Wasn't that common. Amulet of life was removed a year before and the most players sold their broken amulets to Eremo for 50k. Either way, rare or not, it's still atleast 50k at NPC, always worth to take :)

Broken Amulet naquela época não valia nada, existiam vários. No máximo o dobro que o Eremo paga.
It's a "dumb as fuck" move to allow others to use your house(read: open the fucking door)...
You can be hacked, but at least it will be YOUR FAULT, now Midukan lost his Demon Legs+honour shield because someone else fucked up. Like, DUDE... Still own a Golden Helmet, but showing off(leaving demon set at the house) and trusting didn't worth'd it.

This was before botting was a thing really. At most people used macros to fish faster and maybe auto aiming with runes was around, but it wasnt really commonplace. As far as i remember cavebotting wasnt really a thing in 2004, especially not at higher levels.

@@PinkeySuavo yeah the fishing was insane on the one I had was insane and it was really almost impossible to use unless you were somewhere that no one ever went cuz it was so obvious. It would fish so fast like half your screen in a matter of seconds and didn't even have to click on fishing rod or anything at all, just pushed like the start/go button and it would start making the fishing symbol all over random spots in any water on screen and not needing worms either I used to sell bps of fish for 5k a piece and made a killing plus a bunch of runes xD I think all my chars on main had at least 50-75 fishing skill lol

Nothing extra ordinary. All hacks were caused by:
99% player used "unofficial software" ;) Which captured credentials and send it back to hacker
1% player was tricked into giving away credentials to "friend"
Technically speaking those "hackers" were not really hackers - they didn't break security of tibia itself or compromised email accounts via technical means. They just provided malware, usually in form of a bot, which player voluntarily used.
This guy was awere of houses he could get in, he went straight into the demon set house, which apparently was Midukan's house. Looking at the other conversations he had, this guy was a high ranked member in his guild "pink guys with green hair", which was a war guild. In war guilds its waaaaay too common for leaders to have each others passwords, in case they need their characters to fight or really do anything else. This is looking like an internal job.
@@tui.6662 Could be, but it was very, very well known that Midukan and Nudek were close friends. Same guild, other vids of them waring/hunting together and so on. Even I who didn't play Eternia would have gone over to Midukans house if I had hacked Nudek.
@@tui.6662 o hacker pode ter sido alguem do proprio time passando algum arquivo infectado (naquela epoca, hunted list era no bloco de notas e voce podia injetar um kl ate num print de paint pra vc ter ideia). O hacker sendo do time, ja sabia da demon legs e da panelinha q tinha acesso a house
