did you use the 78a that comes with it?
@@savannavink Because I bought some light up wheels from Amazon that were 82a. Because they were hybrid could work indoors and outdoors
I really want to see a video showing the differences between the different types of moxi skates
Elsa Popovski Estro made a video about that
And a year later she finally got her video lmao
So did Estro Jen on the Moxi Roller Skate channel. It's really informational and it comes out after they started carrying two more colors in beach bunny and their imported boots started being made in Cambodia instead of China (I don't think where they are made matters)
Oops. Someone already said Jen did it.
I really dont regret getting beach bunnies instead of a new pair of in lines, theyve been really fun!
ravine mahogany ahhh thanks so much for sharing! Glad to hear the squeeky wheels went away for you and that you are having FUN :D
I can rollerblade (ish sorta) and really want to go to roller skates but I thought it would be to hard. Do you have any tips?
@@equuleusp3150 the learning curve isnt too bad. I think the hardest thing was learning how to stop but after you learn that, it's all fun. Your center of balance is different too because wheels on quads are shorter (shorter front to back) than in-lines but you get over that after the first few skates. I totally recommend quads!
I really want to start skating on either inline or quads but we dont have a skate park and the streets are very bumpy. Do you have any tips if I should go with inline instead of quads. (Since you have tried both)
I’m so happy you explained the box ❤️❤️❤️
I agree because it's always very handy to know this stuff lol
I have a challenge for you girls! :))))
Can you do a video and try *ice skating*
That can be a cool video
They already have.
Thank you!
So excited for this. I’m a beginner and got the peach blanket ones🧡💜 I love them!!
Same here and they are so gorgeous and cute design and colour too lol
How did you go through your Docs in 8 months I have had mine for over 5 years!
I knowwwwww I don' understand. Probably from always tumbling and climbing lol
I had my docs for about a year before they quit on me. So I can see where Indy is coming from.
I heard the quality hasn’t been the same these past couple of years.
I have a pair I inherited that were gotten pre 2003 and haven't been worn since then, but the girl was a motorcyclist and the only issue I had was deterioration in the inside heel guard thing and I somehow poked a divet into the toe, but it doesn't go through the shoe.
I have worn them for almost a year like every day.
my beach bunnys just arrived and I'm so in love 😍 i never had skates before, but as a child i had blades, and now that i knew that i wanted rollerskates i got my moms blades out of the cellar and tried skating in them, but it's such a different feeling, i feel much safer on the skates that on inliners, plus the beach bunnys are so comfy 😍 they give me a safe feeling around the ankle, and there's no wobbling to left and right, i feel like a queen on these 😍❤️
Eyan here -
I bought periwinkle sunset haven't had chance to skate them , thank you so so much for the info , I am 42 and skated as a kid trying to relearn good safe skating and have fun and exercise more , I am started in the rink hoping to get outside shortly after. Thanks again your videos help me so much !
I only have 5 dollars but I am going to start saving up
Me too maybe u should sell at skool that helps alot!
Have you gotten them yet?🥰
Yes update 😌👀
Did you get your skates?
Samee imma have to get a job or something I’ve been using RIO skates for a while and tbh they’re good but not really comfy and my feet start to hurt within an hour so imma save up for moxies but I’m stuck to either get beach bunny or moxies also I’m so scared on accidently buying a wrong size because I’m from the UK not USA and what if it turns out to be too big 💀
Hey Indy! I was wondering if you could make a short video on how to put on the toe guards! Just a suggestion, no need to feel the need to do so! ❤❤
She just posted one yesterday. :) It's about toe caps instead of the toe guards, but it is the same basic process, no matter which style you get.
0:02 her face was priceless I was laughing the whole video I cannot even focus
Mee too! lol
My Beach Bunnies came last night!!! So happy!!! They feel so good, I literally learnt 3 new moves in my dining room just playing around!!
Ive watched this video over about 7 time because Im getting the periwinkle beach bunnys for my birthday and im so excited! One question, you probably will not see this, but if you do,how does the sizings work? Im a size nine but i am not sure about the sizing.
thank you soo much for this video!♥️
if you ended up buying them, what size did you get?
I love how you use the retro caboodle makeup cases for your skate parts!
I'm planning to get these skates! They look so rad.
Super duper rad! lol
Yay,I just got my Moxi Beach Bunny, blue sky skates last week. :) They're so good, I just need to adjust some stuff and they'll be better.
I went searching for the kind of skates that you wear to skate yourself. So, I'm scrolling through the videos, and the thumbnail where you are hugging these skates, I knew right then I found my answer to what skates I need 😁 thank you for your videos and the time and love you put into them 💕🤟
Thanks So much for the honest review! I also liked seeing them in action!! Skated thru there like a Movie Star!!
I’ve been saving up for some Moxi skates for months now. I’m so excited to finish saving!!!!!!
Your face at the beginning with the plane flying overhead is giving me life.
Baggers58 did changing them make it easier to spin/dance?
So, I see that you got your new skates in Size 8.
Are the Bunnies in men's sizes, like the Lolly's? Or should we go off of regular women's sizing?
Ellie Pewo this is what I want to know too!
Size comparisons are so important because I do not have a local skate shop!
Ellie Pewo they are the men’s size. I typically wear women’s 9-9.5 and I got the 8 and it fits pretty great!
*Update: I’m getting my beach bunnies tomorrow!!
what skate would you recommend for dance skating ?
I waited for several months (could've bought them but wanted to wait for that tax refund check yo!) and did some research on different skates and when I stumbled across the Beach Bunny I was like "I HAVE TO HAVE THESE!" I FINALLY ordered them yesterday in Periwinkle Sunset and am SO stoked to start skating in them. This review solidified my decision for sure.
leah94rose I’m waiting on mines to
The Beach Bunny was my first every skate.
I got excited as if i was there opening the box with you! I can almost feel the new skate smeel
I always love that new smell too lol
Just ordered them as my first skates!!! I’m super excited! Thank you for all your influence and information leading me to this decision! ❤️✌🏼
I’m new to skating and I actually just got these the other day from Urban Outfitters!! I love them so much!
How much did they cost?
Please make more colours!!
i've wanted a pair of lolly skates for years, but as a skater without much experience, i wasn't sure i was ready to shell out the cash on such a nice pair. then i discovered the beach bunnies, i was so excited because i really wanted moxi brand skates all along. definitely recommend for novice skaters who still want a really nice pair of skates but don't want to spend too much yet like myself when i purchased them. i've had so much fun learning in them and am really excited to continue learning new tricks and improving. also planet roller skate videos have helped me soooo much i love your channel thank u
I'm in LOVE with these! I love the Periwinkle with the Peach wheels & laces! 🥰🥰🥰 $150, eh? And the aluminum plate?! Nice!
I'm wanting the Lollies but I'm gonna have to save up for them ☺️🙏🏻
Do you have to use these at the beach?
They are rlly awesome and I want some but I don’t live at the beach :
Try toe covers!!
Are you still loving them? I really want to buy some
This was SOOO helpful.
(I'll prlly let ypu guys know what happened)
Edit: so turns out these were like 200 dollars, so, the answer was obvs no. But, we looked at other options, and we can preorder my size in impalas or candi girl ones! After she gets her moneys, we'll decide which ones!! I'm so gosh darn excited!
Have you ordered them yet? If so which ones did you decide to get?

