This place does great work. Had them to replace an evaporator on my 2000 Expedition. $400. Very clean install and it worked great. It took about 4-5 hours.
$3,800 is the estimate Jeff wyler gave me the other day. That's for the whole system though, compressor, condenser, lines/ expansion valve, and evaporator. All because my stock compressor seized up and threw metal chunks through who knows where. The high pressure line is a bit smaller so maybe it didn't make it to the evaporator. Anyway, moral of the story, if you don't want this to happen, just replace your compressor before 90k miles even if it's still good. Just hit 100k and both of my car's A/C compressors blew up at about the same time. My other one blew up at ~97k. No air-conditioning for me this summer I guess 😮💨
Wow! Done in 6:45 ! You sure it wasn't edited to fit the song?🤣 $2000 job and didn't replace the foam filter or the blender Door's or heater core. Might as well if your jeep is more than 10 year's old.
My god he took that dash off like it was nothing. I have to move my dash to replace my hoses for moon roof. As the hoses are good from the dashboard down but can't reach it without bringing the dash forward. Also my air vents are not blowing. Only the top. Opening up the dash is not hard , just time consuming which when I find help to do it myself . Any suggestions? Thank you 🌻
When I replaced my blower motor, same thing happened to me. You just gotta make sure everything lines up correctly because most of the time it doesn't.
He probably blew a compressor which blew metal chunks through the lines and clogged the entire system. $3,800 is what Jeff wyler is charging me to replace the entire system, not just the evaporator. If you don't want this to happen to you, I would replace your A/C compressor at 90k miles even if it's still good. Much cheaper and less headache. Happened to both my cars at the same time. ~97k and the other at 100k miles.

Not a very good video. First it says it is for a 2007 Grand Cherokee and it is obviously a 2002-2004 WJ Grand Cherokee. Secondly does not mention about removing the refrigerant before disconnecting the A/C lines. Does not mention which electrical plugs to remove nor about the vacuum lines to disconnect. This video is too simplistic. There are better videos about this subject.

OMG! Screw that! I'll pay to have it fixed, I'd tear up my whole dash by the time I finished. I need a beer or dozen just watching!
Expect to pay over a grand
I feel the same way. Make sure that is where the leak is. Guys like to cheat over these AC units. It about a grand to fix it.

@wayneisname4544 ask your mechanic what a filter drier is for ? And get a second opinion !

Refrigerant was probably leaked out based on having a leaky core
