Hawaii Vlog 2 | Visiting The North Shore, Manoa Falls, + The Royal Hawaiian

- Hey guys! Todays vlog is my second Hawaii video! We start off by having Hawaiian afternoon tea at the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki Beach. We also shopped around the Royal Hawaiian shopping center and ended the night with pizza on the beach. On Monday we headed to the North Shore. We visited Pipeline Beach, the Haleiwa Food Trucks, and my favorite store The Guava Shop. The next day we hiked the Manoa Falls hike, went to Morning Glass Coffee, and had lunch at Andy's Sandwiches. On Wednesday, we started the day at Byodo-in Temple. We headed to a Thai food truck for lunch, visited China Mans Hat, and a Macadamia Nut Farm. Our last day we enjoyed the hotel and had dinner at one of our favorite sushi spots, Doraku. I hope you guys enjoy!!

Doraku Sushi is one of the restaurants owned and operated by Kevin Aoki, along with Aoki Teppanyaki at the Hilton Hawaiian Village along with a few more. Kevin has a famous brother in the DJ dance club world, Steve Aoki.
They both were trained to learn the restaurant business by their dad, the famous 'Rocky' Aoki, who founded Benihana of Tokyo teppanyaki restaurants in the US and around the world.
When their dad died I think about 10 years ago, they changed the Benihana name at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (HHV) to their last name, Aoki as a tribute.
The restaurant at the HHV is one of the oldest former Benihana of Tokyo restaurants as it still retains the old school exterior style of old Japan.
Son Kevin handles the daily operations of their restaurants in Hawaii and their other one in Miami..

Yes! We chose the Royal Hawaiian due to its convient location next to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.