Are beach bunnies for indoor or outdoor?
How do these compare to the Lolly?
Joey Sayuri Quitan Kern I wanna know too
Joey Sayuri Quitan Kern They are stiffer and have a much more cushiony padded tongue. I like the Lolly better because I don’t like stiff as much but some people like the support. They are both really nice skates!!! I have both!
hello I was just wondering if these skates were better for wide feet over the Impala skates, if you can respond. Thank you have a nice day
I love that Moxi has a vegan option... It would be EXTRA nice if it was available as the boot only for custom set-up.
bethstraker try going to a figure skate shop! There are plenty of boots that are perfect to use with wheels. When I get my figure skates sharpened, I always wonder what attaching some wheels would be like lol! I know Edea is vegan and I wear the ice fly. They have a line of roller boots too!

Does it mold to your foot or is it too sturdy?
You make it look so easy!

Omg!!!! Yassssss, I really want them!!!😍😍😭but ima get them when I’m more....badass like the moxi girls😭😂

How did you buy them if they are sold out?
Omg I’ve been waiting for this video! Can’t wait to order some blue skates! 💙
these are beginner skates, buuuut they are honestly really stable and provide good ankle support, i’ve borrowed my friends lollies and kept rolling my ankle since they were way less stiff so i honestly like the beach bunnies more for their stiffness. you’ll have to break them in a bit at first but they’re really comfy. i’m able to take these to the park and do a lot with them. if you’re looking for a park skate these aren’t bad (obviously not the best one on the market there’s more skates designed for parks) but if you wanna start trying more park skating i’d just recommend changing the bushing, bearings and getting harder wheels.
I think I might be getting a pair of the beach bunny skates but if I do I will be zooming around my neighborhood 😂love your vids!they help me when I have questions about roller skating oh yay 2 likes 🤗 wait no 3 yay
