Great video! Appreciate that you recorded most of the video using the actual Meet 2 webcam. It looks really good. I do have a question, have you experienced any framerate drop when recording in 4k with this camera? I’ve seen other UA-cam reviews and in some of them the frame rate drops significantly
Thanks so much for the kind words. The truth is that I didn't see any issue with a drop in framerate during my tests. Were the other tests utilizing a lot of additional elements that could have been impacting the framerate of the capture in OBS, perhaps? If the camera got really hot, then maybe I could see some issues popping up, but it was pretty decent on not getting too hot during my testing (and I still use it today).
love your style, Joe. I just got the Meet 2 as my first webcam (recording only for now) and I'm amazed at the performance and features! I haven't been able to figure out how to use the beauty features and have them show up in OBS though. is that where the virtual camera comes into play? subscribed 😃
Yes the virtual camera is required for Beauty settings, but regular camera controls and exposure settings don't require it. Thank you so much for the kind words.
All in all what is the best webcam to buy? I am streaming and have been fighting between: Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra & Elgato Facecam Pro Web Camera, 4K UHD? - Money is not an issue but I do not want an actuall camera
@lootgoblin989 i would lean towards the facecam pro. Great software and it opens you up to more compatibility with other devices including the stream deck and the prompter
How does the OBSBOT Meet 2 measure up to other webcams in your opinion?
Which do you think has better image quality, the meet 2 or the tiny 2?

Would you say it's better than the elgato facecam pro
@@ForeverHollowed Better? No. Better for the price? Yes. If you are on a budget, I recommend this camera with more money to go towards your mic.
Im trying to sell my elgato mk2 and a Razer kiyo pro ultra i gor for free to get a couple of these xd
elgato facecame pro would you say is better does 4k at 60fps
