One thing I've noticed about this fight is that it's better to actually not move that much, but just make slow calculated movements to dodge his attacks
Coming from someone who has done NKG hitless twice, it was a really proper fight especially since you haven't much damage on your nail. The only attack you didn't seemed to really know was the upper dash with flames all over
Same! Honestly if you love the grimm fight and you hk on the computer i would suggest you mod the game and fight inferno king grimm and absolute inferno king grimm
@@ja-nozeveryman5865 the best tip i can give you for rhat one is to go the furthest away from him and to do circle like jumps to dodge them. You can also descending dark sometimes for i frames.
Great video! I started my playthrough at about the same time as you. I quit at about 20 hours in because I didn't end up liking the game, but it is cool seeing you slowly beat the game!
@@iesakhanji1995 It was too hard. I should have figured, since thats one of its main appeals, but I didn't have the time to put in all of the grinding and exploring. I might pick it up sometime in the future but I am done with the game for now. It took me almost 1-2 hours to beat the broken vessel. And considering that there are 47 bosses in HK, I don't really wanna go through that. Broken Vessel is supposed to be easy lol, sadly it wasn't easy for me.
@@goatguythepowerfulYou don’t have to go through all 50 bosses, most are optional or in Godhome. But unfortunately, you have to go through the Watcher Knights and White Palace to beat the game.
This boss and a few more are kinda hard ..but the story ones aren’t that bad ..you just gotta keep playing them over and over until you figure there move set ..it mainly comes down to patience..but that feeling you get after you beat em is pretty awesome just saying ✌🏻
Nightmare King Grimm is my second favorite boss battle in the game (behind Sisters of Battle). He seems really hard at first, but the more you practice the easier he gets. The battle is one big “dance,” where you have to follow the flow and do the proper next move. This is a VERY defensive battle and you should ALWAYS be reacting to what he does. Don’t get greedy and follow the “dance,” and he will eventually become very easy. The only time he ever becomes “hard,” in my opinion is during P5, and that’s because your nerves are going crazy 😂 Anyways, good stuff! Congratulations 🥳
Ah, I’ll never forget the feeling of beating NKG for the first time (or Pantheon 5 for that matter), maybe playing through Pale Court will help me relive that.
Nkg is not that hard, real pain comes with ascended and radiant markoth. I pretty much stant in the middle without movie, and dodge all the attacksnof NKG
