This is an interesting debate maybe?? Are we not in the place we are because the church has generally chosen to stay out of "politics"?? I'm NOT speaking for this worship team but what about standing up strongly against the wrong and strongly for the "right" as the salt and light of the earth God has called us to be to the world in every area of society including "politics"... there's so many lies being told these days, why not take a stand for TRUtH no matter how unpopular it may be these days?? Isn't that what Jesus taught us to do?? (Just be sure your "truth" is His truth...) hint: Gods word not Mans words!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Didnt Jesus tell us to teach and disciple people in everything (why does this not include thinking on "political" issues??) Could this lack of teaching and discipleship in this area be at the root of why there is a division w in the church.... for example, pro choice Christians voting for pro choice candidates?? Yes it's always a word game as "choice" sounds good... but How can this be when the Bible teaches about the sanctity of life and how God knits us together in our mother's wombs and knows the plans he has for us even as he knits... yes God knits!! Lol 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽and also knows the hairs on our heads no matter inside or outside the womb, no matter how small or young we are!! Can we not say **all lives matter??
